About

Warmwell House is a Jacobean manor house in the stunning Dorset countryside. Providing accommodation for up to 24 guests in beautifully appointed bedrooms this is the perfect venue for a weekend destination wedding. The extensive grounds, church and Coach House are all perfectly suited to a traditional wedding and a small team of dedicated staff are on site throughout the weekend to help couples with every aspect of their celebration.

The perfect wedding

The weekend starts with an intimate tea for your house guests on Friday afternoon, often followed by a rehearsal and informal supper in the stunning Dining Room . On Saturday the 13th century church is a special place for the wedding ceremony but couples can also have a civil ceremony in the house or garden. A beautiful marquee in the Georgian Square Garden can cater for up to 120 seated guests. After the wedding feast couples make their way to the Coach House for dancing and bar service. On Sunday the house cook provides a fantastic full English breakfast to give guests plenty of time to relax, recover and re-live those special moments. With no rush to vacate the house there's penty of time for a quick dip in the pool or a walk on the estate before saying goodbye to your family and friends.

Unique elegance

With a maximum of ten weddings a year the owners and staff are able to offer couples a very bespoke and flexible service. There are no 'packages' as such since every wedding is unique but the owners are able to offer couples a well-researched list of suppliers and ample advice. An experienced Wedding Co-ordinator ensures everything runs smoothly on the day but couples are encouraged to put their own stamp on every aspect of the planning.

The perfect place for the happiest day ever!

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Warmwell House. The team were fantastically helpful throughout the planning period and the big day itself. The house and it's setting are absolutely stunning, and the facilities provided everything we needed and more. For us, having the church, house, gardens and party barn all within a short walk made sure the whole day ran seamlessly. We also loved the wonderful character and history of the venue, which made it feel really unique. Thank you so much for making our wedding feel so special!

Perfect wedding at magical Warmwell

We got married at Warmwell House in the summer of 2021 and had a perfect experience. Sam and Serena were wonderful from start to finish and provided us with everything we wanted from our wedding over a magical weekend. We pitched a petal marquee in the raised garden, had a live band in the lime garden, and relaxed at the pool on the Sunday. It was incredible, and the beautiful and unique venue really added to the experience.

Couldn’t recommend Warmwell house more highly!

Warmwell house is the most stunning venue for a wedding. We loved the combination of feeling we were in such a beautiful and grand setting but with great warmth. Sam and Serena were wonderful hosts with no problem too big or small to help solve! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience from this venue

We were absolutely delighted we chose Warmwell House for our wedding in July 2022. We wanted a venue that felt personal, friendly and intimate, and Warmwell House has the benefit of also being absolutely stunning. Sam and Serena, the owners and hosts, were so welcome and helpful from day one. If you're looking for a venue for an all night party until the early hours or where everything is done for you then this might not be the venue for you. But if you are willing to spend the time planning a special and intimate day then I can't recommend Warmwell House highly enough. There are so many lovely touches to discover, like the beautiful gardens, and we received so many complements from our guests on the venue. I'm so grateful to Sam & Serena for helping make it so magical.
