Set in 90 acres of orchards in Taunton, Somerset, Sheppy's Cider Farm is a unique and rustic wedding venue. Your day will be filled with endless picture opportunities, amazing cider, and top-quality food. At its heart stands a beautiful cider mill that has been sympathetically restored to what is now the House of Cider.

Our Venue

Our venue consists of four different spaces; depending on the size of your wedding, you can hire one, two or the whole venue.

If you are looking for a more intimate occasion, our restored Oak Cider Vat is the perfect space for 10 guests to enjoy private dining, or you can welcome your guests with a cider tasting for up to 20.

Our Stableroom is an original farm building which can accommodate up to 40 seated guests or 70 standing guests. With its pretty exposed beams, it is a welcoming space ideal for intimate gatherings, lively receptions or dancing and can be serviced directly from the adjacent kitchen.

The rustic Old Barn has been sensitively restored, retaining exposed beams and brick walls for a relaxed country atmosphere. The charming log burner and stage area make this a popular venue all year round. This room can sit up to 70 guests and 100 standing.

Finally, The Cider House Once the heart of the cider business, this spacious venue can comfortably seat up to 100 people across two floors. The contemporary industrial interior can be adapted for formal or relaxed dining and can be extended by an external marquee for dancing or reception space.

All rooms will give you access to our licensed bar and use of our beautiful orchards.
