Wedding Hair specialist and award winning stylist located just outside of Maldon in Essex.
Louise Heard Hair Bridal has been specialising in creating unique, timeless hairstyles for over 10 years in the industry, covering all over Essex, Norfolk, Kent, and surrounding areas. And I also cater for abroad weddings too!
I work closely with you to create the perfect styles to suit you, your dress and your venue to envision your desired look for your wedding day. Whether it is a structured updo or a more relaxed boho style, I can create all looks for you. I will help give you confidence and take away your nerves before you walk down the aisle.
Services
Louise Heard Hair and Bridal offers a variety of services, including onsite trial appointments as well as relaxed trial appointments at my salon, beauty timelines, and group bookings. I can even stay with you right up until you say, 'I do,' should you need any last-minute touch-ups or adjustments. I will also provide additional hours by request. A wide range of hairstyles is available, from vintage and classic to bohemian and natural, allowing you to find an aesthetic you really love.

The Perfect Wedding Morning Stylist
Louise was amazing from consultation to the end of the wedding morning. Our hair looked stunning and all held so well throughout the day. She was so lovely and so easy to talk to, nothing was too much of a problem for her and her work really is incredible! Myself and my 4 bridesmaids all had very different styles and hair lengths, yet she managed to work with all of them with ease and create beautiful looks for us all. Would 100% recommend her to anyone!

Absolutely amazing!
Having just had the pleasure of having Louise do mine and my bridesmaids hair, I would honestly recommend her to anyone! She is truly amazing and so so friendly, everyone felt so at ease with her and we felt so comfortable putting our full trust in her!

WonderWoman hair stylist !
Louise was wonderful! She was communicative from the moment we met, through the hair trial and the weeks leading to the wedding day to double check arrangements etc. I love how relaxed she is, it certainly made me feel calmer on the big day as well as knowing I was is safe and talented hands for getting ready. I was so pleased with my overall look and to share the morning with such a friendly and lovely person! As I said, wonderful! Cannot thank her enough.

Fantastic!
Amazing work from Lou, she made sure we all loved everything we had and I definitely was made to feel like a princess all day. Hair stayed in all day and everyone looked fantastic!

Bridal Hair
Louise was so lovely, she understood exactly what I wanted and got it perfect on the trial. Mine and my bridesmaids hair stayed perfect all day and night! Have already recommended to my friends getting married next year

Louise was amazing from day one, very responsive and approachable. Throughout the process, she was very accessible and was happy to assist with any questions I had. Louise provided trials and was flexible as possible with these dates. On the day, Louise had 8 ladies to complete and did this in a timely manner and the end products were amazing. All the bridesmaids were very happy with their hair styles and provided touch ups if needed. Louise went above and beyond and stayed until the last possible moment to take photos and be there to assist me with anything I needed, was a real comfort. Louise was a big part making our day so special and I would highly recommend her services! Will certainly use Louise again for any upcoming events xxxxx

Wouldn’t look anywhere else!
Lou has been nothing but amazing! From the start of asking for a quote low has been flexible with wedding party members dropping out and joining of wanting their hair done. She helped members of the wedding party who didn’t have their hair done with their hair accessories as well! She brought nothing but amazing vibes for the morning and honestly couldn’t recommend her enough!

Fantastic!
I couldn’t thank you enough Louise. You were there from a whopping 5 in the morning until around 1 in the afternoon. Louise very good with myself and my bridesmaids, the hair was absolutely stunning! She even helped me get ready and saw me off in the car, as my parents were late. She kept me calm throughout (I was a mess) and was just the sweetest! She even climbed under my dress to raise my garter!

Just fabulous!
I could not fault Louise as my wedding hairstylist. She was super helpful from the start and made the whole process so straightforward. I got married back in July and even before the day, Louise was communicative and helped me decide what would look good with my dress. I did a trial and although the first style I chose was beautiful, it didn't really suit my hair type, so she was happy to go back to the drawing board with me and ultimately the style we decided on was just perfect. Louise was happy to book another trial and we were both happy with how it turned out. On the day she was the calm in the chaos and put everyone at ease. Each of my bridesmaids wanted different styles, all of which she executed beautifully and prepped so they stayed all day. Everyone was really pleased. My hair was exactly what I asked for, even better than the second trial and I ended up keeping it in for 2 days after the wedding because I didn't feel ready to take it out. If you're looking for someone professional but personable and feels like part of the party, I would most definitely recommend Louise. I really can't thank you enough!

Absolutely amazing
I could not recommend Louise enough. She was an amazing person to have with us, not just doing our hair (which was phenomenal) but also helping keep people calm, sort out veils and making sure I (the bride) was always okay. She was easy to communicate with and always responsive to any questions I had, she's fantastic.

Incredible hair stylist
Louise was absolutely incredible for our wedding day. She looked after my hair in the year lead up to ensure it was in the best condition, style and colour that I wanted for the wedding day. I had a trial with her for the style on the day and she had some brilliant ideas from my vague description of what I wanted and it looked amazing! On the day she was very punctual and did the bridesmaids, me (the bride) and the two mothers. Everyone’s hair looked amazing!
