Wedding 2025
Della, Becky and the team at The Plough were fantastic and couldn't have had a better day. From start to finish they helped us plan the food (which was delicious), what we could have decoration wise, other personal touches we could have and it looked beautiful on the day. Everyone said how comfortable, happy they were there and we felt at ease as the team looked after us throughout the day. I would highly recommend!! -

Oh, we loved our experience of celebrating our wedding reception at the Plough & Barn at Leigh. The team there are fantastic - very responsive, professional and friendly. No request was too high an ask, and the day was wonderful and smooth. Huge thank you to all of the staff. We absolutely loved our day, as did our guests! We just love that it was dog-friendly too and our little daxie was able to join us. Highly recommend x -

From start to finish, The Plough were absolutely wonderful. They made what is often a very stressful process feel calm and effortless, and we truly appreciate all the hard work they put in. The venue itself is stunning — a perfect blend of character and elegance with a touch of rustic charm. They decorated it far beyond what we could have imagined, bringing our vision to life in the most beautiful way.
Everything went smoothly, and we had complete trust in the team, which was more than justified. It’s clear they are experts in what they do and can handle any unexpected challenges with ease and grace. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. The flavours were exquisite, and there was more than enough to satisfy our guests, who were all blown away by the quality and quantity.
The value for money was exceptional, something that’s not always easy to find when planning a wedding. We were so impressed, and we can't recommend The Plough highly enough. Della, our coordinator, was fantastic — always communicative, understanding of our vision, and incredibly helpful throughout.
They were also incredibly flexible, which was so important to us as we wanted to add some personal touches and unique quirks to our big day. The Plough were fully supportive and encouraging of all our ideas.
Thank you for making the lead-up to our wedding and the day itself so special. We’ll always treasure the memories.

We had our wedding day back in May 24. We couldn't recommend the plough more highly! We both wanted a intimate feeling wedding with our family and friends. The Plough is a stunning venue with every aspect you could want. From the beautiful pub, stunning rustic barn to the lovely outside space. Della and the team were amazing at all times throughout the planning process all the way up to the day after the wedding when we collected our decor. We would often attend our meetings with lots of questions and Della was more than happy to take the time to run through them all with us, nothing was too much trouble for the team. We done a lot of DIY bits and made a guide to help the plough set it up for us, everything was done perfectly and exactly as we had asked and we couldn't have been happier.
We also had a mixed bag of dietary requirements and they were so helpful with this and were able to make the suitable changes, cannot reiterate more that nothing is too much of a problem for the team and they are always so incredibly helpful.
On the wedding day the team were so kind and helpful in all aspects. We were desperate to get married outside and the weather was constantly on and off. The teams efforts was incredible running around moving chairs from inside to outside. The sun finally made an appearance as we walked down the aisle and the day was perfect. They also helped fluff my dress for me just as I was about to go down the aisle.
The amount of compliments we have received from our wedding day about the plough, how comfortable and welcome people felt, how stunning the venue was, how amazing the staff were, how absolutely out of this world the food was and also the drinks package is still spoken about to this day! We really could not recommend the plough more if we tried and it is so lovely that we can revisit on anniversaries and special occasions and enjoy the venue as a public house! Would 1000% recommend! -

I cannot speak highly enough about The Plough and Barn.
We used The Plough and Barn for our wedding reception, after a church ceremony. From start to finish they were nothing but helpfulful and friendly.
We were welcome to view the venue whenever we wished and the relaxed approach they had really suited us as we felt no pressure at any point.
They were super flexible with plans and happy to change things, even up to the last minute.
The food was also outstanding and we've had numerous comments on how all the food served was of high quality and tasted amazing.
We cannot recommend this venue enough and I'm so glad we found it. It really is a little gem. -

From the start, Becky, Della, and the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, making sure every detail was perfect for our big day. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and keep our wedding day running smoothly.
The venue itself is stunning—rustic charm and the fact we could decorate it to match our theme was fantastic!
And the food—just wow! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. It’s clear that a lot of care and skill went into the catering.
Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable. We’ll always cherish the memories made here -

A magical barn wedding
Della, Becky and the whole team at the Plough delivered an unforgettable wedding day for us in September. From our first meeting they made a very stressful experience seem like nothing was an issue or too much trouble putting us at ease throughout. The venue itself looked beautiful, rustic and elegant which is exactly what we had in mind. The food was exceptional and we had lots of choice for the day. The day itself ran like clockwork, even with them having to deal with a 45 minute delay, they were not phased and proffesionally dealt with this so well that we were completely relaxed. Also any extras we wanted I.e specific wines or a gazebo putting up was never too much trouble for them and they were very accommodating to all our wishes. -

What a magical day!
We can’t recommend The Plough & Barn at Leigh highly enough. The venue is so beautiful, the food amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. Hazel in particular made the journey from our first visit to our wedding day enjoyable and smooth. The day ran like clockwork. Massive thank you to you all. -
