Thoresby Riding Hall is a truly amazing venue. We had our evening wedding reception here and Natasha, Lauren and all the team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. When you walk in the room it has got the wow factor with all the twinkling lights everywhere. We had the hot and cold buffet for 150 people and it was beautiful food and brilliant value for money. ( we were quoted a lot more at another venue which was nowhere near as beautiful) Our guests loved it and we got so many comments saying how gorgeous everything was. We definitely made the right choice having our wedding reception here.

We loved Thoresby park as soon as we saw it, the twinkling lights of the riding hall and the beautiful secret garden.
We were originally meant to marry in 2023 but when our daughter made a surprise appearance we had to postpone, and Thoresby were super flexible and accommodating!
Flash forward to 2025, we felt in very safe hands with Natasha answering all questions / queries very promptly. On the day things went really well (at least from my perspective) - if anything did go wrong I don’t know about it! They also sorted things before I even had a chance to think about them, such as background music between the harpist & dj and also cleaning up any spillages.
The whole day was perfect for us and we could just enjoy the day because we were so looked after by all of the staff. Highly recommend! -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. The unique, barn-style hall with sparkling fairy lights draped across the ceiling created the most magical and romantic atmosphere for our day—it truly felt like something out of a dream.
From the very beginning, everything was so well organised. The team took care of every detail and made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to relax and just enjoy the celebrations.
The catering was absolutely exceptional. Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the team went above and beyond to cater to all of our requests and dietary needs. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the BBQ & Cheeseboard was!
We feel so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here—it was everything we hoped for and more. We couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. -

Amazing start to finish. We moved our wedding at thoresby a year forward they worked with us every step. I was nervous and would ask loads of question go and see the staff the chef nothing was Eva an issue. The venue,staff,chef couldn't do anymore for us they went over and above. We had everything we planned for. Everyone who came to our wedding expressed how they loved the venue how you was able to sit out how nice the staff were. Food were amazing. 💯 recommend this venue. X -

We had our special day at Thoresby on the 25/05/25 and I can safely say our day was better than we could ever have imagined!
We had our ceremony in the secret garden and it was absolutely perfect, the sun was shining and it was the most stunning location, we loved this option when we looked round Thoresby as we’re very much outdoorsy people!
The Riding Hall took our breath away when we came to view back in 2023 and every single time thereafter, just stunning. We had so many comments on how beautiful The Riding Hall and grounds are from our guests.
The staff at Thoresby were so helpful in keeping us calm and taking all the stress away for us. Natasha was fantastic with making sure all our questions were answered!
We not only chose Thoresby for our venue because it’s so stunning but also because we were allowed our dog to be there all day with us, and our horse! My horse walked with me part way down the aisle in the secret garden (I bet most venues wouldn’t offer this!) and our dog was there throughout the ceremony too. They were so flexible with this and we are so grateful as this really made our day.
The price was also pretty much unbeatable anywhere else for us! For the amount of guests we wanted/decor/add ons, we really couldn’t get this anywhere else for what we paid! We also added on the option of garden games (this kept all the children, and adults entertained!).
So, we would 100% recommend Thoresby for any future couples, fantastic communication from Natasha, staff were so helpful, super flexible, great value for money and we had the best day ever!!

We recently had our wedding at Thorseby Riding Hall and it was absolutely perfect. The venue really is outstanding and has that “wow factor” that you want for your big day.
The Secret Garden is also stunning, and perfect for you and your guests to relax but also for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves!
Our guests (and us!) were stunned by the magical feel that Thoresby Riding Hall radiates. We had so many comments on how stunning the venue was, in particular the fairy lights which are SO photogenic and worked beautifully with our whimsical woodland theme.
Leading up to the big day, everything flowed seamlessly with the venue and the organisation and communication with Natasha was great. Quick responses and very accommodating. On the day, Natasha's flexibility and helpfulness made everything run smoothly, and the whole team went above and beyond to help us fully enjoy our celebration.
Thoresby holds a special place in our hearts as my mum’s memorial is at Sarah’s Woods. When booking our wedding we enquired about having photos taken at Sarah’s Woods, Natasha immediately sorted this for us and on the day she arranged for a team member to drive us up to the location. These photos mean a lot to us so we are especially grateful to Natasha for sorting this for us!
We would highly recommend Thoresby to any couples looking for a magical wedding venue. Thanks to Natasha and the team at Thoresby, we had a wedding to be proud of and will cherish forever! -

We recently held a joint 50th wedding anniversary party here. What can we say but fantastic. From our first visit to view the Riding Hall through to our Caribbean themed barbecue we received first class service. Natasha and her team could not have been more helpful. Excellent staff (couldn’t do enough to make sure the afternoon was exactly what we wanted), amazing food and a beautiful venue and garden. They even arranged perfect weather!! Highly recommend.
