Caked brings you beautiful wedding cakes and favours, uniquely designed especially for you. Claire founded Caked in 2016 in London, and has recently re-located to the beautiful West Country, where she will continue to create beautiful and delicious cakes and treats for your wedding day.
I will work with you to create a design that perfectly compliments your wedding, taking details from your dress, flowers, colour themes, and even the invitation as inspiration for a cake.
My style is clean and elegant with a contemporary twist. I specialise in sugar flowers - couples love it when I create the flowers in their bouquet in sugar so that they can keep them to display after their wedding. I love working with fresh flowers as well, especially on naked cakes which are very popular.
We’ll discuss your design in a friendly and relaxed consultation, where you’ll also have the opportunity to try lots of cake. My signature flavours include white chocolate & raspberry, lemon & lavender and red velvet, but if there’s a particular flavour you're looking for, I can make it happen - many of my most popular flavours started that way! All of my cakes are made with high quality ingredients, plus I'm a professionally-trained pastry chef, so you know your cake will taste delicious. After our consultation, I’ll send you various designs to choose from, and I will keep designing until you’re completely happy.
I also provide dessert tables, and beautiful iced cookie and macaron favours for your guests. These can be designed to match your cake or include details such as piped initials or messages.
Caked has been a dream of mine for a long time. Following years of honing my sugar-craft and baking skills, and making wedding and celebration cakes for friends and family, I finally took the plunge and embarked on my dream. After 8 years in a media career, I quit my day job and enrolled at the famous Le Cordon Bleu in London to complete a Patisserie diploma. I graduated in early 2016 and quickly set about setting up Caked. Since then, I have built up a successful business, providing more and more happy couples with beautiful cakes each year.

How much do your services cost?
All my designs are bespoke for each couple, therefore I don't have fixed costs. However as a guide, my 3 tier naked cakes start at £320 and my 3 tier fondant-covered cakes start at £400.
Do you offer any other services?
I offer decorated biscuit favours which can be designed especially for you. These start at £3 per biscuit. Other favours such as macarons and truffles are also available, and a bespoke dessert table service.I also offer celebration cakes for all types of celebrations.
How much notice do I need to give you?
I advise booking your wedding cake 3-6 months in advance, however bear in mind that popular dates get booked up quickly - especially summer months! Of course, do get in touch if you need your cake sooner in case I have availability.
Do you deliver?
Yes, and in some cases I will insist as the cake will need to be assembled at the venue. Delivery within a 5 mile radius of Shaftesbury is £40, but cakes travel well, and a quote will be given for venues further afield. Delivery costs include set-up on the day.
What are the forms of payment?
Currently you can pay via direct transfer or cheque.
Do you cater for gluten-free?
Yes! I can create cakes that are suitable for gluten-free, egg-free and dairy-free. For any other allergies just ask!
