We so appreciated how flexible and laid-back all the staff were, and how helpful and responsive they all were - especially on the day! It made for an absolutely wonderful day that all our guests enjoyed, especially all our Canadian relatives who enjoyed the incredible spaces in the pub and the barn. We were even graced by some daffodils in the garden on a gorgeous spring day. And thoughtful touches (like providing non-alcoholic options for the pregnant bride before she could even ask for them) were the cherry on top. We're already looking forward to coming back for an anniversary lunch in a year's time to enjoy more of the delicious chips that everyone raved about on the dance floor as our late-night snack. -

Just perfect!!
From the moment I watched the virtual tour, I knew this venue was the one…so much so, it made me cry when I first visited. From the beams and the hops hanging in the pub to the fairy lights in the barn, to the willow tree and wishing well in the garden, I was absolutely enchanted.
The team treat you like family and every request and wish is treated with compassion and respect. It’s clear that to make your wedding nothing short of perfect is their goal.
On the day, it felt like home..warm, inviting and full of love…our hearts totally full (and tummies too, the food was amazing!!!!!) We had the most wonderful day and would do it all again in a heartbeat.
If you are looking for authentic Kent with a rustic feel and stunning outdoor space along with that feeling of a big hug then this might just be the place for you and 100% recommend it. We’ve had more than one comment from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!! ❤️ -

Amazing wedding venue
From start to finish the Plough were amazing and we had the most fantastic day.
Not only is the venue beautiful inside and out but it incredible value for money. My friends can’t believe how much we paid for this wonderful place. The food was also amazing, really nice and great portion sizes. Your guests will certainly not be hungry!
The standout though is definitely the staff. Della was so helpful the whole time. I can’t believe how flexible they were, we were able to make the day exactly how we wanted and for that we will always be grateful.

We had our wedding at the plough recently and I can hand on heart say that you are in absolute safe hands with Becky, Della and the whole team. From start to finish we were guided, supported and very well looked after. The food was incredible, portion sizes were spot on and the team who were with us all day could not have been more friendly or happy to help. Everyone had a smile on their face and last minute requests and changes were happily take care of. Without a doubt I would 100% recommend celebrating your special day here. Thank you to everyone at the plough Mr & Mrs Wilson x -

From the first meeting through tastings and email communications to the big day, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Della, Becky and the rest of the team at The Plough.
If you are looking for a venue that that has a lot of experience, but still treats you with the enthusiasm and readiness of a first timer, truly caring about all the details to make your big day perfect, this is it. We can't thank them enough for making everything so easy and smooth on the day. A real gem in Kent. -

We had the most incredible wedding day at The Plough & Barn at Leigh. From the very first moment to the last, the care, organisation, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The team made everything feel seamless, and we felt so supported throughout the whole process.
They took every one of our decorative ideas and brought them to life even more beautifully than we could have imagined. It honestly felt like stepping into a dream. Our guests were full of compliments about how smoothly the day ran and how stunning everything looked.
The team were so kind & warm on the day and felt like an extension of our wedding party. They looked after us all with immaculate care, including ensuring we got food when having our photos taken.
On top of all that, the thoughtful touches — like ensuring we had our leftover food to take away — meant so much to us, especially as we headed straight into a house move and renovations afterwards!
We cannot recommend The Plough & Barn at Leigh highly enough. If you’re looking for a venue that combines professionalism, warmth, creativity, and genuine care, this is it. Choosing The Plough & Barn at Leigh was the best decision we made for our wedding! -

Most Incredible Wedding Ever!
We could not recommend The Plough enough! They were so communicative, caring and thoughtful from start to finish. We felt like the only couple in the world that they were working with, we were made to feel so special. Nothing was too much of an ask and they put special touches in place for us and touched base with us throughout the day to make sure we were happy and attended to. They noticed every tiny thing and gave us tips throughout the day and offered space for just us two to go whenever we wanted. It felt like having friends there on the day helping us rather than the venue staff. The place was decorated beautifully and my instructions were followed to the point of how I wanted everything laid out on the tables. They were on it with hosting and directing guests as to when it was raining and needing to move inside. We couldnt have asked for anything better! I would recommend this beautiful venue and wonderful staff to anyone who is getting married! -
