West Berkshire Registration Services are located within Shaw House, a beautiful Elizabethan manor in Newbury, Berkshire. There are three ceremony rooms available to choose from and the scenic grounds are perfect for photographs.

The Register Office is the smallest of our rooms and is for the two of you and your two witnesses only. Ceremonies in the Register Office are on Wednesday mornings and are a legal statutory ceremony.

The Ceremony room allows for up to 46 guests and allows for a more personalised ceremony with readings, personal vows and music. The average ceremony length is 30 minutes but can vary depending on how you choose to customise. Ceremonies in the Ceremony room are available on Fridays and Saturdays.

The largest room available is the Great Hall which can accommodate up to 100 guests, as with the Ceremony Room the Great hall allows for a personalised ceremony with readings, personal vows, and music. This room is available on Saturdays at 3pm and is subject to availability with Shaw House Events.
