With 34 years as a professional hairdresser, Rachel Heffey offers expert bridal hair across Liverpool, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, North Wales and the North West.

Trained by celebrated British hairdresser Andrew Collinge and formerly a freelance stylist in New York, Rachel later founded and led a team of six hairdressers and beauty therapists at her successful Liverpool city-centre salon. Her work was recognised and selected for an eight-page fashion feature in Tatler magazine, reflecting both her creative eye and technical precision.

Now based at her home salon in Knowsley Village, Rachel continues to deliver polished, modern and classic styling backed by more than 30 years of expertise. As a L’Oréal Professional Consultant, she works exclusively with professional products to create elegant, long-lasting wedding hair designed to look flawless throughout the day.

Bridal & Wedding Hair Services

Rachel styles bridal parties of three or more and is experienced in managing larger groups of up to eight or nine alongside the bride.

Rachel proudly offers an inclusive bridal hair service and welcomes enquiries from LGBTQ+ couples, non-binary and gender-diverse clients. Same-sex wedding styling can be arranged to suit individual preferences, including separate preparations where desired.

Requests for bridal party make-up can also be accommodated.

Bridal Trial & Consultation

Each bride receives a complimentary phone consultation prior to booking. That is followed by a 1 - 2 hour trial at Rachel’s home salon, where up to three style variations ensure the bride feels completely confident in her final look. Bridesmaids are also welcome to book for a trial.

With a wealth of experience working with all hair types and ages, Rachel provides professional guidance on styles that complement face shape, dress design and overall wedding aesthetic. Evening restyling or second-look hair can be discussed in advance if required.
