Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Krazi Kakes following both our experience on the wedding day and the way our complaint was handled afterwards.

During our wedding breakfast, we were suddenly told that the cake was tipping and needed to be cut urgently. My wife and I had to leave our meals, which subsequently went cold, and rush through what should have been a relaxed and special part of our reception. Instead, the cake cutting became stressful and panicked, and it cast a real shadow over an otherwise wonderful day.

The professional catering team who assembled the cake later provided a written statement confirming that the tiers had already dropped when removed from their boxes, the middle dowels were protruding, the middle tier had sunk, and the cake appeared soft and unstable. They then had to use wooden utensils and cocktail sticks in an attempt to stop it tipping further.

What has upset us almost as much as the cake itself is the response we received afterwards. From the outset, we felt that our concerns were dismissed and responsibility was repeatedly placed elsewhere. Despite providing a photograph, our own account and a detailed statement from the caterers, no responsibility was accepted and no refund or goodwill gesture whatsoever was offered.

We were also repeatedly told that we should have contacted the baker immediately when the problem arose. We found this expectation unrealistic and upsetting. We were in the middle of our wedding breakfast, hosting more than 100 guests, and had just been told that the cake needed to be cut urgently. Our priority at that moment was dealing with the situation and trying to salvage an important part of our wedding, not stopping everything to gather evidence and begin a complaint.

We fully understand that problems can occasionally happen. Had there been some acknowledgement of the impact this had on our wedding, an apology that felt genuine, or even a modest goodwill gesture, we would have been willing to bring the matter to a close. Instead, we were simply told that no resolution would be offered and that this was the final position.

This was our wedding day, not an ordinary celebration where the moment could simply be recreated later. We are extremely disappointed by both the condition of the cake and the dismissive way our complaint was handled. For those reasons, we do not recommend Krazi Kakes.

We ordered a Nikah cake from Krazi Kakes and were very happy with the result. The cake looked lovely, tasted incredible and was exactly what we had asked for. Thank you for making our day special! x

Odi was fantastic from the start. She designed the perfect cake for us and communicated well throughout. We went for a coffee and Baileys cake in the end and it was so beautifully decorated, in keeping with our colour scheme, and absolutely delicious. I didn't have much to take home, which says it all. Would highly recommend!!

We ordered 100 cupcakes for our Golden Wedding anniversary party to include a Gluten Free option. There was a choice of flavours and the icing on top was not the sickly sweet one you usually get on cupcakes, it was a velvety texture that did not overpower the flavour of the cake. I would definitely recommend Krazi Kakes for your special occasion.

I ordered some cake from Krazi_kakes; not only were they awesome and fluffy, she was quick to reply my messages and accommodated my order; even though the notice was short. I will definitely order again.
