We had the pleasure of having a string trio perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible! Their music added an elegant and magical touch to our special day, creating the perfect atmosphere from the ceremony to the reception. The musicians were not only highly skilled, but they also played with such passion and emotion, making each piece feel personal and meaningful. They were professional, accommodating to our song requests, and seamlessly adapted to the flow of the event. We couldn't have asked for a better musical experience—highly recommended!

We found Intermezzo on Hitched, as they did a promotion to learn a new song that's not on their repertoire. This was fantastic for us, as I wanted to walk down the aisle to Test Drive from How to Train your Dragon.

We spoke to Izzy on Zoom and discussed what we were looking for on the day and the tone we wished to set. She was lovely, and said they'd happily learn Test Drive for me.
I was a bit apprehensive at first, because I didn't get to hear it until I was coming down n the aisle. But as soon as they started playing, I cried! I can't wait for our Wedding video so we can hear it again.

The trio were lovely, talented and warm individuals! We had so many compliments about them on our day. They played beautifully!

We booked Intermezzo String Quartet for our Wedding in October... Izzy was great to work with from our initial contact to the musical arrangements for a song we got as part of a Hitched deal.... the musicians were great, and very flexible as the weather was far from perfect on our day. We managed an outdoor ceremony, but moved the drinks reception inside.... they switched venues, no fuss and were a great addition to our day.... highly recommend

Intermezzo were an absolute delight to work with for our wedding in September 2025. Communication was so easy - they were always responsive and accommodating. Their repertoire is already fantastic, but we also requested a special song that I’d always dreamed of walking down the aisle to. Izzy and her team kindly learned it just for us and performed it so beautifully during the ceremony, it truly made my dream come true and it was so beautiful that it made me cry!

They also played throughout our drinks reception, and so many of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend.

From the get go, Izzy from Intermezzo put us at ease! We fell in love with their online videos, upon reaching out Izzy was very quick to respond. We hired the string trio for the reception drinks and ceremony for my wedding. And wow the compliments I got from our guests were great! They played so much in the time and a great mix of everything.
Whilst I was booking I made small changes throughout and they were very patient and professional and made me feel very happy with picking them. We asked for two personal songs for them to learn, and they smashed it. Will 100% recommend to anyone.

Izzy was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process and very accommodating with a custom arrangement request. We loved having the string trio during our ceremony and cocktail hour, it made the day absolutely magical. Our guests were all very impressed too! We only wish we took a few more moments to enjoy the music through the whirlwind of the day. We’d highly recommend them!

Henry and I got married on 12th July 2025 at Goodnestone House, and we hired Intermezzo to perform at our drinks reception. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Izzy is wonderful—she takes the time to create an arrangement that feels truly personal to your event. We requested music from the Bridgerton soundtrack, and the team not only rehearsed and performed all of our favourite pieces beautifully, but also made sure our favourite songs were played while Henry and I were within earshot to enjoy them.

Our guests have shared so many lovely comments about the quartet and their performance. Intermezzo added an extra layer of elegance and charm to our drinks reception, helping to make the day even more special and memorable.

We booked Intermezzo for our wedding on 14/6/25 after I first saw and heard them at my son’s wedding in December 2023. What can we say ? They were fabulous. We’ve received so many great comments from our guests about the ‘Intermezzo experience’ ! From our first enquiry, months ago, to the actual day of the wedding we received nothing but professional service. We had a video call about a month before the day to discuss our wants and expectations, and they certainly delivered. Their music was amazing. They even learnt a special piece by Olly Murs for my god -daughter who had a traumatic brain injury some years ago… we call her his super fan !

Working with intermezzo was a breeze. They had an extensive repertoire with all your music needs and even offer a bespoke song writing service. We booked the trio with one bespoke song for the entrance and it was perfect. We had a pre entrance song to Radiohead - reckoner and many guests commented on how beautiful it sounded. Izzy let me curate song choices and order and nothing was an issue at all. The music during the reception drinks was beautiful, not overpowering and we could not be more impressed with the quality. Intermezzo weren’t the most expensive quote either but the quality of the musicians was incredible. I had absolutely nothing to worry about on our wedding day as they coordinated with the venue, the celebrant and the wedding party perfectly. Thank you for everything!! Could not recommend more!

Intermezzo played at our wedding this past weekend, and were simply fantastic. The music was exquisite, a sound that both of us really wanted at our wedding. We hadn’t really thought about having music before the wedding ceremony and during the drinks reception so we left it quite late to make a booking! From reaching out to the group until the last note was played they were just perfect! The selection of music they offer is huge and there is something to suit everyone and every occasion. The ladies are so talented and made sure everything was as we wanted it ! Can’t rate them highly enough, professional, friendly, hugely talented; just perfect !
