Nipon is something special. Aside from being a stellar photographer, he is a stellar human. He felt like part of the family on our wedding day. If you don’t care about that, then let’s get to the photography review. If you take a look at his website you will see he is not your average photographer who gets you to stand and pose and capture “nice” images. He captures the ESSENCE of the day, those perfect moments no one is watching, and in doing so he gets better pictures than you could possibly hope for. When you look back at his wedding pics you will literally feel like you are reliving it. I got better pictures with my husband on that day than we did the entire two years we were together! Nipon was very friendly, professional and keen to listen to his client’s needs to understand our priorities. We met Nipon a few weeks before our wedding to discuss details and walk around the location. Nipon was great with our family and guests, and was personable, professional and flexible throughout out the two days we requested his service (intimate wedding ceremony followed by a party the next day with family and friends). My wife and I had a vague idea of what we wanted but he was able to turn our vagueness into reality and helped to guide us through the process. We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with Nipon on our wedding day! From the moment we spoke to him on the phone, we knew that he would provide the relaxed, natural photos we wanted. We first met Nipon a few weeks before our wedding, he listened and was really responsive to what we wanted. He also visited the venue at the time of day we were getting married to prepare. Throughout the day, Nipon seamlessly fitted in with all our friends and family. When it was time to say goodbye, I honestly thought we were saying goodbye to one of our guests. This and his preparation before meant that his photos really captured the atmosphere of the day. There are some beautiful shots of our friends and family, something we and they will cherish.

Nipon from Ravel Photography was our photographer on our wedding day in August 2023. We were having quite a relaxed wedding and we wanted a photographer who would take photos of the day as it happened, as neither of us really wanted the typical 'posed' wedding pictures. Nipon had some really interesting shots on his website from other weddings which we thought looked great.
Once I had spoken to Nipon on the phone I knew that he was going to be a good person to work with. He was always super responsive in terms of email queries. We had a Zoom call for him to meet my fiancé, and then we met him in person in Greenwich park so we and our kids could get used to him and his cameras. He also visited the venue at the same time as the reception so he could work out the best places for shots and assess the light in advance.
On the day, he had a lovely calm energy but worked super hard to get all the photos we asked for, as well as capturing the atmosphere of the day. We would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a documentary / journalistic style of photography.

We were lucky enough to have Nipon take our wedding pictures this August and we were so impressed with the quality, character and unique style of all his pictures. He is also a very warm, approachable and friendly person who has a charming way with people. We loved sharing the day with him, not only as our photographer, but as a wonderful wedding guest.
