I booked Gemma for hair and make up for myself and a mix of hair/make up and both for some of my bridesmaids. From the preview, she really took the time to get to know my style and the vision I was going for. As someone who doesn’t wear make up often, Gemma made me feel so relaxed, comfortable and beautiful by keeping it natural but elevated. I have sensitive skin and Gemma was so careful with what products we could use that wouldn’t cause a flare up. On the day itself, Gemma was such a calm energy and her timings were bang on.

Gemma and her team provided hair and make-up for myself, my mother, and my four bridesmaids for my wedding. Gemma listened to exactly what I wanted and helped create my vision, responding flexibly to any requests and adjustments after the trial. Gemma and her team were very personable and fit right into our morning helping us all feel relaxed, and importantly, we were ready on time!

Gemma was genuinely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm, friendly energy that immediately put me at ease. She made me feel beautiful, and she somehow managed to keep the whole morning running smoothly despite how large my wedding party was. Her schedule kept everything on track and eased any anxieties.

Choosing a hair and makeup artist felt really overwhelming, I didn’t know where to start with my decision. I’d messaged a few MUAs but Gemma stood out right away. She was so friendly, kind, reassuring, and her work is absolutely stunning.

Gemma was recommended to me by a good friend and I immediately realised why! From day 1, Gemma was super lovely to communicate with - being responsive and flexible. At my trial I felt so comfortable with Gemma - we chatted through what I was after (natural make-up and wavy hair) and Gemma got it spot on for hair and make-up first time! As I had 8 bridesmaids, Gemma also sourced two additional hair and make-up artists - both were also excellent and really cost-effective. On the day of my wedding Gemma, Olivia and Hannah arrived early to set up and just cracked on calmly among all the wedding chaos to work their magic within the timetable Gemma had created (tricky with so many of us). Gemma was excellent at just keeping a really calm, professional and friendly vibe and I felt in such great hands. The end result was even better than at my trial and I just loved the end result for all of us! We had a mix of hair styles between us - up dos, half-up, simple waves - everyone looked beautiful! I can't recommend Gemma enough if you want a professional, calm and super talented hair and make-up artist for your big day!

I don’t know where to even start, Gemma is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone who will listen.

First, Gemma’s hair and makeup skills are incredible, she has this great intuitive ability to create looks that compliment your unique vibes. It’s honestly incredible, I have never looked better, both at my trial and on the day. All day I got compliments ranging from I looked beautiful and like a princess, a relative even said I looked angelic! All vibes that I didn’t know I wanted to achieve until I got the compliments. Both hair and makeup lasted all the way through to the early morning.

Secondly, and perhaps even the most important element is Gemma’s calm manner and professionalism. She really helped me to shut out the chaos of the wedding morning (especially as we did our own florals and decorations), and even managed to keep me chilled through pre wedding butterflies. Getting ready with her felt like getting ready with a really chilled older sister, who has seen it all before and because she brings so much expertise, you just feel in safe hands.

Honestly I cannot thank Gemma enough. She really made the day!
