What an amazing team at Minxies! Their professionalism and work was amazing, they made myself and my bridal party look and feel out of this world.We loved their friendliness their passion and their vibe was on point.Would thoroughly recommend jodie and her team again and again. Love them!

I had the pleasure of having Maya do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment of my inquiry to my trial and then the big day, she was professional, kind, and incredibly talented. Maya recommended products to help my skin be the best it has ever been. My makeup looked flawless and my hair stayed perfectly in place without feeling stiff. Maya really listened to what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable — I truly felt like the best version of myself. Maya went above and beyond helping me into my dress! If you’re looking for someone who’s skilled, calming, and genuinely passionate about their craft, I can’t recommend Maya enough. We had the most amazing experience with our hair and makeup team, Hannah, Laura, and Cerys, for our wedding on 20 March 2026. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent. Everything was clear, organised, and easy to follow, which made the whole process feel stress-free. I also had a trial beforehand, which was such a great experience and really helped me feel confident and excited for the wedding day. On the wedding day itself, everything ran smoothly. One of the makeup artists was unfortunately unwell, but Laura stepped in seamlessly and handled everything incredibly professionally. When we added an extra person for makeup on the day, she managed it with complete ease, ensuring everyone was ready on time without any stress. Hannah, Laura, and Cerys were all incredibly friendly, calm, and lovely to have around. They created such a relaxed and positive atmosphere in the morning, which made a big difference to how the day started. Our hair and makeup were exactly what we had hoped for, beautiful, natural, and long lasting throughout the entire day and evening. We received so many compliments, and everyone felt amazing. We’re so grateful for their professionalism, flexibility, and talent, and we would 100% recommend Hannah, Laura, and Cerys to anyone looking for a brilliant hair and makeup team.

I booked Becky to do my wedding hair and also x4 bridesmaids and a flower girl. Becky has been amazing throughout. During my hair trial she was so accommodating doing numerous different styles and also suggesting other ideas, nothing was too much trouble. On the wedding day again Becky was amazing, so friendly, professional and very calm ( seen as she had x6 hairstyles to do). Everyone was happy with their hair and it stayed in place all day. I couldn't recommend Becky enough, not only did she do an amazing job with our hair, nothing was too much trouble and she also helped out with other things throughout the morning. Everything went so smoothly and stress free.

Nikki was amazing at my trial and on the big day. She is professional and so friendly, listening to what everyone wanted and being able to style our hair perfectly. My hair lasted all day and dancing into the night. Thank you Nikki for creating our perfect looks for the big day.

Amanda was fantastic. She arrived on time and stuck to the time schedule she had originally planned for us, making sure we all had plenty of time to get dressed and ready for the wedding. Her communication was first class, and she was very accommodating. The make up lasted all day, and well into the early hours of the morning, even my false eyelashes didn't move until I pulled them off for bed at 3am!! She got all of our looks just right and we did not feel like we were wearing make up. I would not hesitate to recommend her for weddings and photo shoots. Thanks Amanda, you are a star!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist than Nicola. From the very start she was incredible. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she checked in regularly, sending the sweetest messages (including “happy last week of being a Miss!”) which made the whole experience feel so special and personal. I got ready at her beautiful studio in Carmarthen and she immediately created the most calm, relaxed atmosphere. She even had a little breakfast waiting for me and a thoughtful goodie bag, which was such a lovely touch. Nicola has such a warm, reassuring presence and was the ultimate hype woman all morning. I felt completely at ease. My makeup was absolutely perfect. I felt so beautiful and still like myself, just the best version. She really listened and executed everything flawlessly. What truly blew me away was everything she did beyond makeup. She helped me get dressed, took the most gorgeous bridal photos and photos of my accessories, and even filmed our first look. These are memories I’ll treasure forever and it was completely above and beyond what I expected. Nicola was also our witness for our elopement and was genuinely so happy to be part of the moment. It felt like having a friend there celebrating with us. If you’re considering Nicola, book her. She is unbelievably talented but also one of the kindest, most supportive people you could have with you on your wedding morning! 💗

I don’t wear a lot of make up but as an older bride felt I needed professional help for my big day. Sara was amazing and did a trial run first to help me see the right look. On the day it was so easy as I knew what to expect.

What more can you ask for on your wedding day!? She really is the best around, her make up understanding and dedication makes her so good at her job! She was wonderful with the whole family. Really is a fantastic make up artist
