Welcome and congratulations on your engagement!
Eleanor Hart is based in Wakefield and has been a hair and make-up artist for 12 years. She went to the prestigious Delamar Academy in London in 2014. She is trained in all areas of hair and make-up but her passion is for Bridal. She works in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and most areas in North Yorkshire and Lancashire. She can go further afield if it is more of a city location.
Eleanor loves meeting new brides-to-be and finding out what their initial make-up and hair ideas are. She is warm and friendly and will put you at ease, as she understands that your wedding look is very important to you and that you want to feel confident, radiant but most importantly, look like yourself (but on a really good day!) Eleanor will skillfully help you choose and advise you on your exact style and look.
On the big day she will be calm and supportive; her brides have often remarked on how relaxed she is and Eleanor believes this is due to her many years practising her craft.

I charge for public transport. And just FYI I do have a travel card, so I get discounted travel! I don't charge for car mileage

Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
Depends on how much time we have and what time we start! But for example, if we started at 7am and the leave time was 12, I can comfortably do 1 bride and 3 bridesmaids FULL hair and make-up
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
I accept both card and cash

Would highly recommend!!!!
Eleanor is absolutely amazing! She did my hair for my wedding day, I couldn’t fault anything, she also did my mums hair and make up which she absolutely loved! Eleanor is so kind and caring and pays close attention to detail. Eleanor also makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend!

Eleanor is lovely and professional
Eleanor is so kind and caring and obviously loves what she does, her passion is clear for achieving the best possible outcome. I had 1 hair and make up trial and one hair trial before my big day and she fit me in after I gave her a list of options. On the day she had a quiet word as one of my bridesmaids wanted rather loud make up compared to my very subtle make up and toned it down a little to ensure I was star of the show, absolutely amazing job all round!

I chose Eleanor to do my wedding hair and make-up based on the great reviews she's got on Hitched - and now I'm going to add to those well deserved, fabulous reviews! She was responsive and professional from start to finish and delivered on everything I had hoped for!! As a 60 year old bride I was worried about whether someone could be sensitive to my skin and hair needs, but Eleanor was fantastic and was more than happy to do a second trial when I decided on a slightly different look! She then recreated it perfectly on the day! She has a lovely calm and friendly personailty and is truly fabulous at what she does! I can't recommend her enough!

Wedding hair & make up
Eleanor was absolutely wonderful on my wedding day. She did the hair and makeup for me and my sister, as well as my mum's makeup, and everything looked beautiful. I don't normally wear much makeup and had wanted a specific green eyeliner to match my shoes. I'd even bought the perfect shade, but then completely forgot it on the day! Eleanor was completely unfazed and somehow managed to recreate the look perfectly anyway.
She was calm, professional and helped make the morning feel relaxed and enjoyable. A special mention also to her dad, who kindly drove her to our venue in York. I couldn't have been happier with the results and would highly recommend her.

Simply the best
Eleanor was just amazing. So friendly from the outset, listening to what I wanted with professionalism and care. She made me feel so comfortable and made me look beautiful 🥰 very pleased with the result. Couldn't ask for a better service and couldn't recommend more highly 👌

Exactly who you want with you on your wedding morning. Eleanor is professional and incredible at hair and makeup whilst also being super friendly and just wonderful to have around on such a special morning.
My hair looked perfect all day and my skin looked flawless. Eleanor really makes you feel pampered and relaxed and my hair and makeup was even better than I had hoped for.
My bridesmaids were also really happy with their hair and makeup and commented on how lovely Eleanor is and the perfect person to have around on your wedding morning.

Better than I could have imagined!
I am so glad I chose Eleanor for my hair and makeup!
She was so friendly, and took the time to look at my Pinterest board and really plan how to create a 90s look without it looking like fancy dress. I loved the look she created and it went with my dress and the whole aesthetic so well. She was also super flexible when I decided to change my entire hairstyle 2 days before the wedding, and did an amazing job. She was also extremely calming and really put me at ease on the morning of the wedding, when I was very nervous and dealing with last-minute venue issues. She did the hair and makeup of my mum, sister and mother-in-law as well and they all looked stunning.
Communication was excellent throughout the process and Eleanor provided excellent value for money.

Fabulous Wedding Hair and makeup!
From the moment I met Eleanor I felt totally relaxed and in safe hands. Eleanor took notes and photos during my trial as reference, so that my hair and makeup was perfect on the day. She also did my friends hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaid's hair. And at incredibly short notice she also did my sisters hair. We were all delighted with the results.

I can't thank Eleanor enough for her fabulous work on the most important day of my life. Not only did Eleanor do an amazing job with my hair and make up, she was also incredible at being relaxed herself, which helped me keep relaxed (as much as possible anyway on a wedding day!)
