Rachel gave me such great advice during the pre-wedding hair and make-up trial - I'm not one for glam usually, and her help was so reassuring. She brought that same positive energy to my wedding morning in the Peak District, where she styled also styled my sister and two bridesmaids. Her ability to make people look incredible is inspiring and she is superb value. I would highly recommend Hair by Rachel Heffey.

I booked Lauren for our wedding in August 2025 after finding her through Instagram. I was initially drawn to her style and sent my enquiry through as soon as she released her 2025 dates. Lauren made me feel comfortable as soon as we met at my trial and knew exactly what would suit me. I was happy with this look and this is what we went with on my wedding day! Lauren is such a warm and friendly person she made us all feel so at ease on the day and all my girls have commented on how happy they were with their make up. Lauren made me feel so calm and confident, I was extremely lucky to be able to book Lauren for my wedding make up and I would highly recommend booking Lauren for your special day!

I truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible Gemma and Kelly were on my wedding day. From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calm, warm and joyful energy that instantly made the morning feel so special. They weren’t just my hair and make-up artists — they felt like part of us, laughing with us, chatting with the bridesmaids and helping create the most beautiful atmosphere while we got ready. My make-up was everything I had dreamed of and more. The soft glam look was flawless yet felt so light and natural on my skin. I still felt completely like myself, just the most confident and radiant version. I honestly have never felt more beautiful. My hair was perfect — and somehow stayed that way all day, which is amazing because my hair normally refuses to hold a curl and always wants to fall straight! Kelly worked absolute magic, and I loved it from the moment I saw it. One of the most special parts of the morning was watching my daughter, our flower girl, having her hair done. She felt so grown up and so special, and Gemma and Kelly were unbelievably kind and patient with her. She absolutely loved every second and looked beautiful. All of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and make-up, and everyone felt confident and looked stunning. Gemma and Kelly are not only incredibly talented but genuinely the loveliest people — warm, fun, caring and professional in every way. I absolutely adore the pair of them and cannot recommend them enough. They helped make the morning of my wedding unforgettable, and I will always be so grateful for the part they played in such a precious day.

Where do I start?! Fi made me feel and look like a princess. My makeup lasted all day and night, through the laughter and the tears. Not only did she do that but she also helped me get into my dress, helped with all the little things and calmed me down right before walking down the aisle. She truly was my fairy god mother and I couldn’t recommend her enough. I will always be so thankful to have her on my wedding morning

Lauren was FAB! I wanted something a little different and she delivered! I had messy braids along the sides, going into a fish tail plait. And then lots of little braids and curls with bits of gypsophilia mixed in. It was perfect 😍 She was also amazing at doing my bridesmaids hair too. Thank you so much! X

I can’t praise Jenni enough, throughout the process she was flexible and helpful which was super important as I live overseas so arranging a trial was tricky. On the day not only were my hair and make up amazing and just what I had imagined and wanted, she was a superstar. She helped with my dress and kept me calm and relaxed. She even ran around helping me find family members and with final little hitches taking all the stress out of my morning. I can’t imagine any bride finding a better hair and make up artist and overall amazing person!

Lindsay worked absolute wonders with my hair on the day of my wedding and I felt amazing on the day! Lyndsay is so calming and stress free, is so experienced, providing lots of good advice on choosing a best style, while allowing you the freedom to choose what you want too, and overall made the whole experience so very enjoyable, from the trial to the big day! And the best thing is, my very heavy hair did not move one inch during the whole day, but brushed out so easily at the end of the night!! Thank you so much Lyndsay, I would 100% recommend you to all brides! You were amazing and I can’t thank you enough!

Haleema did flawless makeup for my big day 😍 got so many compliments and it stayed for hours. Couldn't explain how happy I was thank you so much Haleema for doing an amazing job xx would deffo recommend girls out there to book you in 💖

Vicky looked after my bridesmaids and I so much. As someone who doesn't wear makeup everyday and has some rosacea I was worried about the whole thing but Vicky talked me through the makeup for my big day and gave me skin care tips to make sure my skin was the best it could be on the day. I arrived at our trial with hair clips and example photos and we talked through my options and she helped me arrive at the makeup style and hair do for the day. She arrived at our venue on time, had talked us through the schedule for all three of us getting hair and makeup done so we had a plan of action and she did a wonderful job. She was pleasant and very down to earth and helped make the process fun. I couldnt recommend Vicky more!
