We celebrated our wedding at Stirrups in May and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived , we were struck by how much character the place has. It is charming, full of personality and has beautiful gardens.
The staff were very attentive on the day and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Especially Sam and Brent who were amazing on the day. Our guests loved the food, from the delicious wedding breakfast to the evening buffet. On the morning of the wedding my mum and I were treated to a fresh fruit platter and hot rolls, which were really yummy and a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how stunning it all looked. Stirrups will always hold a special place in our hearts and we highly recommend it for weddings and functions! -

From booking 18mths in advance to our big day, Stirrups guided us through every stage. Set slightly away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy town but easy to reach. They catered for everyone & everything. The hotel is beautiful, air conditioned, tastefully decorated with well manicured gardens & outdoor spaces. The food and wine selections were top notch all served to the highest standards. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We selected one of their Wedding Packages which came with various suppliers for flowers/decorations etc. All the suppliers were a joy to work with along with other suppliers that we found at their Wedding Fayre's. Nothing was too much trouble even when we had to make last minute changes two days before the wedding. All our family & friends enjoyed themselves immensely at Stirrups and a lot of them would love to come back for another stay. We cannot thank them enough for making our Wedding Day everything we wanted it to be. -

Stirrups hotel were fantastic, from the moment I enquired to the big day itself. Brilliant communication throughout and no questions left unanswered. The staff the evening before and on the day were beyond helpful. Our wedding day went seamlessly. Our guests as well as ourselves as Husband and Bride had nothing but praise for the hotel and staff. The food was perfect and they went above and beyond catering to multiple allergies to allow guests to eat a similar meal to everyone else on the day. I would highly recommend Stirrups to anyone looking at getting married. -

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Stirrups, from the moment we booked it nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff we had dealings with, the venue its self is stunning, all the staff are friendly and helpful, we had Louise as our wedding manager from the hotel and she went above and beyond to make our day extremely special.
Many of our guests stayed at the hotel and all have been raving about how amazing it all was and how lovely, clean and modern the rooms are, I stayed the night before in a gorgeous suit which I got ready in along with flower girls.
The ceremony room was just the right size and felt welcoming, we had been advised by Louise on preferred decoration suppliers for tables and chair covers and all was perfect from Jody at Vesuvius weddings, and Adele Kemp for the florist.
Our chosen wedding Breakfast food was piping hot and delicious, everyone was extremely happy, we also had an evening buffet which again was the perfect amount of food for our guests and delicious.
An Evening disco was included in our package, supplied by Orange disco's and again they were brilliant, contacting us beforehand for preferred music , and I had a few requests that they provided on the night and everyone danced the night away.
Orange disco had extras you could book and we had a photo booth which I would highly recommend, lots of fun was had by all.
On the wedding night my husband and I stayed in the most gorgeous wedding suit, next morning as many guests stayed over the hotel accommodated us all in a room together for breakfast,
we cannot fault any aspect of our magical wedding at Stirrups, and the very reasonable price for everything we had included in our chosen package.
we would highly recommend Stirrups for anyone wanting the most magical day in stunning surroundings with staff that really do care and want you to be happy. -

I cannot thank Stirrups Hotel enough they were just fantastic, everything ran smoothly and all the members of staff worked so hard to ensure we had the most special day.
We missed out one buttonhole in the panic of organising everything and they kindly made one for my bridesman! The food was incredible, the service in the morning for my bridal party was amazing. They thought of everything, even little things like having a glass of water on hand just before I walked down the aisle and two glasses of champagne for us when we came out of the ceremony.
You will be in the safest hands, everything I was worried about was sorted. We went for a package deal and it is good value for money for what you get - we had our wedding on a Saturday in September and other venues we queried were alot more money, there are no hidden costs here and the package deal includes everything you need which alone takes alot of stress off the planning.
Massive shout out to Louise who worked incredibly hard all evening, she never stopped! All the managers there are so friendly and hardworking. Thank you for giving us the best day of our lives, I wish we could do it all again!Stirrups Hotel's reply:
