Rooted Ceremonies is led by Joy Justice, an independent celebrant based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, but willing to travel across the East Midlands and Yorkshire. Joy's radiant warmth and calm presence will help you to feel more at ease as you dream up and prepare for a wedding or vow renewal ceremony that aligns with your values and fits your personalities and identities.

Joy's gentle and respectful listening and questioning will encourage you to share your favourite stories and significant moments during your relationship journey. Your ceremony can include different spiritual, cultural, or religious elements if they are meaningful for you. Joy will work with you to draw out exactly what you wish for your ceremony. She'll then get crafting a unique script for you, full of storytelling and moments to make you and your audience smile, laugh, and weep tears of joy and beauty.

• Support with writing vows, designing your own rituals, etc, as desired

• A personalised ceremony script to read over and suggest any edits to
• A rehearsal at the venue where appropriate
• Officiating your ceremony on the day and being 100% there for you!
• A keepsake copy of the script and ceremony certificate

Special additional touches Joy can offer include pre-wedding crafty gatherings with home-grown food, and ceremony preparation sessions where, with Joy's guidance, you can make your own ceremony materials (e.g., candles, handtying cords, petal confetti), develop your vows, and prepare emotionally for your big day. On the day, she can lead your audience in song while they wait for the ceremony to begin.

As well as being a celebrant, Joy is a mother, crafter, musician, and homesteader. She believes in creating meaningful and hearty connections between people, and in respecting the earth and all its fellow beings.
