Becky and Eddie at Xander’s Bar were one of the best decisions we made for our DIY wedding held at our home.

The bar that we had originally booked had fallen through, and I contacted Xander’s Bar and several other bar companies in a panic. It was immediately obvious that Xander’s sat head and shoulders above the others - they have true bar knowledge that expands so widely. My now-husband and I are cocktail enthusiasts, and we knew that we wanted a broad cocktail list, alongside beers, ciders, wines, soft drinks - the lot. A lot of other bar companies would only offer two cocktails (a “his” and “hers”) and these were typically Pimms or Jack and Coke (arguably not cocktails!).

Becky and Eddie shook up quality cocktails, with quality ingredients. The bar never had a queue and kept moving, despite every single guest having a drink in hand! My personal favourite moment was an 80-year-old aunt perusing the cocktail menus and sampling all (and now also becoming a cocktail enthusiast!). The drinks were very fairly priced.

Some of our guests requested drinks off-menu, or twists on the classics, and Xander’s Bar were only too happy to oblige which added a hugely fun personalised experience.

Becky and Eddie also had good banter with the guests, and we all rave about them still! Becky was also wonderful as she captured lots of behind-the-scenes content that I had no idea was being taken, so we’ve enjoyed some sneak peek images and experienced other people’s day. She captured a really lovely image of my older brother at the bar, absolutely beaming, which is just lovely.

They were entirely self-sufficient, setting up effortlessly, requiring no handholding. They dressed the wedding breakfast table with glassware, all the drinks were served in beautiful glassware (no plastic cups here!) and also provided drinking water. They also created a beautiful welcome drinks reception, with 4 drinks on offer. They also went above by providing a hot drinks service after the wedding breakfast, which was hugely appreciated by our guests.

I’m so grateful that our original bar fell through, as it meant we met Becky and Eddie. I hope to work with them again for anniversary parties/any excuse we can think of, as they really were an essential and valued part of our day.

Xanders bar were absolutely amazing for my dad’s birthday party.
They provided a quick and professional service. They catered for my dad’s beer request alongside all my sisters cocktail requests.

Xander Bar made our cocktail reception come to life with making three of our favourite drinks! From the start, they were so accommodating, easy to get hold of and helped us with making decisions.

Lots of compliments on not only the taste but also the look of the cocktails! The only negative was that as the bride, I was too busy to see them being made or try all three 😂

Where do we even start?! Xander's bar team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. In the lead-up to our wedding, they were incredibly attentive, helpful, professional and friendly :)

They arrived the day before to get everything perfectly set up, and on the day itself, the bar looked stunning. So many of our guests commented not only on how beautiful the setup was but also on how delicious the cocktails were, especially their secret recipe espresso martinis (if you know, you know)

From helping with signage to sorting wine glass rentals, they truly went above and beyond. On top of all that, their pricing is super competitive, and the whole experience was completely seamless. We honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly!

We really liked working with Becky and Ed. Xanders did our evening cash bar for our wedding. 2 bars (one inside, one outside). They were very flexible to cater to our specific requirements and requests, and put on a really good menu for us. They also were very self-sufficient, ensuring things like glassware, ice, etc were all taken care of and a weight off our mind.

Lastly, they set up our champagne tower, which was great!

Overall, if you need a mobile bar operator for your event, I would recommend these guys for sure.

We found Xander's bar to be good value compared to other bar suppliers in the area. The packages seemed to offer a bit more and there was a greater variety of drinks on offer.

Once we had booked Xander's bar we had a couple of useful chats with Becky who set out different options and provided really clear advice. We were able to have our preferred drinks on tap, and they were even willing to make a cocktail using a recipe designed by one of our guests. Nothing was too much trouble! Becky was really quick to respond to any emails we sent in between these chats and it made the lead-up to our wedding stress free from a drinks perspective.

On the day itself they provided a great service. It was a very hot day and they took extra effort to ensure drinks remained cold for as long as possible and that the water dispenser was kept topped up. The bar itself looked great and really fitted in with the aesthetics of the day.

We would definitely recommend Xander's bar for any event.

We wanted to split our bar by paying for some drinks, whilst having the rest paid for by guests.

We decided to use tokens that could be exchange for this, and Xander's bar helped set up and separate the bill for this. They also helped design our bar menu and provided suggestions on what to/ not to include.

The service was friendly and very professional, and they accommodated to all of our requests - we'd highly recommend them!

Rebecca and her brother were great throughout. From initial enquiry no question was too much and they were able to cater to all our needs! Coming the day before to set up took a lot of pressure off on the day and ensured we had a smooth running evening bar. They were very friendly throughout and provided the highest level of service. We have had numerous compliments on how impressive and efficient they were throughout the night! Would highly recommend.

Xanders Bar was amazing and the perfect bar for our wedding. Not only did they provide the bar but they provided a drinks package which we thought was very reasonable and when they said they would provide a glass of champagne it was really good champagne and you got a proper glass of champagne! The service was brilliant from start to finish. They were quick at getting back to us and they thought of everything in the run up. We would definitely recommend!

We chose Xander's Bar due to being recommended by our venue, and also being local, and we were really thrilled with their service. The team were friendly, obliging, professional, flexible and really good value. They were happy to spend time at our venue with us in advance, talking through the options as to where to put their bar, as well as the types of drinks, etc. The mobile bar itself was really attractive, and the table wine served was very nice. We also had welcome drinks served at a second table which again was made really pretty and fitted in beautifully with our barn venue. We would highly recommend Xander's Bar for similar events!

We hired Xander’s Bar for our daughter’s 21st birthday. Their communication from start to finish was outstanding and they really made the whole process of party planning easier for us.
