From the very first time we met Laura at The Bay Tree back in September, we instantly knew she - and this beautiful beautiful venue - were the one for us ✨️. Laura made the entire planning process feel effortless, and your calm, organised, and supportive nature made all the difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every single one of my (many!) questions and emails was met with such grace, kindness, and promptness.
As for the big day itself - we’re still completely blown away. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and so much of that is down to you. Laura coordinated the day so seamlessly that we (especially me!) didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We are beyond grateful to have had you by our side through it all. If we could do it all again, we absolutely would - just to have the chance to work with you again!
I want to give a special mention separate thank you to Becky, Alana, Enya and the wonderful front-of-house team, who were all fantastic both in the lead-up and on the day itself. A special shout out to Ethan, who so many of our guests praised for being absolutely brilliant!

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Bay Tree Hotel in August 2025! There were a few reasons for our decision to book it as our venue, firstly was our wish for our guests to be able to stay and feel as though they could relax. We were also keen to have the flexibility of an indoor/outdoor venue (luckily the weather was kind to us, but you can never trust the British summer)! And it is clear to see what a stunning venue the Bay Tree is, with numerous options for your wedding!
In the months planning our day, the team were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any queries we had. Our meetings with Laura were enjoyable and productive, as was our menu tasting! Unfortunately, Laura was away on our wedding day, so Becky sat in on our final meeting and oversaw the day itself.
We were blown away on the day as to how professional and accommodating the team were! The day ran so smoothly and felt incredibly relaxed for us and our guests! They made sure rooms were ready for guests to check in as early as possible and used great initiative when setting up, adding little details to make the venue look even more stunning!
So many of our guests have said to us how impressed they were with the venue, from how nice their rooms were to the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the team!

We fell upon The Bay Tree Hotel by pure accident during our search and it was the best find EVER!
Prior to our big day - Laura was on hand for all my questions and I had plenty. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt part of the family. As the day approached all the team were available to final requests.
On the day - the team were epic. I went a bit extra with my decorations and all hands were made available to help.
We had rain on the day (not what we planned!) but it didnt matter, the venue was perfect for any weather and looked stunning in all our pictures.
As a corporate event planner ive viewed alot of venues and had high expectations. The Bay Tree and its team exceeded our expectations and delivered from the moment we booked our initial look around.
A special shout out to Laura who honestly, I felt was a friend more than anything else. She understood every hurdle I had. Its very rare to find someone who thoroughly shows up 110% to every wedding and Laura certainly does that. She is honestly epic! -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than The Bay Tree Hotel. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. The charm and character of the hotel created the most beautiful setting for our special day, and the team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable.
A special thank you to Laura and Becky, who were simply amazing throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble – they were always on hand, calm, kind, and completely dedicated to making sure everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference.
The food was truly incredible – every single guest commented on how delicious it was, beautifully presented and served with such professionalism. The rooms were immaculate, full of character and comfort, and every member of staff worked tirelessly with a smile to ensure everything was just right.
If you’re considering The Bay Tree Hotel for your wedding – don’t hesitate. It’s a 10 out of 10, 5-star, outstanding venue that will exceed every expectation. We are so grateful for the unforgettable memories we now have – thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

The most amazing day!!
We got married at The Bay Tree at the end of May and had the most amazing day. Laura was just a dream as a wedding coordinator - always on hand for all our questions in the run up to the day, so professional, organised and lovely! Laura and the team ensured that our day was smooth running - our guests have commented on how smoothly the day went and we didn’t have to think of a thing on the day! We truly just relaxed and enjoyed the day. We loved that we had exclusive use of the venue and really did use all areas! The bar/lounge area was perfect for those in the evening who didn’t want to dance. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to make use of the terrace and garden which were lovely especially with use of garden games from The Bay Tree. The food was a real highlight - our guests are still talking about how good it all was plus the portion sizes were amazing! A few of our guests have since returned to The Bay Tree for lunch! We loved that we could offer rooms for our guests and were so impressed by them. It was lovely to be able to have breakfast with our guests the next day and having the option of a continental buffet plus a hot dish. The Bay Tree and Burford are so picturesque with ample opportunities for good pictures! Overall we are so so pleased that we chose The Bay Tree as our wedding venue and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank you Laura and team for making our day truly special. Dominique & Nat -

We recently had our wedding at The Bay Tree Hotel, and we can honestly say it was the most amazing day of our lives. From start to finish, everything was perfect – the venue is absolutely stunning, full of charm and character, and created the most beautiful setting for our special day.
What truly set The Bay Tree apart, though, was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we and our guests felt completely looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and their professionalism and warmth didn’t go unnoticed.
Further to the staff, their wedding fayre led to us finding a dream team of suppliers and seeing them work in the space and the staff on the put us completely at ease. I can't not say anything about the food! Our guests won't stop talking about it, and quite honestly the menu tasting was easily the best part about planning. All of our wedding guests travelled to the wedding and being able to use the exclusive use package took a lot of stress off of our plate!
A special shout out goes to Laura, the wedding coordinator, who was simply outstanding. Her support throughout the planning process was invaluable – she was always responsive, and thoughtful, and helped us figure out the logistics of special requests and ideas. Her attention to detail ensured everything came together just perfectly on the day. Laura genuinely cares, and it showed in everything she did. We couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through it all.
We are so grateful to everyone at The Bay Tree Hotel for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. If you're considering this venue for your wedding, don’t hesitate – you’ll be in the best hands. -

The Bay Tree Hotel was the first venue we viewed and we fell in love with it from the start. The opportunity for exclusive use as well as the wonderful gardens and layout made it a clear winner for the wedding we wanted. From the moment we started planning with Laura, through all our consultations and the day itself it was such a relaxed experience. Every member of staff at the Bay Tree has been wonderful and so welcoming of us having our big day at the hotel. With so many of our guests being from overseas as well as not from the Cotswolds, we wanted a beautiful spring wedding and had just that.
We would especially like to thank Laura who guided us through the planning of the day as well as the on the day wedding coordination. It was lovely working with her and the wider team who made the day so wonderful. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the hotel the night before our wedding and the customer service from then until our departure was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble from storing boxes of decorations, chocolates in the cellar so they wouldn’t melt and organising an early room service breakfast for me on the morning so I could completely relax took all the stress away.
Overall we and our families and friends had the most wonderful stay at the hotel and the wedding was unforgettable. Our guests have all commented on how seamless everything was and how relaxed and comfortable they all felt. The day was really geared around us and celebrating with our loved ones and we couldn’t thank the Bay Tree enough for this. We would recommend the Bay Tree and the team to anyone looking to have their wedding in the Cotswolds. -

As mother of the bride, I would not hesitate in recommending The Bay Tree for a wedding, particularly in winter, with its flagstone floors, roaring fires and Christmas decorations. The wedding package they offer with exclusive use of all their bedrooms is extremely competitive and makes you feel as if you are hosting a private, intimate house party. If you are looking for a historic, attractive and authentic venue in the heart of the Cotswolds, with excellent customer service, then The Bay Tree is ideal. Laura, the Wedding Coordinator is superb and you can add as many personal touches to your Reception as you wish. All the staff are totally delightful; friendly, efficient and always willing to go the extra mile, from Reception, to the waiting and bar staff, who end up feeling like extended family. The food, for the price, was excellent and my daughter married at nearby Shorthampton Church, just 6 miles away. Having our meal lit almost entirely by candles was magical on what turned into a wet, cold December afternoon - the perfect retreat! -
