Luca's Events provided the catering for our wedding in June 2022 and what can I saw but WOW! They were absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend them enough. Laur and his team (including the wonderful Dani) were excellent from initial contact through to event follow up - they were friendly, communicative, passionate about great food, generous (in both spirit and portion sizes), reassuring and overall super talented both in terms of food and service.
Laur went above and beyond to ensure the food was exceptional - it was truly delicious, and even our most foodie friends were super impressed. I would hire Laur and his team again in a heartbeat - and am already trying to think up the next excuse to get them back in. Thankyou Laur, Dani, and your lovely team!

Outstanding on all accounts
After a glowing recommendation from our friends in Chester, we booked Luca's Events for our engagement party this year in August... something we certainly didn’t regret.
Laur was fantastic to deal with, made everything extremely simple to arrange, especially as we had to navigate around the changing Covid restrictions. He is the type of person who always says "yes", and very quickly after speaking to him we knew we were in the best hands possible and he genuinely cared about us as people.
We had an initial idea of the type of food we wanted, but after a quick chat with the team, it was obvious that we could let them guide us and we would be happy. We opted for a sharing starter board, their "best of British", a lamb main course and another sharing of homemade cheesecakes for dessert.
The food was unreal, really unique, fantastic flavours and served on really nice dishes. Literally cannot fault a single course. Every single one of our guests were raving about their food. We have already booked them again for a bigger garden party next summer - and we cannot wait. Asides from the food, the team were great to have around. Great with the guests, weren’t overbearing at all and all with good humour. Can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with any part of the Luca's Events interaction.

The best we could have had
Laur - I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to you for all of your help and support with our wedding! You were so helpful and patient with all of my million and one questions and made the whole wedding planning process so easy. It was so easy for us to put our trust in you in setting up the best day of our lives so far... everything was honestly perfect....we couldn't have asked for more!
So we both just wanted to say thank you for helping us start our married life in the most perfect way! We are hoping to organise a small party for our first anniversary so it would be amazing to try your amazing food again! Lots of love, Tanya

The best wedding catering we could have hoped for
We could not recommend Luca’s Events enough. When planning our wedding, we prioritised food as one of the, if not the most important thing at our wedding. Laur is quick to respond to emails, considerate and highly professional. Not to mention an excellent chef! Lots our guests said that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding - one guest even asked if Laur has a Michelin star! If you, like us, feel that high quality food should be a priority at your wedding, then look no further than Luca’s Events!

Fantastic from start to finish
We wanted to wow our guests, so starting with the menu tasting we worked together with Lour to create a tweaked menu. You cannot get someone more professional and someone to care about your day as much as Lour and Danielle. The food on the day was amazing, the service was efficient and friendly and the communication was great throughout. The canapés were also delicious. Excellent standard for our 154 guests. Our September wedding was simply fantastic, highly recommended!!!

Luca’s catering
Luca’s Events did our catering at Homme House in September and my god they were amazing! Staff were all very attentive and polite, the food was just amazing… people have said it is the best wedding food they have ever had at a wedding. Fab experience
My husband (:) and I decided to hire Luca’s for our wedding of 146 guests in August and they were phenomenal at every step of the process. Very responsive, worked perfectly with our wedding planner and other suppliers, accommodating, with outstanding communication in the run up to the day.
The food was simply INCREDIBLE!!! Delicious canapés and a three course meal, with the lamb dish absolutely divine and a passion fruit cheesecake that should be chosen by everyone.

Impeccable service, incredible food!
Dani and Laur could not have done more to make the catering on our wedding day utterly seamless. On the lead up they were open to conversations and went over and above to understand what we wanted so that they could take care of it all for us on the day, and that's exactly what happened. This husband and wife, and their incredible team make you feel like part of their family and we trusted them completely. They negotiated weather challenges at our completely outdoor wedding and delivered excellent service and food that we continue to be complimented on months after our day!

Luca’s Events catered for our wedding on a very rainy day in May and it was truly brilliant!! We had very high expectations following a great menu tasting and despite a load of last minute changes they made everything work seamlessly. We had so much great feedback from our guests about the quality of the food - especially the vegan options, with many saying it’s the best food they have had at a wedding. Incredible food and service
We were so so glad we went with Luca’s Catering. They were amazingly organised and incredible with dietary requirements. The food itself was some of the best I have ever eaten! So many guests agreed. No one was left hungry and the food itself was so beautifully presented. (Photo is an example of one of our evening food plates!)

Great catering for our wedding
Great experience with Laur and his staff who served canapes and a three course wedding breakfast at our wedding. The food was outstanding, we had non-stop compliments from guests all evening. Excellent communication throughout the organising and even came to do a recce of the venue in advance. Although our wedding was quite small, we felt really important for them and could see how much love they put into what they do. Highly recommend!

Brilliant food and service
We had Luca’s Events for our wedding and reception, October 2022 and they were brilliant. Dani is professional, helpful and offers sound advice and ideas to make your day special! We felt reassured throughout planning stages and discussions. The food was fantastic, all our guests said it was the best lamb they had ever eaten! Our starters and canapés were creative and really brought our vision to life. They went over and beyond, exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend.

Great people, wonderful food
Due to covid we had a much longer engagement than we would have liked but it made the day even more special once it came round. As cliche as it sounds, our day could not have been any more perfect. Laur and everyone at Luca’s Events have been fantastic from the first enquiry, to the menu tasting, to working with our venue and other suppliers, to cooking and serving delicious food in the most important day of our lives.
