I’m Richard Jansen — a wedding celebrant creating ceremonies for the curious, the stylish, and the quietly rebellious.

I work by commission, not template. Every ceremony is shaped around your story, your energy, and the atmosphere you want to create — elegant, relaxed, playful, or somewhere in between.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent years working at the highest level of live events and communications — including within a Royal Household, on the Olympics, and on the West End stage (The Phantom of the Opera). It taught me how to hold a room, read the moment, and help people feel at ease when emotions run high.

Today, my Wedding Ceremonies take me from iconic venues such as Blenheim Palace to hidden gems throughout the Cotswolds and beyond, creating celebrations that are thoughtful, personal and unmistakably yours

I’m often chosen by couples who care about words, tone, and how a moment actually feels — and who want something natural rather than over-performed.

Fee: £750 for a fully bespoke ceremony (including travel across Oxfordshire & surrounding counties).
