Firstly may we congratulate you on your engagement!
Overlooking the Broadwater lake and with far reaching views over the Surrey countryside, Oatlands Park Hotel is a stunning Grade II Listed historic country house, set within 10 acres of picturesque grounds and is the perfect setting to hold your dream wedding.
Oatlands Park Hotel is steeped in royal history. The magnificent grounds were originally the site of a grand Tudor palace built by Henry VIII in 1538. Other monarchs, including Elizabeth I, James I and Charles I, also resided at Oatlands during their reign.
Over the centuries, the house and grounds have been rebuilt and remodelled several times, and in different styles, by a string of wealthy tenants. Oatlands Park opened as a hotel for the first time in 1856. The South Western Hotel, as it was known then, played host to a number of world-famous guests including writer Emile Zola, novelist Anthony Trollope and artist and poet Edward Lear.
The current owners bought the hotel in 1986 and have lovingly restored and refurbished it, retaining the unique character of the listed buildings and grounds.
Whether you are planning a grand ceremony and reception, or a more intimate affair for close family and friends, Oatlands Park Hotel can offer a variety of options and packages to suit. With an experienced team to guide you through the planning process, you are guaranteed warm, personal, yet unobtrusive service designed to make your special day run smoothly.
