Gosh Sophie where do I even begin. From start to finish Sophie was so professional and reliable, and I fully respected her knowledge and skill. Absolute miracle worker with all of my bridal party. Even keeping my aunt calm when she became a bit light-headed or giving suggestions for hair styles as we were getting ready. Sophie listened to what I wanted whilst also giving expert suggestions. I had a bridal makeup trial a couple of months before the wedding and Sophie listened to me and delivered when I asked on the wedding day if we could apply black eyeliner as this felt more me. Her style is incredible and all of my bridal party looked stunning. The makeup stayed perfect though tears, rain and humidity. Sophie helped me with my veil as well as showing my bridesmaid how to fasten the many buttons down my dress. She was a fun yet calming presence all morning. I've honestly never felt so beautiful in all of my life, thank you for making my 7 year old inner self, dressed up in the wedding fancy dress I insisted my dad get me, look like the Disney princess I always wanted to be. ❤

I was part of the bridal party getting ready recently and Sophie just made the whole atmosphere calm with her presence. She did my make up exactly how I wanted it, and even recommended products to use for my skin type - going out her way to say that I'd be welcome to message her to talk through some products! She was a genuinely lovely person and even though I had to keep stopping her because of my back problems she was so patient with me. I felt beautiful on the day and that was thanks to Sophie. Sophie was my bridal make up artist for my wedding on Friday and wow, you absolutely exceeded my expectations! My make up lasted the whole day and I was gutted when I had to take it off. I’m not a big make up person and just wanted a natural glow and that’s exactly what Sophie created for me. I couldn’t have asked for anyone more perfect to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. Sophie was professional, understanding of my inexperience with beauty/wedding looks and also very aware of what would suit my colouring and hair type. Sophie is fantastic because you can feel her passion towards wanting to figure out exactly what you need for your occasion - she cares if you feel like yourself with someone else making you up. which is so rare. I truly believe she’s found her passion in life and that passion is enabling and encouraging joy for people during their most important crossroads - if you’re considering hiring her, you’d be crazy not to.

Couldn't recommend Sophie highly enough! As someone who doesn't wear much makeup I was nervous about the whole experience for my wedding day and wanted to still keep that natural look. From my trial to the morning of my big day Soph made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout. She is super organised, thoughtful and flexible and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to support me and my bridesmaids on my big day. Sophie made my whole bridal make-up and hair experience special, listened to me throughout and made me feel beautiful from when I had my trial to my actual wedding day. Sophie has been absolutely fantastic! I didn't know where to start when trying to find a makeup artist for my special day, as I'm quite pale and didn't want to look too different on the day!

On the day, Sophie went over my feedback from my initial trial and created a look that was 100000% what I imagined I’d look like on the day - I still felt like me, and the makeup lasted all day! I have quite textured and oily skin but Sophie must have used magic, that’s the only explanation because it just did not budge!

My young bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup too and my mum as well.

The most incredible and talented makeup artist! Sophie has been my absolute rock she is the most wonderful kind hearted lady with a heart of gold! Had the best time with Sophie on my wedding day. Sophie did my makeup and the bridal party hair. She was amazing at timekeeping and we were even early - my makeup stayed on all day and looked great. Such a nice person to spend the morning with, would definitely recommend

Sophie is the perfect wedding make up artist!
I found Sophie on Hitched and was drawn to her more natural and glowy style of make up. She’s so friendly and down to earth. My trial didn’t feel rushed at all and Sophie gave really good advice regarding skin care before the big day. She was very prepared and organised, providing a schedule beforehand of who was to be in her chair at what time!
My bridal party loved her and it honestly felt like I was having my make up done by a friend I’d known for years. She listened to all our individual wants/needs and we were all so happy with our final looks.
My make up lasted all day and no touch ups were required (which is a good job as I was too busy having fun to care!)

Oh where do you even start on writing a review for Sophie! No matter how much I write she deserves so much more and since I booked her I’ve not shut up about her I could write so much! Since I knew I was getting married I was straight on Hitched looking for a bridal artist and Sophie’s profile always had me going back, just her words and the way she came across on her profile was exactly what I wanted and then I looked at her instagram and that was it! I knew it was her I wanted as my bridal artist, she was everything I wanted looking at her work as I wanted a more soft/natural look and she was just everything I wanted as a person to get me ready for my big day. From the get go she was just really approachable and was there for you with any questions or concerns. She just gave me the vibes I wanted and I hadn’t even met her yet! Then I had my trial and from the first 5 minutes of meeting her I knew I made the right choice, she listened to EVERYTHING to the tiny small details and all in between and it was so nice being listened to. She gave suggestions and I explained the kind of make up I wanted, what I liked, didn’t like and she asked questions I hadn’t even thought of! And from all the info I gave and from showing her my inspo pictures she couldn’t have surprised me more. She absolutely smashed it. I loved it! I couldn’t stop looking at myself. She left giving me some skincare tips which was really appreciated and again didn’t even think of doing and I had a massive smile on my face after the trial! My big day came and I know I would not of been as relaxed and calm if it was not for Sophie, she is the reason I didn’t have a big panic. And as for my make up and hair on the day I looked in the mirror and it was the first time I thought “oh wow I actually look pretty” and that was all down to Sophie. It was just like my trial but somehow better? My skin was so much better from her tips she gave me too and my makeup and hair lasted all day and I was given so many compliments. There was not one bit I would have changed which never happens when I’ve had my makeup done in the past. I cannot recommend Sophie enough, I will never shut up about her. It was like just having your sister do your makeup and hair that is the way I can describe Sophie. She is just the calm presence you need on your wedding day and there if you need anything. I could not of been happier and I’m so over the moon she was my bridal artist, anyone would be lucky to have her. She is just a bright calming presence, wonderful and certainly special person and I really do hope our paths cross again. I honestly would not hesitate to recommend Sophie to any bride. She is wonderful, caring, understanding and also conducts her business with professionalism and precision. From the outset, she was very open and honest about the time needed for what I was asking for and delivered the perfect balance of offering suggestions and support and listening to my ideas. She made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease, which is SUCH an important factor on the morning of your wedding. We spent hours together and she is such a positive, bright and calming presence to have with you whilst getting ready. She also went above and beyond with helping to put my hair accessories in and even gave me a spare brush to help top up my make up if needed! However I can honestly say I did not need to touch up my make up once all day, as she uses amazing products and puts them on expertly. I cannot thank Sophie enough for everything that she did for me on my wedding day!
