The perfect wedding, pulled together in 72 days
One of the things that really sets The Manor House apart is that they can provide almost everything you need for your wedding, often at little or no additional cost. From the beautiful centrepieces and decor to the house DJ, illuminated letters, photo booth and countless finishing touches, they truly think of everything. Every detail was taken care of, and the whole team made the planning process feel effortless.
Our engagement was short – just 72 days from saying "yes" to the ring to saying "I do" in the beautiful Stable Barn. I honestly cannot thank Alicia, Clare and the entire events team enough for helping us create the wedding of our dreams in such a short space of time, and doing so with no stress.
From the moment we first viewed the venue, we completely fell in love with it. The Manor House is elegant and timeless, full of beautiful period features while still feeling modern and luxurious. We knew instantly that it was the perfect place for us.
Once we'd chosen the venue, Alicia and Clare secured our date and arranged a planning meeting to go through every aspect of our wedding. They carefully listened to exactly how we wanted the day to run and ensured every detail was planned to perfection. On the day itself, everything happened exactly as we'd discussed. The setting is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration we'd always imagined.
The layout of the Knights Hall and the outdoor spaces worked brilliantly. Rather than guests being separated into different areas, it felt like one large, sociable space where everyone could mingle together. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, so our guests made full use of the lawn by the gazebo. And the staff were fantastic in arranging additional seating outside so everyone could enjoy it comfortably.
The food was absolutely incredible. There was such a wide choice that we selected a great choice menu so everyone had something they enjoyed, including guests with dietary requirements. We've had so many compliments about the meal since the wedding, so a huge thank you to the chefs and all of the serving staff who did an amazing job.
Because our wedding came together so quickly, it was such a relief that The Manor House offered so many extras in house. They provided centrepieces, chair sashes, place cards, signage and so much more, which took a huge amount of pressure off us (both in organising and additional cost) and looked absolutely stunning. If you prefer to provide your own decorations, the team are equally happy to set everything up for you.
The house DJ was fantastic and even had a QR code that allowed guests to request songs throughout the evening, which everyone loved. We also added a photo booth, illuminated letters and a sweet cart for a small additional cost, and they were all huge hits with our guests. We also had a few additional suppliers and the team coordinated everything seamlessly.
My bridal party stayed in the Bridal Suite the night before the wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. It's spacious, luxurious and the perfect place to get ready on the morning of your wedding. There are plenty of guest rooms available too, many at a discounted rate for wedding guests, allowing everyone to stay over and really make the most of the celebrations.
The spa is another wonderful bonus. It's absolutely gorgeous, and we have six weeks membership included after the wedding.
On the day itself, Billie our Deputy Manager (Master of Ceremonies) was outstanding. Everything ran like clockwork. She anticipated everything before we even had to ask, listened carefully to every request and made sure the entire day flowed seamlessly. Knowing she had everything under control meant we could simply relax and enjoy every second. She was warm, kind and even walked me to the aisle with the biggest smile.
The grounds offer so many picturesque locations for photographs.
