Based in Bassaleg, Newport, Pretty Made Cakes is a bespoke wedding cake designer offering loving couples exquisite, one-of-a-kind creations for their celebration. If a classic white cake would suit your traditional occasion or you want to surprise your guests with something vibrant and contemporary, no matter the vision, we can make it come to life. Using only the finest ingredients and an eye for detail, perfection is ensured each and every time. Create a magical moment with your sweet confection at the centre with the care and creativity of Pretty Made Cakes.

As a dedicated Husband and Wife team, we care about you and your big day, so with that in mind, we only take one order a week to ensure that your big day receives the sole attention it deserves.

Where do we travel to?

Based just moments from the M4, we cover a wide area, including South and West Wales, the South West, Cotswolds and Shropshire.

What other services and products do we offer?

Making a booking with us means that not only will we provide the cake for the big day, but we will personally deliver and set up the cake, liaise with the florist and venue over any specific arrangements and only leave once everyone is happy with the cake. As well as the cake, we also make toppers, cupcakes, wedding favours, and much more. The more notice we have the better, we will check the date of your big day in our diary for availability right at the start of our consultations with you

Yes, delivery is calculated per mile, the cost will be included in the final quote

How many tiers can my cake be?

Your Wedding Cake can be up to 3 tiers

How many flavours can I have on my cake?

You can have a different flavour for each cake tier. We are very happy to discuss your ideas and you will have the opportunity to purchase a tasting box with your choice of flavours

What are the forms of payment?

Payments via Paypal, we will provide invoices and receipts

What areas do you cover?

From our location we cover South Wales, Mid Wales and West Wales, South West (Bristol to Bath), the Cotswolds, Shropshire and Devon

Exceptional in every way!


We ordered our wedding cake from Debs at Pretty Made Cakes last year and couldn’t have been more impressed with every aspect of the process and the cake itself. From start to finish, Debs was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our cake perfect. Whether it was hand delivering several tasting samples, to the design drawings, we had the smoothest experience. The final result was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. We’d not hesitate to highly recommend Pretty Made Cakes!

Perfect Wedding Cake

We used Pretty Made Cakes last year for our wedding and we were not disappointed. Deborah designed and created the perfect cake just for us. We were so pleased, Deborah was very attentive and helpful she has the best creative ideas too. All our guests complimented the beautiful cake too and we all agreed it was delicious. We would definitely recommend Deborah and Pretty Made Cakes to anyone looking for the perfect cake for their perfect day.

Our beautiful wedding Cake

Wow! First Debbie at Pretty Made cakes is such a professional, well mannered , patient & an amazing artist talent when it comes to her cake designs. We wasn’t amazed & blown away by our wedding cake, from the beautiful design to the delicious tastes, full of flavour, moist & every guest seemed to talk about it with positiveness & asked for their details, which we kindly supplied. We Shall certainly be using them for our future birthday celebrations , oooo yes she does wonderful birthday designs too.

Pretty made Cakes comes highly recommended from us , rest assure you won’t be disappointed.

Incredibly talented

We chose Pretty Made Cakes to make our Wedding cake and I can honestly say that it was incredible. The service provided by Deborah is second to none. The attention to detail is flawless and nothing was too much trouble.
Our guests all complimented the flavour and design.
I cannot thank & recommend Pretty Made Cakes enough, truly a lovely, small business with a great deal of talent.

Excellent service and product!!!

I can’t recommend Debs and Pretty Made Cakes enough. As you know getting married is already very stressful but not only she’s so kind and caring that puts us at easy when choosing something so important, she’s also very knowledgeable and know what to offer. And it was hard to chose between so many yummy flavours!!! On the big day everything was really smooth and the guests really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend her!!!

Stunning wedding cake

Thanks so much for our wedding cake Deborah! It tasted and looked amazing! Deborah listened and understood our wedding theme and taste preferences. On our big day the cake was better than we imagined and our guests were wowed with how it looked and tasted! Nothing was too much of a bother so thanks again Deborah! I was super impressed with every aspect of my cake, from discussing what we wanted initially to the delivery and set up on the day.

I had a lot of special touches that I wanted to be incorporated into the cake, and nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic service

Deborah was recommended by my friend who couldn't stop raving about this amazing wedding cake she'd tasted at a recent wedding. From initial contact right through to my special day, Deborah couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating. I was impressed with how dedicated she was to ensuring that she understood my requirements and created a beautiful, delicious wedding cake that was the perfect centrepiece. She really made me feel like she cared. Definitely recommend!!
