Melanie was fantastic! I had a bridal trial in Bude, and then makeup on the day for myself, three bridesmaids and mum. She made every single one of us feel at ease, including those of us who have never/rarely wear makeup.
I really appreciated her soft glam approach and the quality of the products she used. I had so many compliments on the makeup and body glow. Her pricing was also transparent and amazing value! I had wind and rain on my wedding day and was impressed by how well the makeup held.
Melanie’s energy really added to the vibe of the morning - from getting on board with our music to bringing calm in the final preparations - I would highly recommend Melanie to other brides-to-be.

Could not recommend enough
Melanie from day one was fantastic. Having myself and 6 others to get through made me apprehensive of how it would turn out, but it could not have been better. Everyone looked incredible, and I have never felt so beautiful. She was there to do make up, but she gave so much more, she was a calming presence on the morning and put an incredibly anxious bride at ease.

The best MAU there is!!!
I booked Melanie to do our makeup for my wedding and from start to finish, Melanie was extremely professional. So bright and cheery, and made us all feel special. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were all blown away by the end result, our make up looked incredible. It was so beautiful and natural with the most amazing glow, honestly we couldn't have asked for anything better.
Melanie went above and beyond in that she even helped with the button holes, the flower girls bows, topping up drinks and even helped me into my dress. Im so very grateful for everything she did, and we all had such wonderful comments on how amazing our makeup looked.
Honestly, Melanie isnt just an amazing MAU, shes a friend you never knew you needed, who goes out of her way to help you have the perfect day. She really does care and I can honestly say that she played a massive part in making our day a memory we will cherish forever.

Couldn’t ask for more!
Melaine was amazing from trial to day of she made me feel comfortable and felt like part of the bridal team! I can be a little shy and she made me feel confident and beautiful, my make up was natural and close to what I wear day to day but looked flawless and lasted into the night.

Our Wedding
Mel from BlushBude was amazing! I was unable to do a wedding makeup trial due to timings but you’d never of guessed on the day. Mel Listened to all our request for our makeup and we all felt a million dollars we were done. I personally felt really radiant, beautiful and very comfortable in my makeup! I felt like me which was very important. We all really enjoyed having our makeup done and apart from topping up our lipsticks our makeup lasted the day so very photo fab!! I would highly recommend Mel not just for her amazing makeup skills but for how calm and relaxed she made us all feel too! It was a lovely, fun and relaxed experience!

My Wedding 2025
I contacted Mel at Blush for my wedding make up and I was so impressed with how quickly she sorted out a trial for me. She listened to what I wanted and was more than happy to adjust accordingly until I was completely satisfied! 😊
I loved the way the make up was very natural looking but still enough to enhance appropriately. I was very nervous on the day but she was so good at putting me at ease & her friendly and helpful attitude was second to none!
I think the pricing was reasonable when compared to others and I do think that how a make up
artist makes you feel is also as important as how good the final make up looks and Mel delivered on all levels.
She also very kindly gave me the details on an incredible hair dresser Hannah who did the best job on my hair and was equally as friendly!
I still use Mel now for other beauty treatments and Hannah for my hair so that is testament to their talents ☺️

Truly incredible wedding make up!
Melanie was absolutely amazing from day one. I am not someone who is super comfortable with makeup and glam but Melanie put me so at ease during the trial and the same was true of the wedding day as well. It was so lovely to have such a relaxed wedding morning and I truly felt amazing which is not something I feel very often. Melanie checked in on me in the weeks leading up to the big day and was nothing but supportive. Melanie also did my Mum’s make up for the day and she felt amazing! Whole heartedly recommend Melanie to anyone for a truly amazing experience and look - the nicest person and most talented MUA!
