Gemma was recommended to me by a good friend and I immediately realised why! From day 1, Gemma was super lovely to communicate with - being responsive and flexible. At my trial I felt so comfortable with Gemma - we chatted through what I was after (natural make-up and wavy hair) and Gemma got it spot on for hair and make-up first time! As I had 8 bridesmaids, Gemma also sourced two additional hair and make-up artists - both were also excellent and really cost-effective. On the day of my wedding Gemma, Olivia and Hannah arrived early to set up and just cracked on calmly among all the wedding chaos to work their magic within the timetable Gemma had created (tricky with so many of us). Gemma was excellent at just keeping a really calm, professional and friendly vibe and I felt in such great hands. The end result was even better than at my trial and I just loved the end result for all of us! We had a mix of hair styles between us - up dos, half-up, simple waves - everyone looked beautiful! I can't recommend Gemma enough if you want a professional, calm and super talented hair and make-up artist for your big day!

I don’t know where to even start, Gemma is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone who will listen.

First, Gemma’s hair and makeup skills are incredible, she has this great intuitive ability to create looks that compliment your unique vibes. It’s honestly incredible, I have never looked better, both at my trial and on the day. All day I got compliments ranging from I looked beautiful and like a princess, a relative even said I looked angelic! All vibes that I didn’t know I wanted to achieve until I got the compliments. Both hair and makeup lasted all the way through to the early morning.

Secondly, and perhaps even the most important element is Gemma’s calm manner and professionalism. She really helped me to shut out the chaos of the wedding morning (especially as we did our own florals and decorations), and even managed to keep me chilled through pre wedding butterflies. Getting ready with her felt like getting ready with a really chilled older sister, who has seen it all before and because she brings so much expertise, you just feel in safe hands.

Honestly I cannot thank Gemma enough. She really made the day!

Gemma did my make up for my wedding, as well as for my 3 bridesmaids and my mother. She was really communicative, both on the day and on my trial and provided a schedule for the morning ahead of time so I knew how best to prep with my bridesmaids in terms of timing. She has perfected soft make up for bridesmaids - I felt really beautiful on the day without feeling overdone, and I felt like she really took my wishes into consideration both in the trial consultation and on the wedding day.

Gemma did my wedding hair and make-up for my May 2025 wedding and it was such a lovely experience!
