Having Brush do hair and makeup for my wedding was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Sian and Lucy are so talented as Hair and Make up artists, but also wonderful people and it was a joy spending the morning with them. Being mixed race and my mum black with Afro hair, its always worrying getting your hair and makeup done, skin tones normally don't match etc, MUAs may not have styled afro/curly hair before, but Sian and Lucy were amazing and everyone in the bridal party looked absolutely beautiful. Also, I'm very oily with sensitive skin and I didn't have to touch up my make up once, I danced all night and you couldn't tell, honestly they are make up magicians! I wouldn't hesitate recommending them, they're fantastic.

I can’t recommend brush beauty enough! Sian and her team are absolutely brilliant at what they do. As someone with thick straight hair, I was worried I’d struggle to find a style that suited me - anything I do to it and it instantly drops out. But to my amazement my curls lasted the entire day and even into the next morning. As for my makeup, it was perfect and looked just as good at the end of the night despite the 28 degree heat. For my bridesmaids, Sian and Lilly were just as attentive. When I’ve been bridesmaid in the past I’ve never had a choice over my makeup but everything was bespoke to them, and no request was too much. I felt the most confident I’ve ever felt and I know my bridesmaids felt the same.

What was also so nice is how comfortable Sian made me feel in terms of giving feedback. I really didn’t need to give much feedback as the look she created was amazing, but if there were tiny things like making my eyebrows slightly darker or brushing out my curls a bit more, I felt I could say them without worrying I’d offend her. When I did my trial she even left the room so that I could look at my makeup on my own, without any pressure. As someone who absolutely HATES going to the hairdresser for this very reason, and avoids it like the plague, I really appreciated the safe environment she created.

But more than anything Sian is just a wonderful human being. The kindest, loveliest person, she really put me at ease both during the trial and on the day. I really struggle with social anxiety so I woke up feeling quite on edge on the wedding morning, but she is so easy to talk to and instantly took my anxieties away. Sitting with her and my bridesmaids having a good old chat was such a memorable part of the day. As mentioned, I’ve been a bridesmaid a few times before and it’s never been nearly as relaxing, and I put this down to her lovely demeanour!

From the very first preview, Sian was super lovely, fun, and so easy to chat to. She made me feel completely comfortable while we explored my bridal look and tried different hair accessories. I had been following Brush on IG long before booking with Sian, and there was honestly no question I would’ve had anyone else on my wedding morning.

Sian and Sam honestly are exceptional. From early communications prior to trial, trial and the big day. Everything was seamless. Every question answered and reassurance given. My trial was such a lovely experience, Sian is so so friendly and an absolute natural pro. My make up and hair was perfection at the trial and on our wedding day.

We got married in November this year, it rained all day, and my make up did not budge. Everyone in the bridal party looked flawless and felt amazing. Sian and Sam were everything and more on the morning. I would genuinely book with them again for occasions if that’s a thing!

Sian is an absolute star. She took the inspiration photos I gave her and created the most perfect hair and makeup look for my wedding. There are no words in which to describe how amazing a job the brush beauty team did throughout our entire wedding process! The professionalism and dedication to the craft alongside the calming nature of Sam and Zara on my wedding day was truly perfect. I met Sian when I was a bridesmaid earlier in the year and the team provided an exceptional experience for both events and I was confident from the get go that I had picked the right team for the job. Both Zara and Sam captured my dream wedding look straight away! And Sian and Sam also created a gem of a bridesmaid look and bridal look for my friend! I've used Sian before so I didn't hesitate to book her when it came to my wedding. Our trial was perfect, she listened to what I wanted and adjusted the makeup to match that. I felt at ease with her and didn't doubt what my wedding and pre-wedding looks would be like. On the day, she was friendly, complimentary and listened to me rant when it was chaos outside the room. I had a lovely experience with Brush Ltd. Candra did a beautiful job on my bridal hair and my two bridesmaids and Sian travelled quite some distance to come and do my nails. She also did my daughter and was incredibly patient and friendly. Everyone I dealt with was so flexible and considerate and it was clear they all loved their jobs.
