Highly recommend

Our wedding was originally booked with Hestercombe directly and then got transferred to the Stables Hospitality team and we are extremely relieved that it was. Courtney immediately put us at ease and was easy to communicate with. The team were very accommodating and really made every effort to make our day special (including organising for the very heavy citrus trees to be moved inside the orangery specially for us).

They worked closely with us to create the menu that we wanted and everybody was very happy with the quality of the food on the day (a huge relief to us considering our day was fully vegan). Despite our wedding day falling on what was the hottest day of the year, everything went according to plan and we were all well looked after.

I would highly recommend the team at Stables Hospitality and Hestercombe is a wonderful venue to get married.

The best day of our lives

We held our wedding at Hestercombe, hosted by the amazing Stables team. All I can say is our day was 100% perfect start to finish - Courtney has been fabulous throughout and no request was ever an issue. We felt like we really got to make the day our own and all our guests had nothing but praise for the service, food, and flow of the day. The wedding breakfast was above and beyond your typical bland wedding food, we are so impressed at the quality being produced on such a large scale. Small touches and behind the scenes seamlessness are what made the day. We would 100% recommend.

Fantastic service, diverse venue

We had an incredible wedding reception at Hestercombe, following a church ceremony.
While planning, our wedding coordinator Julie was brilliant: always quick to respond, helpful, and experienced. Also, very reassuring during the stress of wedding planning!
All food and drinks were delicious, with vegan and meat options.
Everything was carried out seamlessly on the day thanks to Julie, the manager Dave and all staff. Hestercombe gardens and the venues are all stunning, and really characterful.
We had a lot of kids at our wedding. There was plenty of space for kids to play, and still be seen by parents, meaning everyone had a brilliant time. Also, very flexible for the evening. Room for DJ hire dancing, and great indoor and outdoor evening space for drinks and chatting, so guests could enjoy the best of both.
A really diverse, fun, wedding venue with a great team. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Hestercombe was the perfect choice for our wedding, the setting, food and staff were all impeccable. We couldn’t put into words how amazing our day was, and Julie and the team were phenomenal.

The most amazing experience - even with a changed date!

We hired Hestercome gardens for our wedding in June 2022. Unfortunately we had to move the date due to physical health concerns so we ended up getting married in October 2022. I cannot even begin to thank Julie and the others on not only changing the date, but how the date went as well. The whole day was out of this world and we did not even have to do anything, the day went smoothly! Thank you all so much, it really did make our day.

An incredible wedding venue

From start to finish Hestercombe were the perfect wedding venue for us.

Nothing was too big or too small. It rained on the day, so the drinks reception was moved to Hesterconbe House, but when the sun came out we went straight outside and the staff were easy with everything.

The venue for photos, guests, and having multiple spaces for the day was brilliant. I would highly recommend the venue to all couples.

We loved the day and the food was ace!

Thank you for such a fab time, we really loved it and everything on our wedding day ran like clockwork. You accommodated all of my off-the-wall requests… mariachi band, rounders match and allll the balloons!
The food was ace and we were impressed how well the vegans were catered for.
