We had the most magical wedding day at Elmore Court on Saturday 2nd December 2023 - a day we will never forget!

Elmore Court was the first wedding venue we visited while scouting venues in the South West two years ago. We instantly fell in love with the venue and felt we wouldn’t find anywhere better. So, we cancelled our other viewings and booked our date with Elmore!

The entire process from that point on was a breeze, thanks to the fabulous 'Team E'. Everyone we interacted with - from Sue in Accounts to our brilliant coordinators, Rachael and Alice - went above and beyond, both in the lead-up to the day and on the day itself, ensuring we were well looked after throughout.

We visited Elmore again before the big day (once for the menu tasting and twice more for their open days). This allowed us plenty of time to explore the venue and plan every detail of our wedding.

In the final weeks leading up to the wedding (when all the planning can start to feel overwhelming!), Rachael & Alice were a massive godsend, ensuring everything was fully taken care of and putting us at ease.

The wedding itself went off without a hitch. The venue looked absolutely beautiful, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Team E and our florist, who created a magical setting (made even more enchanting by the winter fog surrounding the venue). The staff were faultless throughout, with everyone we encountered - from the bar and kitchen staff to the waiting team - being friendly and professional.

The biggest appeal of Elmore for us was that everything could happen under one roof. The ceremony took place inside the beautiful Hall, the reception was held in the Gillyflower (a stunning purpose-built party room that was the major selling point for us, with its soundproofed dance floor, stage, sound system, and lighting), and the venue offering 16 beautiful bedrooms for our guests to stay. We knew we could fully relax as soon as we arrived on-site, and we truly felt like we were inside our very own bubble where we could celebrate with all our guests.

The food was the best wedding food we have ever tasted. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu selection/tasting experience, and the presentation was perfect. Everyone loved it!

We received countless positive comments from our guests, who all agreed that Elmore is one of the best wedding venues they had ever been to. We are still receiving rave reviews now, six months later!

Elmore now holds a very special place in our hearts, and we will certainly return in the future to stay in one of their fabulous treehouses!

From the very first moment that we visited to choose our venue, on our wedding day, and now months later, the attention to detail, aftercare & consideration has been nothing short of remarkable.

We first came across Elmore Court many years ago whilst watching a documentary regarding the renovation and development by the owner Sir Anselm Guise. He came across as an exceptional custodian of the house and his wildlife conservation and rewilding initiatives perfectly matched our own ideas and values. When we actually visited the court, we were simply taken aback with the stunning views, raw history, elegance and timelessness of the estate. You could really feel a sense of the many years of happiness and love that had been shared within the walls which truly captured and represented the very best of England’s stunning countryside.

The professional communications and management of our wedding by Jasmine Johnson was outstanding. The seamless way all the operational staff conducted themselves was extraordinary. The feedback from all our 160+ wedding guests, has been amazing, they all felt that their individual needs were catered for, and any hiccups that came along were dealt with quickly and efficiently without any stress or bother.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of staff at Elmore Court from day 1 of the wedding fairs, to food tasting management and finally to the event operations and after care teams, you really made our special day truly perfect in every single way.

Elmore Court is named one of the best wedding venues for a reason! Not only is the venue itself gorgeous but it’s the people who make up their amazing team that makes Elmore top notch! From Sue in accounting, to the culinary team, to our amazing coordinators Annie, Katrina and Lily, Elmore made the stress of wedding planning minimal, helping us every step of the way.

Our whole experience with Elmore Court was nothing short of fantastic from start to finish. From our first viewing with the lovely Sammy to the actual day ran so smoothly by the incredible Annie and her Team. All our correspondence with Annie and the wider team were replied to quickly and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. They accommodated our planning meetings around our busy work schedules and made everything very easy. The day itself was amazing! We were well looked after and Annie's gentle approach made us feel so calm throughout. The whole team helped helped bring everything to life and set everything up so beautifully. The House really felt like ours for the day and our guests commented on how beautiful it was, how attentive the staff were and how incredible the food was too! The venue really reflected the style we were aiming for of a classic and elegant Cotswold Wedding! A huge thank you to the team who really gave us the best wedding we could have ever hoped for!

We got married at Elmore Court this June and we cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we first saw the house driving through the stunning gates, we knew it was special and that we couldn't see ourselves getting married anywhere else. My husband and I are both lovers of history and we wanted a venue with character and charm and Elmore had that in spades and was known as the party house for a reason!
We booked it for a Saturday and Sunday as we had family and friends travelling from all across the UK as well as from further afield and we wanted to spend as much time as we could at Elmore.
From beginning to end everyone we've dealt with at Elmore has been endlessly professional but made us feel like old friends in every interaction. We had Alice as our co-ordinator and she was absolutely brilliant! She was so calm and helpful and ensured the day went smoothly. The attention to detail is second to none at Elmore, the whole time there felt like you were at home not a venue.
The house speaks for itself with how stunning it is and we loved that when we were shown around they were able to tell us stories about certain rooms and of the house which made it so much more personable.
The Gillyflower which is their purpose-built function area at the back of the house doesn't steal the spotlight from the house and blends in beautifully with the surroundings but is a showstopper in its own right. They really thought of everything when building it. From being eco-conscious and using materials from the estate to build it down to the sound system there isn't a detail missed.
The food at Elmore was STUNNING. So many guests told us how much they had enjoyed the food and that it was the best wedding meal they'd had. They were accommodating to all the dietary requirements and allergies of our guests. The breakfasts in the morning were also incredibly delicious.
On the Sunday we invited guests back and we had a day in the garden playing rounders and other games. We also had an inflatable assault course put up in the field at the back by the Gillyflower which was great and adults and kids alike had so much fun! For the evening meal, we had platters of cheese and charcuterie in the walled garden which was amazing. It was so pretty and peaceful listening to the gentle breeze through the trees and the chatter of everyone there it was idyllic. When the sun started to set we went inside and sat in the drawing room and stayed up until the early hours playing some intense games of Mafia. It was so cosy and inviting and the perfect place to gather at the end of the day.
As I said at the start, I can't recommend Elmore enough. The house is magical and the people who work there make it even more so. Thank you all so much for everything!

We had the most magical wedding at Elmore Court. The whole planning process was easy and stress free. Annie, our co-ordinator was always quick to respond and very helpful. The venue is stunning. The team are amazing, and our day ran so smoothly and everything was taken care of. We just wish we could do it all again!

Couldn’t have asked for a better venue! Annie and the team were perfect and went above and beyond my wildest dreams. Elmore is beautiful but the staff there take the experience to another level, I felt like the only bride in the world and I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Genuinely couldn’t recommend this venue enough!!

Wow, where can I even start! The professionalism and kind hearted nature of ‘Team E’ started from our initial viewing! Throughout the whole planning process Alex was on hand to answer my many questions! And nothing was ever too much trouble! The whole team were absolutely incredible on our day, so attentive but let us absorb everything. Ensured there was time for just us as a couple which was very welcomed to breathe! Everything ran perfectly, and the food was just Devine! Highly recommend Elmore Court to anyone, a stunning venue, amazing grounds and a team who go above and beyond! My partner and I celebrated our wedding at Elmore Court last summer and just wanted to recognise and thank the team for realising the perfect wedding for us and truly the best day of our lives!

We really appreciated our event coordinator Katrina, and all of the team's efforts leading up to the day and the day itself, and accommodating our various food and other requests!

It really was a special day and everyone shared how much they enjoyed celebrating with us at Elmore Court. The team provided an exceptional and friendly service as well which was consistent throughout our three day stay (we had the extended Thursday package).

Would highly recommend choosing Elmore as your wedding venue, you will not regret it!

From the moment we came for a first look at Elmore Court we knew it was the place for us - it was the only venue that actually made me feel tearful as we looked around it. The house is just beautiful, the main hall with its magical light makes for the most breathtaking ceremony room, every single bedroom for overnight guests was stunning, and it was fantastic to have friends and family staying in the house and feeling like proper house guests rather than hotel guests. Team E made sure absolutely everything ran so smoothly on the day, with so many of our guests commenting on the great team, the beautiful surrounds and, especially, the magnificent food (everything, from reception canapés through to the cooked breakfast served for house guests the morning after, was impeccable). I wish we could go back and do it all again!

We got married at Elmore Court in September and it was amazing. Kat and Team E made our dream become a reality. Everything went perfectly and Elmore will always be so special to us. Everyone loved the venue and only had positive things to say 😍

I cannot rate the team and venue at Elmore Court highly enough! They are a phenomenal venue and dare I say, the best out there.

Everything from the night before to the morning after the wedding was perfect!

What can I say, the wedding venue,  staff,  just everything was perfect. From the moment we booked our wedding we felt like nothing was ever too much trouble for Kat, Alex and the whole Elmore team, we really felt like we could ask anything and they'd help and accommodate us! They kept in touch and the experience throughout was 10/10. On the day the staff were so helpful,  everything was perfectly organised and we had the bestest most beautiful wedding ever.
