My Wedding 2025
I contacted Mel at Blush for my wedding make up and I was so impressed with how quickly she sorted out a trial for me. She listened to what I wanted and was more than happy to adjust accordingly until I was completely satisfied! 😊
I loved the way the make up was very natural looking but still enough to enhance appropriately. I was very nervous on the day but she was so good at putting me at ease & her friendly and helpful attitude was second to none!
I think the pricing was reasonable when compared to others and I do think that how a make up
artist makes you feel is also as important as how good the final make up looks and Mel delivered on all levels.
She also very kindly gave me the details on an incredible hair dresser Hannah who did the best job on my hair and was equally as friendly!
I still use Mel now for other beauty treatments and Hannah for my hair so that is testament to their talents ☺️

Melanie was absolutely amazing from day one. I am not someone who is super comfortable with makeup and glam but Melanie put me so at ease during the trial and the same was true of the wedding day as well. It was so lovely to have such a relaxed wedding morning and I truly felt amazing which is not something I feel very often. Melanie checked in on me in the weeks leading up to the big day and was nothing but supportive. Melanie also did my Mum’s make up for the day and she felt amazing! Whole heartedly recommend Melanie to anyone for a truly amazing experience and look - the nicest person and most talented MUA! -

Wedding make-up
I couldn’t have been more delighted with my make-up on my wedding day. Mel made me feel and look like a million dollars! I’m not a confident person so this was huge for me. I also don’t usually wear a lot of make-up so I was a bit worried about having make-up done professionally, that it might feel too much, but it wasn’t at all, Mel managed to make me look natural and glam at the same time. Mel is not only the most wonderful make -up artist, she’s also just the most lovely, genuine and funny person. I was really nervous before my wedding and she helped put me at ease. An absolute privilege to have my make-up done by her. -

Melanie made me, my mum and all 4 bridesmaids feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day! She is the calm presence you need around on such a busy morning. Her experience is evident and her kit is extensive - all of us have different skin tones and types, yet we all felt glam and glowing. I wanted to feel like the best version on myself and Mel knew exactly how to make that happen effortlessly. Couldn't have asked for anything more, after my bridal make up trial she sent me advice for a pre wedding skin glow up which made such a difference in how I felt and looked. Nothing was too much trouble, she even helped me get into my dress! My make up lasted until I took it off the next morning...! -

I cannot recommend Blush Bude highly enough! I was anxious having been let down twice by a different makeup artist prior to my wedding. From the first email, Melanie put me at ease. Booking a call and answering all my questions.
On the day, she went above and beyond, helping with all the details, perfume, jewellery, bouquet, making the morning run so smoothly and stress-free. The makeup was beautiful, the best version of me and made my eyes pop, it lasted all day and night. Melanie exceeded all expectations. My Fairy Godmother
As someone who doesn't wear make-up I was nervous and out of my comfort zone booking an MUA, however meeting Melanie for the first time all of my nerves went away, she made me feel at ease the whole trial with her bubbly personality & wicked sense of humour. She offered copious amounts of patience & guidance as I had no real idea of what I wanted.
The morning of the wedding it poured down, but in came sunshine Melanie, helping me relax & feel at ease once again. Not once did I feel unlike myself even with makeup on, I felt a million dollars & the bridesmaids were over the moon too!
I honestly couldn't reccomend her enough. Melanie you're a diamond & amazing at what you do! I wish I could do the whole day again ❤️ -
