We hired the beautiful Shakespeare Garden and Marquee, along with the Long Room and Wetherhead Bar. The value for money is amazing. The event space, particularly the garden, had our guests in awe of how wonderful it looked, not to mention how it was the perfect location for us. I can’t recommend it highly enough for a special day. Both local guests and those who travelled gave us feedback that it was a perfect location. Our event organisers Niamh and Harriet are organised, creative and just really nice people! Niamh as the lead event organisers is passionate about event and wedding planning. Niamh came up with lovely ideas for our day, suggesting ways to use the venue which then became the highlights of our day. She was very calm under pressure and made us feel relaxed about the planning of the day. We also appreciated the physical moving/storage of items for the preceding days ensuring that all of our preparations went smoothly, and the way that Lightwoods House communicated with 1000 Trades staff who catered the meal to make sure that everything went as planned. They even kindly packed up things for us while we were partying in the evening. The organisers helped with a special surprise that could have been logistically difficult but organised it happily and with excitement! There was no moment where anything didn’t go to plan, again down to the fabulous planning. The staff were kind and again we had guests feeding back how nice the staff were to them. During the day we could see how hard all the staff were working behind the scenes but they did this very subtly and unobtrusively- we didn’t have to deal with a single thing! We chose to have 1000 Trades cater for us which was a brilliant choice- the best canapés we have ever had and they catered our fully vegetarian wedding with interesting and delicious dishes. We chose to have a mix of corkage and bar service in the evening and that worked very well too. All in all it was truly perfect and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

In May 2023 we had the honour of having our wedding at the delightful Highbury Hall. The customer service was outstanding from our initial enquiry right up to the last moment of our special day. Sam Forth was amazing and supported us throughout our entire wedding journey of planning and organising. She was extremely thorough and always very responsive always at hand to assist or advise. All the staff were wonderful and very attentive, especially on the day of our wedding. Everything went exactly to plan even the tiniest little detail was executed to perfection. In our opinion, Highbury Hall is the most beautiful wedding venue in and around the West Midlands every inch of it is pure class and elegance, simply stunning. Moseley’s hidden gem! On the morning of the wedding, I arrived in my wedding car to be greeted by the Sam and the staff waiting at the entrance, it was so emotional, I felt like and absolute Queen entering the castle. They then took me to see the ceremony room and reception hall. It literally took my breathe away, I have never seen anything so beautiful!! They had done a magical job. The staff looked after myself and my bridal party with such genuine care and affection. They explained to my little page boys and flower girl exactly what they needed to do and even calmed me down during my melt down right before I had to walk down the isle. The order of the day went exactly to plan once again thanks to the professionalism and attention to detail of the staff. The quality and presentation of the catering was no other than 5*. All our guests have not only said it was the best wedding food they have had, but they also said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Our overall experience was excellent and by far exceeded our expectations. It was the best day of our lives and if we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing! Highbury Hall is the best wedding venue, and we would highly recommend booking your wedding with them. Not only do all the staff know exactly what they are doing, you can clearly see that they are happy doing it, nothing was ever too much trouble. They are an absolute credit to Highbury Hall. Thank you to the entire team for making our dream come true.
