How many weddings have you been to, excited to try the cake only to find that while it looked amazing it tasted, well honestly not great so you added your slice half-eaten to the growing collection of abandoned plates?
You don’t want that for your wedding.
You want your guests to be amazed when they see your dream cake brought to life, fall silent with happy smiles as they eat it, and fight over the last few pieces.
And that's why I'm here - I’m Louise, and I've been bringing cake dreams to life from my home kitchen in Swindon since 2016.

If you're getting married in 2026 there's still time to book your cake with me. I have some availability in August and September. October is full, but there's still space in November and December too. So get in touch to tell me your date, venue and what you're looking for.
Services available
Styles: My specialty is delicious tiered cakes with delicate sugar florals. But I'm happy working with fresh or silk flowers if that better suits your vibe or budget, or putting my piping skills to good use to create a cake in the popular "Lambeth" style.
Cupcakes and favours: I offer cupcakes in a range of flavours and designs, from a simple butter cream swirl through to more intricate piped flowers. I also offer hand-decorated biscuit favours which can be personalised for your special day.
Stand hire: I have a range of stands and separators available to hire that will elevate your cake and perfect the look.
How we will work together
Step one: Save the date
The first step is to secure your date in my diary. If it’s available I’ll take a small initial payment as a booking fee. Then you can relax and tick “find cake designer” off your never-ending to-do list.
Step two: Think about my ranges
I understand that you have a lot to think about planning your wedding, so let me make the cake part easy. I offer three ranges designed to suit your needs…
Choose SIMPLY DELICIOUS for classic flavours with ribbons and silk flower decoration.
Choose SOMETHING SPECIAL to take it up a level with handmade sugar roses and foliage plus a greater selection of flavours.
Or choose TRULY UNIQUE if you want a cake that’s fully customised and, well, truly unique for your special day.
Step three: Let’s talk cake
Around six months before your wedding, when more of your plans have come together, we’ll talk about your cake.
For a SIMPLY DELICIOUS cake or SOMETHING SPECIAL I’ll check the details are still correct and you can choose to add a sample box or consultation and tasting.
All TRULY UNIQUE designs include a consultation and tasting as standard so I’ll send you a link to book. We will discuss your vision for the day. You will tell me what you do and don’t want to include in the design so that I can plan your perfect cake. You will also sample the flavours you’re considering sharing with your guests. I’d put money on you asking for my super lemony cake, and probably the light yet rich chocolate. But don’t be afraid to try the quirky options like white velvet with raspberry or tiramisu.
Step four: Have your cake and eat it!
Enjoy the cake of your dreams that wows you and your guests from first sight to the final bite.

Louise has been a pleasure to work with. She's easy to discuss ideas with, friendly, and passionate about what she does. She was great through all the planning. We had a lot of freedom with icing finishes and decoration. We had great fun discussing flavours and trying samples.
The cake visually was stunning.

Fabulous service and delicious cakes
Beautiful cake inside and out!
We initially went to Louise’s house for our cake tasting, which turned out to be a lovely way to spend a weekend morning. We sampled three different flavours and, unsurprisingly, couldn’t choose between them, so decided on a three-tier cake with all three: lemon drizzle, salted caramel and coffee cake.
We talked through the design with Louise and knew we wanted flowers and foliage incorporated into the cake. We took along our wedding invitations so Louise could colour match the flowers to our wedding colours, and she also suggested little extras like the light-up cake separators, which really took the finished design to another level.
Throughout the following months, Louise kept in touch with us to make sure we were still happy with everything and didn’t want to make any changes before she started making the cake. It was lovely knowing everything was being kept track of and that we had the opportunity to make any final adjustments.
On the wedding day, Louise delivered the cake herself between our ceremony and reception and set it up in the room. That personal touch was so lovely, and when we walked in and saw it for the first time, it genuinely brought a tear to my eye. It was absolutely perfect. The colours were exactly right and it looked even better than I had imagined.
The best review of the cake itself is probably that every single bit of it was eaten! All three flavours went down incredibly well with our guests.
We were also able to bring the beautiful sugar flowers home with us, which we’re hoping will last a lifetime as a little keepsake from our wedding day.
Louise was wonderful from the tasting right through to delivery, and created a cake that was not only delicious but completely personal to us. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

The perfect cake!
Communication with Louise was prompt and easy, her prices were upfront and it was easy to discuss options with her to find the right size - for the cake, end to end service and sugar flowers we were happy with the final cost and felt it provided value for money.
We had a fragile topper ornament that she was very mindful of, both in incorporating it into the cake design but also in how it would sit on the top tier as it was quite tall, making sure we factored that in when selecting the cake size. Louise kept us up to date in the run up of the wedding with cake progress, and also proactively shared a handing freezing guide, as she knew we wanted to keep a quarter of each tier for ourselves afterwards. She also worked well with the venue on the day, setting up and giving the venue all the boxes and instructions as well as flavour/allergen cards to display, and as the bride it was nice to have such complete confidence in her that I didn't feel the need to check in to make sure everything was okay.
I would happily recommend Louise to others, and use her again for other cakes.
Exceptional Stunning Ivory Wedding Cale
She understood perfectly what I had described, and detailed that in the contract, with the price, which I agreed.
We were working long distance from each other, which went very well, via FaceTime calls, and sending samples of the cake to try. I asked for a slight change to taste and texture, this was readily adopted, and the final cake was perfect for our wedding.
I had asked for quite specific Royal Icing , which is hard to find a cake maker prepared to offer this, it was no problem, and she produced a perfect Ivory Royal Iced cake, with beautiful etching to match my wedding dress.
The finished cake, was stunning, everyone attending loved it and the taste was excellent, combination of fruit cake, almond marzipan and royal icing.
As an older bride, marrying for the second time, the cake was Elegant and Timeless and was perfect at our small intimate wedding.
Beautiful. I would recommend Louise as being creative, flexible and easy to work with. I was fortunate enough to meet her on my wedding day, after she had set the cake up.
In addition as an extra, she made some amazing vanilla shortbread royal iced biscuits to match the colour of the bridemaid dresses with etched icing flowers on them, as wedding favours. Again beautiful.
