It is so exciting to be starting this new chapter, however, I know it can also be completely overwhelming. Sarah Nicholls Bridal aims to make your wedding hair and makeup experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible.
I’m Sarah, the owner and founder of Sarah Nicholls Bridal and I am a South-West-based hair and makeup artist who has been in the hair and makeup industry for a little over four years. If you are looking for a glowy natural makeup style with a boho twist I am definitely the right artist for you.

Ahead of your big day, Sarah Nicholls Makeup provides every bride/groom with a complimentary trial. Here, you can discuss your ideas and visions before Sarah enhances your natural beauty using top-of-the-range products. The trial also allows me to get to know you so we are able to work together in creating your perfect wedding day look.

“I would describe my style usually as being fresh, glowy skin with glam eyes mixed with a beautiful boho hairstyle. Although I absolutely love anything whimsical, creative or with a bit of an edge. I am a huge fan of an effortless updo or a pulled-out braid and I would say my makeup style has been very influenced by the classic Charlotte Tilbury glow.”
What to expect when you book me.
When booking with Sarah Nicholls Bridal, I aim to ensure all my clients feel comfortable and confident when leaving my chair. I want you to feel like you however like your most favourite self by the time I leave. I always try to provide a relaxed and friendly environment where you can feel safe and comfortable. All Bride or Groom bookings come with a trial included so that I am able to best understand your style for the day but will also as a way for us to get to know each other so you can feel more relaxed on your special day.

The perfect choice for our wedding day!
Onto the hair and makeup itself - this exceeded all my wildest expectations. She absolutely nailed the “soft boho” look I was going for. My hair remained in place throughout the day (including for our mini golden hour photoshoot later that evening), and the makeup made me feel truly “glowing”; I love how Sarah very much prioritises a natural beauty look, so I felt like me on the day but just an elevated version!
As I said, I could not recommend Sarah enough to anyone planning their wedding; you will not regret choosing her!

I had my hair and makeup trial at her home studio and she made me feel so comfortable. She was more than happy to explore options and genuinely just wanted to make sure I was completely happy with the results.
We made some tweaks based on the trial and my hair and makeup were both stunning on the day (it still looked incredible when I took it off in the evening)!
Sarah and the second artist arrived early and were so efficient getting through all of my bridesmaids. It was lovely to start the day feeling calm and relaxed.
