The Royal Masonic School for Girls (RMS) is set within 300 acres of breathtaking parkland in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Founded by Bartholomew Ruspini in 1788, RMS for Girls stands as one of the oldest girls’ schools in the country.

The school was originally established in London and offered a secure environment to educate the daughters of Freemasons unable to support their families, who would otherwise not receive an education. It was a rare opportunity for females at the time. Over the years, the school grew in prominence and quickly outgrew its London location and in the 1930’s, relocated to the breathtaking Rickmansworth Park. Once a deer park and stately home, this 300-acre estate was transformed into a purpose-built school, offering a serene and picturesque environment for our students.
