An oasis in the centre of the city, with spectacular hidden gardens, awe-inspiring public areas, beautiful ceremony rooms and banqueting suites; this is the perfect backdrop for the perfect day. Our beautiful wedding venue was the proud winner of the television programme, “Four Weddings”; it is hardly surprising as we are licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and we offer truly magnificent wedding and banqueting suites for your special day.

Our Wedding Coordinators at The Queen Hotel are absolutely committed to the creation and delivery of the very best of wedding services. We have built up a fantastic reputation over a number of years in the provision of bespoke, stylish and professional events whilst retaining a warmth of hospitality which ensures our wedding parties are cared for from start to finish. Perfect Wedding Venue

We are so glad we chose The Queen for our wedding venue on 2nd August 2025!

The venue has been beautifully refurbished and the events team are second to none. Ryan helped us to plan and organise our entire day and was always on hand to answer questions and give ideas to help create our perfect day, nothing was ever too much trouble. The team were more than willing to work with us to plan a bespoke tapas menu to suit our tastes and arrange for our final toast to be a Baby Guinness for everyone!

The Lily Langtry suite where we stayed is beautifully done out and so spacious - perfect for getting ready with the hair and makeup team.

Our guests loved how convenient getting to our venue was and thought the decor and courtyard were beautiful.

Thank you once again for giving us the perfect day.

Best day ever!!

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish! All of the staff at this hotel are incredible and so helpful! Ryan made the planning process so easy and stress free and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who worked the day. All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and the rooms were so clean

Incredible Venue and staff

We recently had our wedding at The Queen at Chester Hotel and we truly couldn’t have wished for a better experience. From the very beginning, the planning and coordination were handled with so much care, organisation, and professionalism. The team made everything feel stress-free and were always on hand to answer questions and guide us through the process.

On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The service team were friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our guests were well looked after. The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic — so many of our guests have commented on how good the meal was! The venue itself looked stunning and the facilities were ideal for our celebration.

We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our day so special. It meant the world to us, and we couldn’t recommend The Queen at Chester Hotel highly enough to any couples looking for a beautiful, well-organised, and memorable wedding venue.

Our wedding day

The moment we walked into this hotel we knew it was the wedding venue we wanted! From the moment we booked our wedding date, everything ran smoothly.

The day itself was just a fairy tale and the team were amazing throughout the whole day.

A special shout out to Ryan from the day we met he was just amazing, nothing was ever to much for him and he would respond to any questions quickly and with the answers.

I know lots of my guest have booked this hotel after the wedding to stay over as well as they loved the place so much!

Beautiful , perfect , amazing team from start to finish

Perfect wedding

Excellent from start to finish

The queen's Hotel was amazing from start to finish planning every step off the way not missing any details out off our special day
When our day arrived they made up feel special every detail was correct an the staff was amazing I didn't want my day to end
Hotel is gourgous rooms where so lovely and the food was amazing

Worth the wait

We were originally supposed marry at llyndir Hall, a sister hotel to the queen, due to covid and other unforseen circumstances we were offered the queen as an alternative after 5 dates, and what an amazing place it is! We were treated like royalty and the team couldn't have done enough for us, especially the wedding coordinator Oana, she is absolutely fantastic and a credit to the place. The food was the best we've had and all of our guests commented on how perfect it was. The rooms were decorated beautifully & our vision was brought to life exactly as we wanted. The garden is amazing and had lots of brilliant photo opportunities in the small woodland area, We had the most perfect day & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody.

Absolute perfection

Words can not describe how grateful and thankful we are to all of The Queen Hotel staff. From start to finish, it was absolute perfection; we couldn't have been greeted more warmly, looked after more special and the day could not have gone better in any way.

We would like to personally thank Alison, Louise, Ryan and Jon. They were absolutely fabulous and we would like nominate them for team of the month if this is possible please? We would also like to publicly thank them- what way is possible? Do you have a twitter account or any other forum for us to write on? We would also like to write to the headquarters or 'top bosses' as it were as we feel it is truly important that they are recognised. Also the chefs! we think the Ingrouille wedding team should get it!

Again, everyone in the hotel; from Iwan, to the reception staff, chefs to the housekeeping and breakfast lady were absolutely fabulous! Please would you ensure this is passed on?

Amazing day

We had an AMAZING day and loved every single second of it!! I literally want to relive it over and over again!

I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to Ellie, John and the entire team. You have been amazing and so helpful and available for anything we needed and i really appreciate that!! On the day/night john was brill, very helpful and had everything under control and in hand. Even down to the decorating of mine and alexs table, which we had no idea about until the evening, and he went the extra mile to add harry potter touches for us! The reception team were also fabulous, welcoming, kind and helpful. I cant remember the lady's name but she had blonde hair and i think she may have been irish?... she was wonderful!

I love how we were left to set up the day before and just checked on every now and again. I love how the little things were there such as the 'bride to be' plate in our room when me and my mum checked in, and the wedding morning glass of bubbly at breakfast.

Honestly, the best day of our lives and we couldnt have picked or had a more beautiful, perfect venue for our day!

Please pass on our greatest appreciation and thanks to everyone that worked our wedding that day!

I will post a review when i get a minute on the hotel... pretty much going to copy and paste this email :D.

Perfect wedding day

We got married at the Queen hotel on 4th September 2015. From start to finish we had the most amazing day it could not have been anymore perfect. The venue was set up perfectly and looked fantastic. The food was 5 star . Rooms were fantastic. All the staff on the day were amazing . Special thanks to Simon, Zoe and Euan for our perfect day. Mr and Mrs Senior.

Perfect day

We were married at The Queen Hotel on August 9th 2014. We booked a year in advance & the wedding coordinators (Becky & Zoe) were very professional & helpful all the way through the process. The menu tasting experience was fab and the attention to detail was foremost in every way. The day itself was better than we'd ever dreamt of, the weather was perfect and the ceremony in the amazing courtyard was spectacular in every way. All the 140 guests said that the food was fantastic and they particularly liked the way that the dessert was presented with our names and the date piped in chocolate onto each plate. The hotel staff were very professional which really put us both at ease and they made a potentially stressful day so easy and memorable. Simon the general manager was there at every step from delivering Buck's Fizz to the brides room at 8.00 am to lending his handkerchief at the ceremony itself. Richard the master of ceremonies made sure everything went according to plan, yet again his attention to detail was exceptional and he kept things running smoothly. It really was everything they'd promised us it would be. We would both like to give a Big Thank You to all the staff for making our day so perfect. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. It is perfect for a wedding, from the Roman Garden with its interesting architecture and statues to the fantastic staircase in the hotel lobby which makes for a great photo opportunity.

Couldnt have asked for a better day!

Just had my wedding here on the 23.08.14 and could not of asked for a better day! The staff were all so caring and attentive and many many thanks and compliments go out to Louise who was with us all day and night and looked after every need for us. She really is a credit to your staff ?

Memorable Day

Had our wedding reception here yesterday, 03/05/14, had a lovely day. Food was fab and very tasty, staff were great, always looking after you. Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect and giving us the best memories that we will have for rest our lives.
