The chic interior of the hotel and the beautiful garden provided the most amazing backdrop for our wedding photos.

Bryan was fantastic, , not only on our big day but throughout the whole planning process which he made smooth and stress free for us.

The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and they all seemed happy and ready to help when we needed them.

The wedding breakfast amd the buffet were absolutely amazing! Many of our guests have said that the food was really tasty and the portions were generous! We couldn't agree more!

The bridal suit (Berkshire Suite) is huge and stunning! It was the perfect place for me and my bridesmaids to get ready!

From start to finish, we felt completely supported and everything went exactly as planned. Bryan was absolutely fantastic, guiding us through every step and making sure every detail was perfect. We held our ceremony in the beautiful garden, which we decorated ourselves, and also prepared the décor for our dinner in the Garden Suite. The staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our plans and had everything prepared from their end a day in advance, which made the whole day run seamlessly.

The food was delicious, and the wedding suite we stayed in was beautiful. We’re grateful to the whole team at Fredericks for making our wedding truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We were fortunate to have Bryan (Hotel Manager) as the Wedding Co-ordinator. His communications over the year and on the day, were very speedy and thorough - nothing was too much trouble. We meet on a number of occasions to discuss options and prices whist planning the Wedding. We chose the Exclusivity deal - which meant we were the only people in the hotel. Being able to offer majority of the guests over-night accommodation was brilliant. This made the wedding a whole weekend event.
The ceremony took place outside, along with Reception drinks, canapes and a live singer, we then moved into the function room for the delicious 3 course breakfast.
An outside caterer supplied the evening Hog Roast, which was also delicious, We were very lucky with the Summer weather and our guests utilised the garden all weekend.

The suites were great to get ready in on the morning of the wedding plus we had breakfast delivered to the room. The day after we all met at 10am, back in the function room for a brilliant buffet breakfast. The food was hot and just kept coming!

Every detail previously discussed was implemented, service was brilliant.
The only tiny issue - bar service is slow - needs optics and more bar staff on shift during events.

Hotel main areas need new carpet and decorating. Some rooms need more than a little TLC. However, the garden and the function room, once dressed for the occassion, was just perfect,

My husband and I got married at Fredricks hôtel using the exclusive package. From the beginning the staff has been absolutely amazing and so helpful. On the day we did not feel a single time stressed about the big day as they had everything under control. We cannot recommend Fredricks enough as it really was the best day for us and we were lucky enough to celebrate our ceremony outside as the weather was gorgeous!
All family had a wonderful time and having everyone you love staying all together in the same place really make the day even better!

I visited Fredrick’s earlier in the year and can honestly say it is both charming and affordable. Holly, the wedding coordinator, was very helpful and great with communication. She is clearly passionate about her role and gave us a lovely engagement card and gift. The hotel is located near Maidenhead town centre, has plenty of parking for guests and a well-maintained grand entrance.

The staff all seemed friendly and the spa has an excellent swimming pool which is both indoor and outdoor. The main event room had just been re-carpeted and had several windows with views over the beautiful gardens. Wedding parties have sole access to the room, and just outside, a bar and restrooms - it’s always a bonus to be able to keep your guests in one area and to not have to worry about hotel guests mixing in!

We thought the packages were super affordable – the best prices we’ve seen in the area and you’re able to reserve hotel rooms at a fair price/free depending on the package offered.

If you’re looking for a hotel wedding near Maidenhead with travel links nearby, I’d definitely recommend a visit to Fredrick’s.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Holly, the Wedding Coordinator, for all her help in organising our wedding. We had an absolutely fantastic day & we both wish it never had to end!

We are so glad we got our wedding outside (despite it looking like a downpoor was imminent at one point!), and the function room looked stunning…

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Holly, the Wedding Coordinator, for all the hard work she put in on our Wedding Day. We had a wonderful time, and so did all our guests.

During the day we saw very little of her except for the occasional glimpse out of the corner of an eye. But what we saw were the results of all of her very professional work behind the scenes to make everything run so perfectly.

That professional and well organised manner came out so well in many ways including the way she planned to cope with the weather eventualities, and informed us how it could be managed.

The way that she paid attention to small details to get them right made such a difference to and most of our guests were moved with how special they felt. Something we ourselves felt too.

I can’t thank Holly, the Wedding Coordinator, and her team enough for everything they did for our big day. From the minute I checked in on the Friday to our departure the Monday morning I was made to feel incredibly special.

Holly is amazing at her job and the day went so well. The comments we have had from family and friends has been so overwhelming on how much they enjoyed the day as well.

I can’t praise Holly or her team enough for all they did on our day so thank you so much.

Fredrick’s hotel is a fantastic wedding venue, and we are so glad that we chose it.
The service we received from Holly, the wedding coordinator was second to none, we would have been lost without her. She always replied promptly to our frequent email exchanges, and I was made to feel like nothing was too much to ask for. Everything went smoothly on the day, this is completely down to the attention put into it by Holly and the rest of the team at Fredrick’s .
The venue itself was perfect for us, with plenty of space outside of the main function room where our guests could mingle away from the noise of the disco. This was much appreciated by some of our older guests, and great for the younger children. The beautiful gardens and lovely décor inside meant that we got some fantastic photos.
The wedding breakfast was delicious, as were the bacon sandwiches in the evening. The canapes must have been good too, because our guests managed to devour them before we got a look in!
A private room was setup for us the next morning to have breakfast with the guests that had stayed overnight, this was a great way to get a bit more time with people we’d missed the day before, and felt like it extended the wedding day just a little longer.
We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did to make our wedding day special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.

My husband and I had the best experience at Fredrick's for our wedding. From the pre wedding meetings to the actual day. We can't thank Holly, Didier and the other staff enough for everything they did to make it the best day of our lives!

Orginally Alix was the coordinator, but about 3 months before our wedding Alix left and we were slightly worried about how the rest of the plans will go! But Holly took over with such professionalism and made us feel totally confident that it'll all go smoothly.

The food was delicious, the rooms were great and the staff are so helpful!

The amount of emails sent between Holly & I on the lead up was near enough daily and Holly replied very quickly with all the answers to my queries.

Also the spa the next day was fantastic (although some loud ladies came in so we left slightly earlier than we would have liked!) but the lady that did my massage was one of the best I've had - unfortunately I can't remember her name!!

All in all, a perfect weekend!

Fredrick’s Hotel & Alix
Venue: Beautiful boutique hotel situated in maidenhead, wonderful décor and a beautiful new neutral carpet within main function room. The reception is gorgeous with art deco chandeliers and marble floor which looks lovely for wedding photos!
Hotel Rooms: We stayed in the Berkshire Suite for our stay at the hotel and it was absolutely amazing! It was quiet and peaceful. The shower and bath are lovely and the bed is massive. I didn’t get ready for the wedding in this room – but I would highly recommend it for future brides as it is very spacious.
Food: Charlie the Chef is absolutely wonderful, he was so flexible and professional. The food was delicious, the kitchen team must have worked so hard to deliver 82 meals all at the same time and all piping hot! Our guests commented on the food and said that it was delicious. The sauce for the chicken was amazing!
Wedding Service: This hotel has the most amazing Wedding Coordinator ever! Alix Matania - She is such a wonderful lady and I am so sad that I don’t have any more annoying bridezilla emails to send her! Alix is so patient and understanding and completely understood my theme for my wedding. Alix was kind to both of our parents and whenever we visited to discuss plans she was always welcoming and engaged with us fully. What sets Alix apart from the rest is that she really cares, from responding to emails quickly, to giving us great wedding advice – she knows this industry inside out and I am so pleased that we had her to guide us through our wedding planning. Thank you so much Alix.

Getting married at Fredrick's Hotel & Spa was the best decision we have ever made! The venue was really nice, food was excellent and most of all our wedding planner Alix was amazing! Alix is not only a friendly and professional person but she also is always happy to help. Her enthusiasm and support was greatly appreciated. She is fantastic and a fabulous event/wedding planner who will make anyone's day very special...Francesco and his staff were also brilliant. We held our wedding here on the 31st December 2014. The event was coordinated by Alix who could not have been more helpful and our day was perfect. The hotel staff were very helpful and the restaurant manager most attentive. The food was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Accommodation was good and the bridal suit a great size for the bridal party to get ready in. We could not fault the hotel and would highly recommend.

We booked Fredrick's as exclusive use from Friday to Sunday morning. We wanted a homely, private wedding where guests could feel comfortable knowing that everyone in attendance was there for our wedding only. Fredrick's were first class at making this idea work from rejigging menu's, restaurant times and general change of normal hotel business. We worked on a special room rate, menus, drinks and special needs for our guests. The layout of the hotel is a huge bonus for weddings. Because this is a small hotel all areas are interlinked. We had all doors open so whether you were dancing in the function room, drinking in the bar, sitting outside in the garden or in the restaurant, everyone was together unlike large commercial hotels with endless corridors and staircases. All rooms are a short distance off the main area which is superb for nipping off and freshening up during the day. The food was perfect (breakfast a highlight) in fact we have had many guests telling us they plan on visiting the hotel again. We spent a year planning our Wedding with Alix, she was extremely helpful, efficient and replied to our emails and inquires instantly during that time with a personal touch. As always with a wedding and this kind of time scale things changed on a weekly basis and Alix was more than accommodating with regard to this. Most of our planning came with recommendations from Alix (DJ, Hog roast, chair overs) and we were happy with everything. We had our own bookings such as a harpist & piper during the day and Alix dealt with all the organising. We didn't panic or stress for one-second. I cannot recommend this hotel enough as an 'exclusive use' venue. I'm even considering it for my fortieth Birthday!
