Our Perfect Day!
We wanted a small, relaxed and classy wedding and this is exactly what we got at Wakehurst Place. The staff were amazing, providing us with help and guidance throughout the planning stages and were on hand on the day to make sure everything went smoothly. We only had 17 guests at our wedding and the venue worked well for this small number of guests. The grounds look really beautiful in our wedding photos. We got married in late June and the walled flower garden provided an amazing back drop to our photos. We are both really pleased we chose Wakehurst Place to get married. It is a beautiful venue, the service provided by staff was brilliant and it was also great value for money. We have some really lovely memories of our day.

The Perfect Day!
We wanted a simple, relaxed and personal civil Ceremony with a bit of style and Wakehurst provided this in abundance. The Mansion house is absolutely beautiful, with views out onto the lawn and gardens. We must have had one of the only perfect hot sunny days of 2012 and I could not have wished for a more perfect setting. We only had the ceremony at Wakehurst place as we had a very small wedding with 20 guests and our young daughter to look after so I thought it may be seen as less important but Elisa made us feel so welcome and advised us on every aspect of the day, offering us a room to feed our daughter in and giving us all the time we wanted to mill around the gardens and take photos. Elisa and the rest of the staff made us feel very special and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend wakehurst place for a wedding, the venues setting as well as Elisa and her team helped make it the most perfect day.

A first class service in a dramatic setting.
Having searched for nearly a year, Paul and I knew we had found the perfect venue to hold our Wedding Reception. We chose the Mansion House at Wakehurst Place. It stands so tall and grand set in the beautifully maintained gardens. Katie and her team were so helpful during the planning. We were married in June. On our Wedding day the Wakehurst Team guided us through effortlessly. Accompanied by the resident ducks and geese, the Patio and Lawns set the scene for our Champagne Reception. The Dining Room was so exquisite, it took our breath away, and the Gallery was perfect for our evening music. The ornate Hallway was a hive of activity, and the Study became a country house bar. The Butlers delivered a first class service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Because everything was under control, it enabled Paul and I to thoroughly enjoy our Wedding Day. We received so many compliments from our guests saying how gorgeous it all was. Our Wedding day was perfect. Wakehurst Place delivered a dramatic setting. It was elegant, sophisticated, and exquisite. I strongly recommend Wakehurst Place for anyone looking for a very special venue.

Amazing Day
Now obviously we are going to be very biased and say what an amazing venue, food, service we received however if this is what our guests also said then it must certainly be true!!! We would definitely recommend this venue due to the staffs efforts to detail making our day so wonderful. The venue is truly exquisite and we could not have asked for anything more - definitely a day you will never forget!!!!

i had my wedding reception here at wakehurst place, it wasan amazing day thanks to everyone at wakehurst, the venue and the grounds are spectacular. the staff were all really friendly and helpful down to the last detail, this venue is highly recommended for anyones speical day!

We had our wedding reception at Wakehurst Place in May. We were planning this wedding from abroad but had no problems at all. Katie answered all our queries promptly and helped us along the way. It was a breeze. The staff were all lovely. They took care of everything and we enjoyed a stress-free and wonderful time with our guests. The mansion is such a beautiful house and the grounds are just amazing. Our photographer was very excited about photographing our wedding at this beautiful venue. We had so many lovely photographs. The food and service were excellent and all our guests loved the venue and everything else.

Beautiful location, great service, wonderful day
I fell in love with Wakehurst place when we first went to see it. I knew straight away this was going to be the place I was going to get married in, so much so I actually started to cry. It truly was perfect. The service I received from Katie and Caroline during the run up to the wedding was second to none. They were both very attentive and extremely supportive. We had to make a few changes here and there and they were both so helpful I really was impressed. Katie took all the stress out of the organising and on the day made sure everything ran smoothly (so much so that one of my guests thought I'd hired her as a personal wedding planner!). I have to make a special mention of the food - it was excellent, really was superb and again on the day when we had a few of the little guests not eating (my 18 month old niece) they happily accommodated her requests! During the wedding the staff were really helpful to all the guests including clearing up after the little ones ! I highly recommend Wakehurst place for a picture perfect venue, great service and excellent food. I will always go back there for visits as it has a special place in my heart.

The Perfect location for our wedding day!
The first time we visited Wakehurst Place we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. The Mansion house and gardens are stunning and provided us with lots of lovely photos! Katie and her team couldn't have done more to ensure the day ran smoothly and the gardens were perfect after a night of bad weather! We would definitely recommend Wakehurst Place as a wedding venue!

After viewing Wakehurst Place, my partner and I just fell in love with it! The mansion is spetacular, and being surrounded by a stunning lake and pretty gardens made it even more perfect. Katie and Caroline were fantastic through the planning stages and on the big day! The food is outstanding, waiters very polite,glasses were always topped up and never went empty! Beautiful place for a wedding
We had a really lovely wedding at Wakehurst Place. The house and gardens are stunning, the food was very good and the service excellent. We particularly appreciated the way the organisers took care of everything and allowed us to relax and enjoy our day. Everything was so perfect that we did not even notice the bad weather, and had a beatiful drinks reception in the hall and library. We would thoroughly recommend Wakehurst Place for a wedding. Wakehurst’s Place Elizabethan Mansion came to life
Our daughter Ceri married Andrew Morgan at Wakehurst Place on 17th April. A day that turned out to be a beautiful sunny spring day with a clear blue sky – no vapour trails! Our guests commented on the fabulous location, the catering and the fantastic service provided by the staff. We were challenged by the Icelandic volcano preventing some guests from travelling on time. This resulted in last minute removal of some place settings, only for two to be restored very soon afterwards, with the surprise arrival of close relatives from New Zealand! All this was managed very quietly and efficiently by the Wakehurst team. The mansion house really comes alive when it is set out for wedding celebrations and the Wakehurst team helped us party until very late that evening. It was a fabulous day.
