No question too small and very responsive during the whole process. Oliver was incredible on the setup/day of and made sure everything went smoothly.
Even did a video for social media which we now have forever as we didn't get a videographer/content creator. Honestly the best team and most beautiful day.

There are simply not enough words to do justice to how incredible The Normans were as a wedding venue.

From the moment we first viewed the venue, right through to the final moments of our wedding day, Oliver, Sharon and the entire team made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. Planning a wedding can be a lot at times, but The Normans have perfected the balance of professionalism, organisation and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no request felt too big or too small, and every question was met with patience, reassurance and expert advice.

The venue itself is stunning, and even after multiple visits, still makes you feel a certain way. The beautifully restored barns, stunning grounds and thoughtful attention to detail create a setting that feels both incredibly special and completely relaxed at the same time. It's one of those rare venues that genuinely exceeds the expectations set by the photographs.

What really sets The Normans apart, however, is the people. The team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. They anticipated needs before we even knew we had them, managed suppliers effortlessly, and allowed us to spend the day entirely focused on enjoying ourselves and making memories with our loved ones. Oliver, who worked the day, ended up feeling like another member of the family by the day's end and that, as much as anything else, is testament to just how much he and the rest of the team took care of us on the day. The result was, without question, the best day of our lives.

A massive shoutout too to their catering partners, Hog and Apple, who delivered a phenomenal dining experience. The food was exceptional from start to finish and weeks later our guests are still talking about it. Having attended plenty of weddings myself, it's not often the food becomes one of the stars of the show, but Hog and Apple achieved exactly that.

If you're considering The Normans, stop looking and book it. We genuinely cannot imagine a better venue, team or experience. Just wish we could do it all again.

Where do I even start, Oliver and his team were the most amazing hosts from the minute we met them, they made us feel so special and showed us around the venue virtually at first as we had a newborn baby and struggling to find time to visit the venue.

We booked instantly from a virtual viewing as there were only 2 Saturdays left for the following year, and you can totally understand, the venue is so thought out, everything is considered to make sure you and your guests have the most amazing day.

The venue is stunning that I saved so much on decor as it didn’t need anything adding, only a few personal touches for the groom and I.

Another thing I loved was that the ceremony room and wedding breakfast area are seperate so it ensures you day flows and no changing of a room during the day.

Oliver met us the day before our wedding and no request was too much, he took away all of the stress for Steve and I and it allowed us to be fully present with our guests.

The accommodation is beautiful and there is a big car park for guests to park the day / overnight. The venue felt like ours for the weekend and I’m sad to see other weddings there as it truly felt it was ours.

The catering from the hog and apple is also fantastic and you can tell the team work well together to make sure everything is smooth on the day.

I couldn’t recommend the venue enough - it was the first venue I looked at and being a bit of a perfectionist I knew I wouldn’t have found better. If you want a personal, family feel then The Norman’s is for you.

We had our Spring wedding at The Normans and are so glad we picked this venue. It is a beautiful, rustic, authentic place, tonnes and tonnes of gorgeous fairy lights to enhance it but has also kept its natural charm with lots of original features. Even on a chilly, windy spring day, it was warm and cosy which was exactly the vibe we wanted!

From day one, the communication from Oliver and Sharon was fantastic. They made us feel like the only engaged couple on the planet! They went out of their way to accommodate what we asked for, answered questions promptly and were so warm and professional as well. We cannot thank them and all the staff enough for being a part of our special day!

My husband and I got married at The Normans in December 2025 and we cannot recommend it enough as a venue.

We actually booked The Normans based on just my husband's viewing (I didn't see it until months later as we were living abroad), because he was so certain it was the perfect place. And he was right!

Oliver, Sharon and the whole Normans team are absolute pros at making sure everything runs smoothly (both in the run up and on the Big Day), and it was clear they really cared about each detail to make our wedding (and I suspect every single wedding they do) special. We didn't worry about a thing on the day because Sharon was masterfully managing everything for us.

The venue itself was beautiful - especially in the winter as the Christmas trees and lights everywhere made it utterly magical. But beyond that, one of the things we loved most about The Normans is that, because it is specifically a wedding venue, every single detail is considered for that purpose - from the wall of fairy lights in the Ceremony Barn, to the cottages on site (one with a getting ready room, as well as fancy hooks to hang your dress!), to how Oliver and Sharon manage the "flow" of the day with guests moving from space to space. The whole experience is incredibly intentional and well thought out.

Hog and Apple (the designated caterer) are also incredible and multiple guests said it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding.

The Norman’s was the perfect venue! Oliver and Sharon were fantastic from start to finish - they were always extremely welcoming and happy to accommodate our requests. Oliver did a great job on the day of organising/ keeping things on time, calming our nerves before the big moments and being a hype-man when needed!

The venue itself is perfect! Couldn’t imagine getting married at a different venue. The barn was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the grain shed was the perfect setting for the wedding breakfast/ party afterward. When we walked in the day before to set up, we thought that the venue looked so nice that it didn’t even need any additional decorations.

Our wedding day couldn’t have gone much better and that’s in no small part to The Norman’s and Oliver/Sharon, so we are extremely appreciative and couldn’t recommend them any more!!

The wedding venue of our dreams! We had the absolute best day of our lives at The Normans. The stunning country surroundings and the breath-taking ceremony and reception barns - not to mention the cosy fireplaces and quiet nooks - are all part of what makes this place so special. Ideal for weddings of any seasons (ours was a gloomy autumn day!), this place is perfect dressed up or kept as is. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to, especially when the double doors were thrown open to the grain shed and they were met with the enormous reception barn (which they’d had no idea even existed). We partied all night on the dance floor with our fab band and felt that we were properly looked after by both the smooth-running of the venue and the friendly staff from start to finish. The food from caterer partner The Hog & Apple made the day even more special, and we felt that no ask was too much by anyone at The Normans or H&A. Thank you for making our day unforgettable.

My husband and I fell in love with this place when we first saw it in the middle of a thunderstorm and knew straight away this was where we were getting married! Every room in this venue was beautifully set up and we knew this was us when we saw the lights and exposed brick in the ceremony room to the grain bags in the stables for guests to relax. We had many visits with varying family members and attended a Hog and Apple food tasting which was AMAZING! Sharon was a superstar on the day and was on hand to sort out the music, calm down the groom before the vows and make sure the day went perfectly. All the guests commented on how amazing the venue was and how they wished they had got married there or would love to get married there! The Hog and Apple put on some amazing food which guests have enjoyed telling me was delicious and the best food they have tasted which we would have to agree, The Hog and Apple staff were amazing and we would not have changed a single thing!

We knew that the Normans was the venue for us as soon as we viewed it for the first time and the service that we received right from the start was outstanding. A huge shout out to Sharon who is an absolute credit to the Normans. Nothing was too much trouble at any time (Sharon even helped us to find a babysitter for the night before the wedding). The venue is just stunning and, while we were lucky to have great weather, we would not have been disappointed if we weren’t so lucky as the inside space is perfect for a rainy day. On the day, I had no worries at all about how the day would run because of the trust that had been built up on the run up to the wedding. And the day was perfect. Sharon was there, but not there, as she made things happen and move along to time without us even noticing. Our day was perfect and all of our guests were really impressed by the venue. Wow, what a place. This venue has it all, stunning ceremony room, cow stalls full of character, a fantastic bar area and wedding breakfast room but most importantly phenomenal staff. Oliver and Sharon really are godsend’s and make the place what it is, they have thought of everything, are beyond friendly and want to ensure your day is perfect, which ours was. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will certainly be back at the earliest opportunity. The catering with Hog & Apple is out of this world, all of our guests commented on how tasty it was and the staff can’t do enough for you.
