We had the most perfect wedding at Merriscourt, and so much of that was thanks to the incredible team there who went above and beyond for us.
Merriscourt itself is a truly stunning venue. The three beautiful barns, charming courtyard, and endless grounds provided the perfect backdrop for our day. The accommodation cottages were comfortable, welcoming, and ideal for spending time in before and after the main event.
From the start, Paige and Emily were exceptional—supportive, organized, and absolute experts at what they do. Our planning meetings were thorough and reassuring, and their communication throughout the process made everything feel seamless and stress-free.
I can’t talk about Merriscourt without mentioning the food! From the very first canapés at our open day, we knew we were in for something special. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was.
On the day itself, Paige was an absolute star. From calming pep talks with my bridesmaids before I walked down the aisle to making sure my husband and I had a chance to enjoy some canapés amid the excitement—she thought of everything.
We’re so grateful to Merriscourt and their amazing team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. -

The location is stunning and makes for fabulous photos; our guests were amazed. The food was fantastic and bespoke to what we wanted, the chef is very flexible and everything was personalised. Again the guests were so complimentary of the food. All staff members were so helpful and professional. Last but not least, Emily and Paige were the best planners, they met up with us as many times as needed and helped us create the perfect day and again fit it around exactly what we wanted! We really valued their input and expertise and they were so accommodating despite last minute changes. Throughout the day they were also keeping time and moving guests to where they needed to be which meant we could just relax and enjoy the day! Everything is onsite too and there is the option of staying indoors all day if the weather is bad. We got to enjoy the courtyard (in March) for the drink reception. We also stayed in the cottages which were great! We really had the most perfect day and could not have wished for anything better. Don't hesitate to book Merriscourt! -

Wish we could do it all over again!
If you are reading this and aren't sure, go meet Paige and Emily at one of their open days. You will fall in love with the venue! It's a beautiful place to get married. The barns are stunning, the surroundings are lovely and the accommodation is second to none.
From start to finish Paige and Emily have been outstanding, going above and beyond for every wish, query and last minute change we put to them. They truly made planning our wedding easier, they are a pleasure to deal with and always communicate quickly with straight answers or suggestions to problems we had.
On the day itself we were very well looked after, knowing Paige was on top of things really helped us just enjoy our day and not worry about anything.
The food is impeccable. All of our guests (of all dietary requirements) said how amazing the food was, beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.
Thank you to Paige, Emily and the team! We really wish we could did it all over again!

The most incredible venue and team!
Paige, Emily and the whole team are absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the venue is incredible. The best day of our lives! The team are with you through the whole planning process and make you feel so calm and confident ahead of the big day. They’re accommodating and flexible and will always do what they can do make your day extra special. Food is brilliant, setting is brilliant. All our guests are still raving about it. Thank you Merriscourt!! -

Merriscourt was a wonderful venue for our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out!
The location and the space is wonderful - this is a great venue to be at if you want a truly special Cotswold wedding, and we were really pleased with how we could be creative with the styling of the wedding to make it personal to us.
Emily, Paige, Eva, and the rest of the catering and events team made us feel very special during both the planning and the day itself, and ultimately it all went off without a hitch which is a testament to how well they had it all under control!
The food was delicious and they bent over backwards to accommodate us - we had a fully vegetarian wedding and the guests were delighted with everything.
We also really appreciated their flexibility and communication - in particular due to some health issues on my side, as well as some surprises that we had planned for the special day. They very much went above and beyond.
Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Merriscourt!

We got married at Merriscourt on 23.10.24 and it was the most amazing day. Such a beautiful venue and we can’t thank Emily and Paige enough! The whole team at Merriscourt were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us on the lead up to the wedding and the day of. The day ran so smoothly and the food was amazing! -

We knew from the moment we saw Merriscourt, and met Emily, that it was the venue we wanted to use to get married in.
The venue itself has everything you could need to make your day special. The grounds are spectacular, we were fortunate that we had sunshine on our wedding day, but the views over the Cotswolds are stunning on even an overcast or rainy day with the outdoor spaces perfect for an outdoors ceremony, reception or even just photos. The barns have everything you need, and the team are incredibly knowledgeable with great suggestions on what to do with each space, but also flexible enough to allow you to customise your wedding and really make it your own. We really appreciated that they gave us access to the venue a few days early to set up, it really took the stress away and just made us feel even more welcome.
The cottages on site are perfect for allowing your close friends and family to be close to you throughout the wedding, every detail was catered for, down to leaving food in the fridge for breakfast so that we did not have to think about bringing it with us. All of our family and friends remarked on how nice the cottages were, and how lovely it was to give them a space to get together before the wedding, as that was the first time many of them had met.
We cannot thank the staff enough for how kind and helpful they were during our wedding day, and afterwards. But we must single out Paige, Eva, and most importantly Emily for all the guidance and support they gave us from the moment we came to see Merriscourt to even after we left. They have been so accommodating and understanding of all the little things that we wanted to incorporate into our wedding to make it special, it would not have been such a special day without them and we cannot thank them enough.
If you want an unforgettable wedding that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, we cannot recommend Merriscourt enough! -

We would highly recommend having your wedding at Merriscourt! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and Emily and the team ensured that we had the best day that exceeded all expectations!
We fell in love with Merriscourt the first time we drove down the beautiful drive and into the grounds. For us, the venue was exactly what we were looking for, you can have everything inc. the legal wedding in one place, accommodation for all of our bridal/groomsmen party and closest family on site, not too far from London which is where most of our guests are from and lastly the most amazing views and spectacular looking venue. We booked it on our first wedding venue viewing and couldn’t have been happier with our decision!
We used a lot of Merriscourt’s recommended suppliers who were also amazing! Flowers by Kirsty has been to the venue numerous times so could send through an almost shopping list of what others have had which was so great when you don’t know what you are looking for. They made both rooms look incredible and we would highly recommend having one floral hoop as really bought the white barn to life. Cake by Rachel did the most amazing cake and looked so great. Cotswold Wedding co. did the beautiful drapes which made the ceremony room fit with the colour scheme. Twenty-One events definitely brought the party and had everyone on the dance floor until the bitter end! You do have to use the caters from Merriscourt but they were so great as we had a private dining session and you get to work with the chef on perfecting the menu on the day. The food was excellent and there was not an empty plate at any course! We had the duck starter and crispy pork which went down so so well. All the guests are still talking about the food!
Lastly, Emily and the team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. They made everything feel stress free and helped to support us as it can sometimes feel very overwhelming when you are at the start of wedding planning. On the day itself, Emily was so great at reading the room and adapted the timings to the day itself which made the day for us amazing and seamless and perfect! Whenever anything came up she would never come to you with a problem but always came with a solution which meant we could fully relax. We can’t thank you all enough for making it a day we and our guests will forever remember!
