I’m Richard Jansen — a Wedding Celebrant creating ceremonies for the curious, the stylish, and the quietly rebellious.

I work by commission, not template. That means your ceremony is shaped around your story, your energy, and the atmosphere you want to create — whether that’s elegant, relaxed, playful, or something in between.

From stately homes and city spaces to laid-back Cotswolds celebrations and destination weddings overseas, I design ceremonies that feel intentional, personal, and completely uncopy-and-paste-free.

Before celebrancy, I spent years working at the highest level of live events & communications — within a Royal Household, in International Sport, and earlier on the West End stage (The Phantom of the Opera). It taught me how to hold a room, read the moment, and make people feel comfortable — even when emotions run high.

I’m often chosen by couples who care about words, atmosphere, and a ceremony that feels natural rather than over-performed.

My fee for a fully bespoke ceremony is £550, including travel across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding London areas.
