‘From the start of planning our wedding in August 2022, Calum has been amazing. Our wedding was beyond our expectations and it wouldn’t have been possible without the staff at The Castle Hotel. Calum efficiently answered all of my enquiries quickly and went above & beyond to make it the perfect day for us. I have also had feedback, from my guests and they have endorsed how smoothly and special Calum’s efforts were to ensure all of my requests were fulfilled.
I would also like to thank the other staff who were on duty that day in addition to Calum, his colleagues who also helped. Everyone was so friendly. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone at The Castle Hotel in making our day extremely special. Calum, is an asset to The Castle Hotel’.

Dear Calum,
We wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you did in the lead-up to our wedding at The Castle Hotel on 29th March. From the very beginning, you were such a steady, reassuring presence throughout the planning process.
No matter how big or small the question, you always had a clear answer and were consistently helpful and proactive in bringing our ideas and requirements to life. It really meant a lot to us to know that we could rely on someone who was both knowledgeable and genuinely committed to making our day special. Communication was always smooth and easy with you, and we truly felt supported every step of the way.
We also want to extend our thanks to Edward and Spiri, the event coordinators who were there on the morning of the wedding. Edward, in particular, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly from the start. Please pass on our gratitude to both of them for their hard work and professionalism.

August Wedding

Dear Castle Hotel Windsor Team,

Thank you for your email regarding feedback on our recent wedding reception and stay with you at the The Castle Hotel Windsor. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in your hotel, and would recommend to anyone wishing to hold an event in Windsor.

Please find below a breakdown of the event and the main people that we interacted with.

Event Manager.
We especially found the event manager, Calum Spink, extremely helpful. He helped us throughout the decision making process and we appreciated his valuable input.

Food tasting.
This was a excellent experience which helped us to finalise our menu choices. The Polish waiter was very helpful. We also found it a nice touch that the chef personally had a chat to us regarding the selected options.

Drinks reception.
This went off well. it was a good idea to move the drinks reception to the front, as this area was under cover. , a big thank you to the Scottish master of ceremonies for making this an enjoyable experience.

Wedding Breakfast.
The restaurant manageress did an excellent job making sure that everything was served correctly and the evening ran according to plan.

Room.
The John Chater room in which we stayed for two nights was superb.

The whole day was brilliant, the Ballroom Suite was exactly how I wanted it! The floor plan, seating and red carpet all in the right places!

All my requests on the room were listened to!

My guests said the food was fantastic. A few of my guests commented on how attentive the staff was on the night.

If I ever have the chance to come again and run an event, I most certainly will.

Mike & Essie Wedding

We recently tied the knot at the Castle Hotel, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our wedding coordinator Calum was exceptional and was on top of every single detail every step of the way. The reception was setup exactly as I had explained and looked perfect. The day wouldn't have been a success without him!! Our banqueting manager Abdul was also fantastic, he was very personable and very accomodating. The food was outstanding and produced by a true master. Needless to say all plates were clear with no complaints but admiration from a very picky and foodie crowd. Thank you so much, you turned our special day into unforgettable experience that we will cherish for many years to come. Amazing staff and Hotel

We got married in Windsor and had the hotel first as a base for ny fiancée to get ready, then as a venue for reception. The Events team with Calum and Hannah along with all the staff were fantastic throughtout. The service and food for the reception was superb. The help , messages and little extra details from the staff were very nice. Thank you so much for helping make our special day extra special.

A happy couple

We had a fantastic time at The Castle Hotel on Friday. Please thank your team in the bar area who were so friendly and welcoming. We had six excitable children running around but the staff created such a relaxed vibe that we didn't feel stressed out by it. The food was exceptional. Everything came out perfectly, cooked exactly to order and everyone enjoyed their food. The steaks were a massive hit our guests mentioned them again and again they were so tasty. A lovely touch giving the married couple a glass of champs too. The table was set out beautifully, we have some great photos of us all in there- happy to share if you'd like. All of our guests commented on how modern and chic it was. A special thanks goes out to Tony (I really hope this is his name) he was in charge of looking after us in the Oak Room. He went above and beyond when he noticed I was trying to change the collection time of our transportation. He took their number from me, contacted them himself and sorted it all out for me- OUTSTANDING! The only thing I would change is we needed some back ground music in there, which Tony promptly sorted for us with the Bose speaker. We didn't think about it until half way through our meal. Not a criticism at all, I should of thought about it prior to the meal and it would have been there waiting for us I'm sure. Thank you again for making the whole experience with the Castle Hotel so enjoyable. The communication has been excellent throughout. Any queries have been dealt with quickly and efficently and I would highly recommend your services. With best wishes Jenny

A Magical Wedding

Castle hotel is one of two places we chose for our most special day.
We never got the chance to visit Windsor before choosing it, so we had to rely on photos. The Staff made it easier for us as they offered to show us everything via zoom meetings.

I'll skip to the end - it was simply magical. Every single employee was nice and extremely professional. The event was organized exactly as we planned it, and it exceeded our expectations. It was truly a dream come true.

The hotel itself is gorgeous and is located right next to Windsor Castle. It is an ideal location for all who want to explore the beauty of Windsor. The entire experience was magical, and we will be forever grateful for everyone involved, and especially to Calum who was in charge of organizing everything.
