JF Styling is a wedding and event design company based in Thaxted, Essex, that is happy to serve the surrounding counties and further afield. Company owner and lead designer James Ford founded his event design business in 2015. He and his team pride themselves on providing superior customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations.

The JF Styling team will work with you to bring your dream wedding design to life using their creativity, eye for detail, and extensive decor collection. They can provide everything from tablescapes to event lighting, ceremony decor to venue design. No occasion is too large or too small and they treat every celebration with the utmost care and attention. No matter your vision for your big day, these design experts will work with you to make it a magnificent reality.

How far in advance should I contact you?
We recommend that you contact us at least a year in advance to make sure your date is available. We get booked up very quickly. Some couples start their planning two, if not three years in advance
Do you offer an online list of weddings?
No
What areas do you cover?
Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, London, Kent (we could travel further)
How do you work?
When you get in touch, we discuss options, book your in for a design consultation and discuss plans in detail! Once booked, we keep in touch in the run up. On the day, we come in, do our thing and go!
Operating hours:
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (office hours)
Weddings run everyday of the week
What are the forms of payment?
We always take a 25% deposit of the estimated total on the invoice. There after, dependant on how far away your wedding date is, your final total will be split over several payments

Instagram to Real Life!
Jf Styling took my vision from Instagram and brought it to life. They worked with me on a super windy and risky day for weather andade a beautiful setting for every moment of our special day. Truly one of our best decisions booking!! They made our setting a blossom dream!

Beautiful Styling
I would thoroughly recommend JF Styling.
They were really professional throughout and listened to what I wanted.
I never had to worry as I knew they would deliver on the day, and honestly when I got to look what they had created I was blown away!
It looked like something out of a fairytale.

Best suppliers ever!!
JF Styling did my wedding at Ashridge House and were an absolute dream! They are so passionate about what they do, so helpful and accommodating and live and breathe weddings. I enjoyed working with them so much it was like having best friends plan your day! Special thanks to Emma and Matthew who were a joy to spend time with at the showroom and bounce ideas off, chat over email and the special care and excitement they have for every client. The end results are utterly amazing as well! Love love love you guys xx

Amazing and stunning!
Our wedding looked like something straight out of a dream.

Absolutely fabulous
Our venue had let us down with putting up Christmas decorations for our wedding on the last Friday of November. I found JF Styling by accident and am I glad I did.
I spoke to Emma on the phone and she sent me their look book which gave me all sorts of ideas of what we could have. Emma was so understanding and really helped with Christmassy ideas. I had a meeting with Matthew, what a genius he he is, I knew it would all be perfect in his hands.
On the day Matthew made sure that we were happy with everything before he left. I had tears at everything he had done because it was all absolutely perfect and I was so overwhelmed by it.
We would absolutely recommend JF Styling, you can’t go wrong, everything will be perfect guaranteed.

Simply amazing
JF Styling dressed our wedding on the 27th May 2021, Matthew and the team absolutely over exceeded on my vision for the day.
Eveything from the first meeting to our actual wedding day was absolutely exceptional, communication was superb and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel that our day was in the beat hands possible.
Even though out the pandemic JF have been absolutely amazing and we cannot thank them enough for making our day as amazing as it was and I cannot recommend them enough! X

We initially engaged with the JF Styling Team in 2019, and they journeyed with us all the way through to our wedding date in September 2022.
