Located in the town centre, the beautiful Georgian Castle Hotel sits opposite Sir Christopher Wren’s Windsor Guildhall and is just a short stroll from the majestic Windsor Castle.

Castle Hotel Windsor is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, so you can hold your whole day of celebrations in one elegant location. The hotel’s stunning main ballroom, The Windsor Suite, can accommodate up to 260 guests, making it one of the largest spaces for weddings in Windsor.

Everything, and I mean absolutely everything excee

What can we say! We had the most fabulous day! Everything, and I mean absolutely everything exceeded expectations! The castle hotels hosting, friendliness, timings, food, service, accommodation, atmosphere, everything everything, everything was perfect!! We can’t thank you all enough!!!

Perfect venue ! Perfect wedding !

We had our wedding reception at the castle hotel on 29th June 2018 this year we are so glad we picked this venue. The day was perfect and the team at castle hotel were helpful and had everything done to perfection. Right from the moment we saw this venue 3 years ago we fell in love with the Windsor suite and knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our special day in the beautiful ballroom. Kate was our planner and she made sure the day was everything we wanted and help us with all our needs. The food was out of this world and really catered for my allergy and the guests are still saying now how fabulous the food and service was. Monica was our event planner for the day and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything was set up on time , all the food was out on time and that myself and my husband was satisfied and our guests. I can't thank the castle hotel enough for the amazing service and food they did for us on our wedding day and all the planning to the run up of the day. I would recommend any bride or groom who are looking for the perfect venue to go with the castle hotel. We will definitely revisit the castle hotel for our first wedding anniversary and I have been since for my birthday afternoon tea which was lovely. One of my favourite hotels in the area and it holds one of the best memories in my life !

Thank you so much to the Windsor Castle Hotel for such a fabulous wedding reception on 13th September 2014. We fell in love with the Windsor Suite ballroom on first sight in January 2014, and continued the love affair right through to the end of our Big Day. The food was excellent, the decoration and layout was elegant, the staff were impeccable. We also had a lot of guests staying at the hotel and each of them commented on the 4-star experience...although it can't have come close to the luxury we had in the bridal suite! A wedding day really is a representation of the bride and groom to all their friends and family - of which we are 100% proud! Three weeks on and our guests continue to rave about the day, and the hotel is always mentioned as a huge part of the splendour

Our wedding day 11.11.06 was fantastic at the Castle Hotel

Everything was exactly as we wanted it, all of our guests had a brilliant time. The room looked fantastic, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Also you made the whole process effortless from start to finish.

An amazing time for our wedding day on 9.6.07

Memorable reception at Macdonald Castle Hotel

From the early planning stages right through to the day itself we were thoroughly impressed with the professional and friendly approach adopted by your team who left us in no doubt that they were dedicated to ensuring that our day was a total success. A number of guests have come back to us with comments that highly praise the event and indeed some have said it was the best wedding that they have ever attended.

Fantastic!

Thank you to the Castle Hotel for all the hard work both in the run up to our wedding day and also on the day itself. We had a fantastic time and the whole day went without a hitch. James did a great job in making sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be, and on time. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on the hotel and the food, and many said that they are planning a return visit both to Windsor and to stay at the hotel.

We would like to thank the staff for making the day as wonderful as we were hoping it would be. Several people commented on the food saying that it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. We have to agree with them. The Caste Hotel is extremely lucky to have a superb chef. I would also like to praise James who did an excellent job as MC as well as keeping the rest of the show on the road. The back up staff waiters did an excellent job too. Several of our guests were local people who may be in the position in months to come. They are now considering The Castle as a possible venue. Finally I would like to thank Elizabeth for all her efforts in organising the day. She did a thoroughly professional job.

Perfect day!

Thank you so much to the Castle Hotel for everything they did to make our wedding day a wonderful occasion! It was just the perfect day – couldn’t have gone better. Thanks most of all to Elizabeth for all her work making sure all the details came together, but also to David for sorting out all the accommodation (very comfortable and impressive!), to James and Isabella and Alex for making sure the evening reception and indeed the breakfast were so well organised, to chef for what everyone agreed was a top class meal, and everyone else in their very efficient team! It was an event we’ll remember always and with great appreciation.

We had a wonderful time...

We had a wonderful time; everything went so smoothly and all the staff were terrifically helpful, from the Master of Ceremonies, through the lovely staff who served the meal, to the chap who found us glasses in which to stand the bouquets. Nothing phased them, and all the guests expressed their appreciation of the reception, and the accommodation too.

Fabulous,friendly and professional service

We got married in October 2003 and held our reception at the Castle Hotel. The staff were very receptive to our requests, and the service was exceptional. We had a fabulous time.
