This is simply the best place you could married.

We went to view 12 different venues and fell in love. The Glade had everything we wanted and more! There are not many venues out there that have a full-sized stage available to use for your entertainment. Just amazing! In the evening when all the fairy lights came on, it was just magical.

We got married outside under the new gazebo. We loved the fact that we were able to decorate the marquee to exactly the vibe we wanted. The Forestry Centre site that the venue sits on is just beautiful and has so many opportunities for great photos. You’ve also got 6 huge lodges on the site that can be rented out for your weekend. We would highly recommend doing this!

Food-wise, we wanted a relaxed option and went with the BBQ. Saffron had so many different options and they were flexible with us to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. Everyone commented on how good the food was!

Vicki was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. If ever we had a question, a quick email or call later, we’d have a response and reassurance that we weren’t asking silly questions! She communicated brilliantly with us throughout and was there on the day ensuring everything went smoothly.

Some have shared concerns about the sound limiter. Please don’t let this put you off! You get music outside on the stage until 8pm and music inside with the sound limiter until finish. We would never have known there was a sound limiter unless we were told, and our wedding was festival themed, all about the music! It did not affect our day in the slightest.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Nicki and Vicki for their help in making our day as special as possible. There is so much going for this venue and it is so reasonably priced compared to similar venues out there. You would not regret your choice in getting married here.

We wanted a local, outdoor style wedding and went to see several in this area, The Glade was the cheapest out of the ones we saw and I'm so glad we decided to have ours here! The service and professionalism from Vicki who co-ordinated with us was amazing, she always answered my e-mails quickly and was super helpful both in the lead up and on the day. The staff were all amazing, I can't think of one thing that they could have done better for us. The dinner and buffet were also delicious! Would highly recommend having your wedding here.
We were lucky enough to have nice weather on the day so we had lawn games out on the glade for people to play during the day, if it was raining there would still be room free in the gazebo to put games out until the disco started in the evening.

We couldn’t be more grateful to the saffron team. From our first meeting to the day, Vicki has been quick to respond and always friendly. On the day the entire team were incredible from start to finish, we had the best day and the food was incredible. We had so many of our guests compliment the staff and the food. We cannot say thank you enough to everyone that was there that helped make it the best day of our lives.

Having our Reception at the Glade was the best decision. The venue, staff, and catering was exceptional. The venue had everything we needed and they were very flexible and communicative to ensure our day was perfect. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to have their wedding here in the heart of the forestry centre.

My husband and I got married at the Glade in 2021. The staff couldn't have been more helpful during the process. We had to reschedule twice because of the pandemic and the staff were understanding and flexible. The venue was a beautiful mix of warm indoor space in the marquee and open space surrounded by the woods. The pavilion for the ceremony added a wonderful touch. As the Glade also partnered with Saffron Catering, organising the food was made simple, with plenty of options to choose from. The Rosliston Forestry Centre cabins adjacent to the venue made a lovely place for us to stay for a few nights around the wedding itself so we didn't have to worry about travel on the day, and had a private place to relax amidst all the hype. Highly recommended!

We could not have asked for a better day and better service. The forest setting was our ideal location and all of the staff were impeccable - excellent communication, commitment to detail and they totally got the whole vibe we were going for. We had Afternoon Tea and it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted - and I’ve had a lot of Afternoon Teas at some fancy places! - and our guests are still talking about the evening food! We couldn’t have asked for anything more, other than the opportunity to do it every day!"
