Feather and Fern is a wedding florist based in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales town of Hawes, creating natural, romantic flowers inspired by the countryside surrounding us.
Founded by Shannon, Feather and Fern is all about relaxed wedding florals that feel personal, thoughtful and completely unique to each couple. From wild and whimsical bouquets to abundant tablescapes and delicate little details, every design is created with a natural, garden gathered feel in mind.
Working with couples across the country, Shannon offers a warm and friendly experience from the very beginning. Every wedding starts with a complimentary Zoom chat to talk through your plans, favourite flowers, colour palettes and ideas for the day — while getting to know you both along the way too.
After your consultation, Shannon carefully puts together a bespoke mood board and tailored quote, helping bring your vision to life in a way that feels true to you and your wedding day.
With a love for seasonal flowers, soft colour palettes and naturally abundant designs, Feather and Fern creates florals that feel relaxed, joyful and right at home in the countryside.

Hi, I’m Shannon!
I’m the owner and creative behind Feather & Fern Florist. I started Feather & Fern in 2020 and, since then, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of creating flowers for over 120 weddings.
I genuinely love weddings and everything that comes with them. My favourite moments are watching the bride and groom see each other for the first time at the altar and, of course, the speeches — there’s nothing quite like them!
When I’m not surrounded by flowers, I’m a Pisces, a lover of baking and happiest when I’ve got a DIY or craft project on the go. Give me something to make and I’m all over it.
Roses and hydrangeas will always have my heart, and although I love creating bouquets, my favourite wedding flowers to design are the table flowers. I love seeing all those little details come together and watching the flowers transform a space.
I’m definitely one of those people who can work all day and all night when I’m in my element — just make sure I’ve got plenty of coffee!
