Tatton Park was the first and only wedding venue we looked at. The warmth from the Tatton team in our initial meeting sealed the deal for us immediately! The stunning scenery is just the icing on the cake for the most wonderful wedding venue.
We felt so supported throughout the whole process and any queries we had were answered immediately. We really got the sense that the team wanted us to have our perfect day and it really was the best day of our lives.
We got ready upstairs in the rooms that were perfect for a relaxed glow up experience, overlooking the stunning grounds. I cannot think of a better place to spend your wedding morning. We were treated like royalty right from the start of the day with wonderful Tatton team members always there to help us with anything we needed.
The team helped our event management team turn the hall into a Bridgerton inspired ballroom with beautiful lighting and decor.
Holly was excellent, she ran our day with absolute precision. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt we could trust her to deal with anything that came up. Many of guests have commented on how seamless the day ran and how friendly all of the Tatton staff were.
The Tatton team coordinated with Payal (our event management, catering and decor team), the bands and Jonny Cocktail (our bar team) to ensure they had everything they needed to make the day perfect and removed any stress from ourselves so we could just enjoy our day.

Tatton Park is undeniably a stunning wedding venue, and the setting provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding day. The grounds, surroundings and venue itself have so much character and elegance, and we were delighted with how beautiful everything looked. It really is a special place to get married.

Unfortunately, our experience with the coordination on the day did not quite match the beauty of the venue.

We had numerous meetings in the lead-up to our wedding and put a great deal of trust in the team, believing that everything we had discussed and carefully documented in our confirmation report was in hand. We planned our day accordingly and expected that the coordination team would be across the details, allowing us to relax and enjoy the occasion.

However, several important details did not happen as planned. In the morning, key items, including the wedding dress, were not received and handled in the way we had expected. There were also delays in calling guests for the ceremony and dinner, without the reason for the delays being clearly communicated to us at the time.

There were also issues with communication between Tatton Park and the recommended caterers. Having chosen to work with suppliers recommended through the venue, we expected there to be clear communication and coordination between everyone involved. Unfortunately, this did not always seem to be the case, which contributed to confusion and delays on the day.

Some of the more personal elements of our ceremony were also affected. Our entrance and vows did not take place as we had planned, and music was not played at the intended moments during the evening. These details were particularly important to us and had been discussed beforehand, so it was disappointing to see some of these plans affected on such a significant day.

Our frustration is not that everything wasn’t absolutely perfect — we completely understand that weddings can be unpredictable and that things can happen behind the scenes. It was more that, after having numerous meetings and providing detailed information in advance, we expected stronger communication, coordination and visibility from the events team on the day.

At times, we felt that there wasn’t someone readily available or within easy reach when we needed assistance, which made it difficult for us to understand what was happening or resolve issues as they arose.

Despite this, we don’t want the above to take away from the fact that Tatton Park is a genuinely beautiful wedding venue. We still look back on our wedding as a special and beautiful day, and the venue itself provided an incredible setting for it.

Our feedback is simply that the coordination behind the scenes could have been considerably stronger. For future couples, we would recommend making sure the clearly identified member of the events team who is assigned to your wedding is readily available throughout the day, and ensures that all details in the confirmation report — including timings, ceremony arrangements, music and communication with recommended suppliers — are fully understood and actively coordinated by them. We tried our best with our coordinator but we did not have an external event manager to oversee everything as we thought it wasn’t needed, so perhaps this is something to consider for couples.

Tatton Park has all the ingredients to provide an exceptional wedding experience. We just feel that, in our case, the level of coordination and communication on the day did not quite meet the standard we had expected from such a beautiful and established wedding venue.

Our daughter’s wedding at Tatton Park was nothing short of beautiful, and much of that is thanks to Holly and her outstanding team, whose professionalism, calmness, and foresight shaped the day exactly as we had hoped.

Tatton Park itself is a venue of rare character — sweeping gardens, historic architecture, and a multitude of halls, rooms, and outdoor spaces that allow a family to design their wedding with real freedom. The grounds looked magnificent on the day, and we were blessed with perfect weather for our outdoor Nikah, which unfolded against the backdrop of Tatton’s elaborate lawns and serene landscape. It is a venue that elevates a moment simply by being itself.

Holly: Proactive, organised, and always thinking ahead

From the very first planning meeting, Holly demonstrated a level of organisation and anticipation that gave us complete confidence. She was proactive throughout — always one step ahead, always thinking about what the next moment required. Her communication was consistent, clear, and reassuring, and she handled every detail with a quiet competence that allowed us to enjoy the day rather than manage it.

The pre‑event meetings were smooth and productive, and the setup on the day was installed exactly as we had envisaged. It is rare to see a venue team execute a plan with such precision, especially across multiple spaces, but Tatton Park delivered.

Venue Dressing & Catering

We worked with Reviere Manchester for venue dressing, and they did a wonderful job. Their décor complemented Tatton’s natural beauty without overwhelming it, and we would happily recommend them to other couples.

For catering, we engaged MyLahore. While their food quality was excellent, their service struggled under the pressure of multiple parallel events. It was clear that our wedding was not their priority that evening, and the service reflected that. Tatton Park’s team, however, remained composed and supportive throughout, and other catering vendors may be better suited to events of this scale.

Despite the challenges with the external caterer, Tatton Park and Holly’s team were exceptional. They were present, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring the day ran smoothly. The venue’s beauty speaks for itself, but it is the people behind the scenes who make it truly special.

We had our Indian wedding at Tatton Park and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue. The grounds are absolutely stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our celebrations and photos.

As soon as I saw Tatton Park, I fell in love. I truly don’t think there’s another wedding venue with such stunning gardens and incredible photo opportunities.

Holly, my wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough. She was always available whenever I needed anything and made the entire planning process feel so much less stressful. Charlene was also wonderful to work with and was incredibly flexible when I mentioned that I wanted to hold my Nikkah in the greenhouse.

We chose My Lahore for our catering and Elegant Events Management for our décor, and both did a fantastic job.

Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and our photos turned out beautifully. I’m so happy we chose this venue for our special day.

I had my wedding here in July 2025 and it was the most amazing, special and beautiful experience. Holly and Megan were truly so kind, they helped me throughout the whole planning process. The Tatton Park staff always listened to me, my concerns and helped me plan the most amazing day. I could not recommend this place enough! I really didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day, Holly took care of it all and made sure there was no burden on me. Amazing venue with the most helpful team :)

We had our reception here in July with drinks on the terrace and dinner & dancing in the Tenants Hall. The staff were helpful and friendly, the venue was stunning and the whole thing couldn''t have been more amazing or more perfect. The photos we''ve had back are beautiful and I loved being watched and congratulated on the terrace by people looking round the park!
