I cannot recommend Sophie Grace Bridal enough. Mo made the whole experience amazing for me. I was struggling with the whole trying wedding dresses on experience and having been to two shops before here, from the minute I first spoke to Mo on the phone I knew this experience was going to be different. The location is brilliant because you do not have the stress of parking. Inside is beautifully light and relaxed and plenty of dresses to choose from.
Mo straight away put me at ease, and I really enjoyed my whole experience of trying dresses on. I found my dream dress and everything else was so seamless from here, with plenty of notifications of arrival of the dress and then dress fittings. I cannot recommend them enough.

I’m going to be honest here because unfortunately my experience didn’t reflect the other reviews or my expectations of the day.
When we arrived, it was just a brown unit in industrial estate, a woman shoved a thermometer & clipboard in our face without saying hello and walked off till another woman greeted us. We were very pressured to make a decision on a dress right there and then, as if we couldn’t wait even a couple of days to decide and were told other bridal shops wouldn’t be able to get us a dress and it turned into a very hard sell which was uncomfortable for both me and my guest. Truthfully, a lot of the dresses & room were tacky. We weren’t allowed to take photos, the saleswoman had no respect for privacy or modesty and she bitched about another bride doing a fitting who had put on weight and said they ‘expected more from her’ which was so uncomfortable.
We made the best of it, but left feeling stressed & having been to another amazing appointment it’s so clear that the experience should be more chilled & professional.

Amazing selection of dresses and amazing after care to ensure the dress I chose was just right on the day, all the little extras and clever design elements really helped. Service is sublime. This is a local company that truly cares - highly recommend.

If you see one you like , but wanted extra embellishments, add sleeves or anything else , they can do all that for you. I had sleeves and extra beading added to mine and it was perfect! It becomes a bespoke and unique dress.

They will give you 2 hrs of undivided attention at your first appointment and will listen to all your bridal needs and requests. They are so friendly and courteous and make you feel very comfortable in what could be a daunting environment.

I don't think there are many brides to be who are 100% sure of what kind of dress/gown they want, but the staff will certainly give you an array of choices for you to make that ultimate decision. They will never push you to make a decision, but will advise you should you ask for their opinion on the gowns.

At my fitting , I had lost a lot of weight.So much so that my gown not just needed to be taken in, but needed to be taken apart and basically put back together again! I panicked but their superb seamstress Vizma is wonderfully talented in what she does , that you would have never known the dress was in pieces.

I cannot express how happy I am to have found this place. It really is a hidden gem! If you live a little far, I guarantee your travel will not be wasted.

Thank you so much for everything, I literally found the dress of my dreams and nothing was ever too much! I found what ever it was I wanted they can bring it to life or they would give inspiration and ideas on how you can personalise the dress to get it how you want.

I did go to one bridal shop before coming to Sophie Grace, and even though there was nothing wrong with their service I found Sophie Grace on my first impressions went above and beyond. Which made the biggest difference for me.

I cannot stress enough the importance of visiting Sophie Grace Bridal. You will have a wonderful experience and reduce your stress levels significantly. I was so fortunate to find my dress in the second shop that I had visited. Sophie Grace Bridal has a vast collection of stunning dresses and superb customer service.

Pam was very patient and friendly. She encouraged me to try on different styles to ensure I found the right fit for my shape. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy a dress or any accessories. Jackie is a very talented and professional seamstress. She listened attentively and brought my vision to life to ensure my dress was perfect for the big day. Keep up the great work ladies!

My daughter and I came to Sophie Grace having had a rather pushy sales experience at another boutique. All of the staff here were incredibly helpful and were genuinely interested in the bride and helping her find the right dress for her. They took a lot of time, listening carefully to her while she described what sort of wedding she envisaged and the kind of dress she had in mind and, as well as finding her a number of dresses which met her description, they also showed her some which they thought would suit her. There were a number of dresses she loved - all very reasonably priced - and it was difficult to choose. There was no pressure to make a decision - they would have been very happy for her to make another appointment.
I have to mention Jackie and the seamstresses who altered not only the wedding dress but three bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride outfit as well - their work was beautiful and although the adjustments looked minor, they made a huge difference to the way the dresses looked and felt. Our whole experience with the Sophie Grace team was lovely and I'd certainly recommend them.

From the moment I phoned Sophie Grace Bridal and spoke to Pam to make an appointment until the day I ordered my gown the level of service has been outstanding.

My first appointment was with Avril who was absolutely lovely. I had no idea what kind of gown I wanted but Avril made me feel at ease and was so professional, honest and lots of fun! She offered me advice and also came up with good suggestions. There was such a choice of beautiful gowns and we whittled it down to a shortlist and I then went back and met with Pam who helped me come to a decision. Pam was also so lovely and very patient and full of ideas. I asked her for advice on accessories and other wedding things which she gladly provided me with.

I have also met with Mo and Lenka and unsurprisingly they are also both so very nice! All of the staff have such passion and enthusiasm for what they do and it all comes naturally to them.

Whenever I have been to Sophie Grace Bridal I have never felt rushed or pressured. All of the staff are so knowledgeable and really listen to you, what kind of wedding you are having and what you would like. I would highly recommend them to any bride.

I am so happy that I have found my gown there and look forward to getting it and seeing all of the lovely ladies again. You all truly made this experience so special for me and I am so grateful for this.

Mo was lovely and tailored the dress to fit like a princess. Nothing was too much trouble !

I went to Sophie Grace on a whim, due to the possibility of having to bring our wedding forward, and I'm so glad I did! Mo and Pam were absolutely lovely, they totally understood my style, and were willing to go that extra mile to help me out. Luckily the wedding no longer needs to be brought forward but I still found my dream dress, not surprising considering the number of beautiful dresses available in store. Fabulous array of bridal wear. Mo gave me so much time and space to ponder, which was really really hard given all the choices. She helped guide me through all the ones that weren't really contenders and cherry picked those that were. I travelled up from London after seeing their website, and so glad I did, I really felt looked after. They are even helping me put the finishing touches to my already beautiful dress, having their seamstress make a little extra something for me.
