The first thing that drew us to Olly’s photos was the joy and love radiating from them, and the way in which they each came to life, almost like a moving, so much was the storytelling in them. Then we saw that he mentored, and that this was called ‘Knight School’ – can’t beat a good name-based pun! We were hooked! But the thing that finally sealed the deal, was Olly himself – his warm and friendly nature from the beginning, how he made us feel so at ease from the first call – we loved his approach, and we knew that he was someone we’d love to have around on our wedding day.

Olly provided such personable and professional service throughout. Everything was clear and timely, and we knew exactly what to expect throughout. Olly shared tips for the day, got to know us, and even brought along a second – also wonderful – photographer, Jack with him.

Olly and Jack fitted in so well on the day. It was great to have them around, amongst the guests, and sharing in our happy day.

And then the photos. Despite knowing how good his photography was, they were beyond anything we could have imagined. The big moments, with all of their joy and significance, and then the little moments of intimacy or humour throughout the day, when we didn’t even notice they were there: they captured and brought it all back to life. Moments that we will cherish forever reflected in images that we will treasure.

The photos Olly captured are nothing short of incredible. When we look through them, we are instantly transported back to our wedding day. The memories come alive - the colours, the people, the joy…we don’t know how he does it, but he does. We’ve been blown away.

When we first met Olly, it was immediately clear we'd found the right person. We’d already fallen in love with his one-of-a-kind 'documentary style' photos from his website, but - having spoken with other photographers - we were not expecting to find such a wonderful all-round person.

On top of his phenomenal technical skill, what truly sets Olly apart is simply who he is. He's naturally warm, funny, and deeply interested in people, making him wonderful to chat to and work with. And he’s thought carefully about every stage of the experience. For example, he even sent us a thoughtful pre-wedding message that had us cracking up with laughter - it made us look forward to the day even more.

On the day itself, it was so enjoyable to have him there. I usually feel self-conscious having photos taken, so I never expected to feel relaxed - let alone enjoy it. He has a magical quality that seems to bring out additional smiles in people. Unsurprisingly, our guests loved him; he particularly charmed my wedding party as we were getting ready in the morning. (And imagine doing the seating plan and realising how many people would be lucky to sit next to him!)

Olly is so easy to be around that you forget about the camera. The final collection is a gorgeous blend of warm, spontaneous moments and truly stunning artistic shots. Each photo showcases his exceptional talent and unique eye.

Whether tears, laughter, or wild moves on the dancefloor, Olly somehow managed to find the core feeling of each scene and translate it to film. Wow.

If you're a couple thinking of working with Olly, do it. There's no-one else like him.

We didn't really know where to start with choosing a photographer for our wedding but after a few email exchanges with Olly our minds were made up. Olly made us feel like we'd always known him, he was relaxed, easy going and we loved the previews of the photos he'd produced at other weddings.

We met Olly before the wedding day to talk about how we met, what group pictures we'd like on the day etc and it was like visiting old friends. Olly's family were so welcoming and made us feel at home.

The big day arrived and Olly was brilliant. He looked professional, was so friendly with our guests, remembered people's names and flitted about almost completely unnoticed by my husband and I. The kids thought he was great fun and so many of our guests commented on how genuinely lovely our photographer was.

We received the photos within days of returning home from our honeymoon and we couldn't be happier with them. The laughter, nerves, emotion, love, fun, dancing have all been captured to perfection. Through the photos we have witnessed parts of our day that we weren't actually part of and have been reminded of the beauty of the parts that we may have been too busy to really appreciate at the time. The slideshow is a total tear-jerker!
