I’m Richard Jansen — a wedding celebrant crafting ceremonies for the curious, the stylish and the quietly rebellious.

My fee for a fully bespoke ceremony is £550 inclusive of travel within Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, and London’s surrounding areas.

I take commissions, not bookings, because every story deserves to be created with intent — not copied and pasted. My work blends elegance, authenticity and imagination to shape ceremonies that feel personal, poetic and entirely your own.

Whether it’s a Bridgerton-worthy stately home, a warehouse in East London or a festival-style celebration on a Cotswold farm, I design ceremonies that feel intentional and completely unborrowed.

My background includes more than a decade working within a Royal Household, arranging private and official events around the world. Before becoming a celebrant, I was also Director of Communications for an Olympic governing body, working across numerous Olympic Games and major international sports ceremonies. Those experiences taught me the importance of discretion, atmosphere and getting every detail right — qualities I bring to every wedding ceremony I create.

Before that, I began my career in London’s West End, including Phantom of the Opera, where I learned the power of presence, timing and emotion. Those instincts now sit quietly behind everything I do.

Based in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, I also work across Buckinghamshire, London and further afield — shaping ceremonies that are poised, personal and unmistakably yours.
