We looked at so many venues for our wedding, we thought it would be an easy task but it really wasn't.... until we visited Elmore Court.

From the moment we walked in we knew it was the right place, like buying or renting a new home, you just know. Grinning from ear to ear which of course we probably shouldn't have been doing.. we weren't suprised that they only had 5 dates left for the next 18months!!

Just some of the reasons why this venue is just incredible -

- The decor - beautifully decorated and not tired like some other venues we looked at
- Terms and conditions - extremely reasonable, I work in procurement and was pleasantly surprised by the clauses.
- Pricing - again, very reasonable, we could see why this venue was booked up for the best part of 2 years in advance
- Nothing is too much trouble
- Customer care - fantastic. Everyone is just so helpful at Elmore. Whenever we called someone answered the phone and could help
- Wedding co-ordinator assigned from 1 year before the wedding! Other venues it's been a month or few months before the wedding
- Food - excellent
- Cake stand and knife - no extra costs like some venues, no cost for cutting the cake
- Cutting the cake after the ceremony - We did this and it was so such a great idea. Elmore Court were absolutely fine with us doing it in this way rather than after the dessert yet other venues will not allow it.
- Gillyflower - Such a beautiful location for the wedding breakfast. Due to the stunning decor, you can save on decor as it is so pretty. Also by having the event in one room rather than spread out across various rooms (wedding breakfast, bar, another room for the dance floor - as we have seen at other locations) the dance floor will be empty. A great tip from a large well known function band said make sure you have a venue that everything happens in that one room, such great advise! You have it here at Elmore!

There is so much more I could write but I suspect I will run out of characters. Our wedding ordinator was Sophie Townsend and I cannot rate her highly enough, she was just fantastic, from start to finish she was there for us and we came back from honeymoon to a lovely card from her and the team, such a nice touch. Thank you so much Sophie!!

It really was the best day of our lives and it's a massive thanks to Elmore Court.... we will be back for our honeymoon next year. Those treehouses are divine!

From the moment we viewed Elmore Court, we knew it was the venue for us. Kat was warm and welcoming during the viewing, and the house itself is stunning. We loved the amount of space available and the fact the venue is exclusive-use. Being able to stay onsite, including the night before, made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. I wish I could stay in the coachhouse again!!!

We secured our date quickly and communication from the team in the lead-up to the wedding was consistent and helpful. Our coordinator, Sophie, was excellent throughout the process, always responsive and supportive with planning and suggestions.

On the wedding eve, Sophie talked us through the plan for the day and how the team would help move everything over to the main house, which really helped the morning run smoothly. Breakfast in the Coach House was a great touch and helped remove stress from the morning.

The food was outstanding, with many guests commenting on the quality and the great portion size. The cocktail hour worked perfectly, and moving it outside created a great atmosphere and we were able to enjoy the lovely weather a little while longer. When there was a small delay (our fault - we were chatting too much!!!) with the first dance and cake cutting, the team got us back on track and kept the evening running smoothly.

The only disappointment was during the drinks reception. We had ordered 40 jugs of Pimms but were initially only given 4, which quickly became noticeable and disrupted the reception. This resulted in us being pulled away from guests and needing to check my emails on my wedding day, this could have been handled more discreetly given deposits and a tab were already in place - it could have been resolved the following day or they could have spoken with us when we were sat down waiting for food. We shared this feedback with the team and hope this has since been addressed.

Overall, it was a beautiful day and an incredible venue that exceeded expectations. Both us and our guests were blown away by the setting and experience! Can't wait to hopefully visit again one day.

From the moment we set eyes on Elmore Court, we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, with a charm that instantly captivated us.

Our journey began with a tour led by the amazing Alice. She instantly connected with us and truly understood our personalities, making us feel so at ease. Her warmth and authenticity made us wish for her as our coordinator.

Fate had an interesting plan for us, as we worked with three different coordinators throughout our two-year planning process. First, we met the fantastic Annie, followed by the sensational Kat, whose legendary expertise at Elmore reassured us every step of the way. When Kat moved into a new role, she told us Alice would take over—and it felt like the perfect full-circle moment.

Our vision for the wedding was very specific. Coming from military families, we wanted the event to reflect a classic elegance, and Elmore Court naturally lent itself to creating the atmosphere we dreamed of. From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind and accommodating, even as I—an admittedly detail-driven, "A-type" bride—made numerous requests. Despite some initial challenges, the team always came back with thoughtful solutions, especially considering the logistics of hosting 200 guests.

A highlight of our weekend was staying in the Coach House from Thursday. Everything was prepared for us, including a lovely note and chocolates from Alice. It was such a personal touch and made the start of the weekend feel even more magical. Breakfast in the Coach House on Friday and Saturday mornings was delightful, as was dining in the main house on other occasions.

Friday was a special day as we celebrated both my and my cousin’s birthdays. Dinner in the dining room was set up beautifully, and the Great Hall hosted a lively party afterward. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning staircase, the cozy drawing room, and the overall grandeur of the venue.

Saturday was everything we hoped for and more. Thanks to Alice and our planner, the day unfolded seamlessly, leaving us free to savor every moment. The confetti line was picture-perfect, and the transition to the Gillyflower left our guests in awe. From the flowers to the décor, everything was stunning. The food was exceptional, and the dance floor reveal was a showstopper.

The party was unforgettable. The Gillyflower’s sound system is phenomenal, and the fireworks were the perfect ending to an incredible day. Nearly a month later, people are still talking about it, and we can’t help but feel proud of how perfect it all was.

Of course, no event is without its hiccups. The move from the Coach House to the main house on the wedding day felt hectic, and I did lose a few items in the process, which was disappointing. I wish there had been a bit more time or assistance with this transition, but in the grand scheme, it didn’t diminish the joy of the day.

Alice, you are a star. Your patience, kindness, and dedication made our experience truly unforgettable. To the entire Elmore Court team: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you more than words can express. Please don’t forget us—we will never forget you.

I cannot explain how amazing our experience has been beginning to end with Elmore Court and Team E! From the open day back in 2022 all the way through to the morning after our magical day. It really was a superb experience. The attention to detail, the organisation- no ask is too large! Our coordinator Alice was/is the GOAT, for all those brides who worry about the details that you will not be able to control on the big day- do not fear…Alice is here! We really could not have done it without her and we will forever be grateful. In fact the whole of Team E made our whole day! It is such a wonderful thing seeing how much the staff enjoy their roles in your day. Every interaction was phenomenal- from the kind gardener/maintenance man who managed to get me inside the evening before just in time to grab my champagne I’d forgotten to get- to the wonderful lady who specifically looked after us (the bride and groom) during our wedding breakfast. We got married at Elmore Court in July and had the most incredible day! The house, Gillyflower and the grounds are all stunning. Thank you to all the Elmore team, especially our coordinator Lily, for all their help along the way and on the day, it went so smoothly! Also a special shout out to the kitchen staff, they made a bespoke menu for us and the food was fabulous, we've had so many compliments. Would highly recommend, it's a magical place!

Wow, what can we say about Elmore Court! 😍 Our wedding day there was everything we dreamt it would be and more 😍

Our wedding coordinator and the whole of the Elmore team made the day so relaxed, beautiful and elegant. The venue is absolutely stunning, the perfect place to start married life! We had so many compliments from guests about the venue, the food, the service and the setting. It was simply amazing! The whole day flowed seamlessly and we will always have a special place in our hearts for Elmore.

From the moment we pulled through those big gates and up the drive, we knew Elmore was the one. We booked it there and then for two years later and made the best decision possible! We went with a long Thursday, so had access to the house from the night before the wedding - another amazing decision! We chose to have a big BBQ and invite all of our day guests so they could get to know eachother before the big day. We had amazing food (still need that beef brisket recipe!), had lawn games, and Elmore even helped us host a screening of the euro-semi finals. The wedding day itself couldn't have been more perfect. Our wedding coordinator was Jasmine and she couldn't have done more for us, from answering our countless emails to running with 20 seconds to spare to help me stick a photograph back on my bouquet right before I walked down the aisle. She was incredible. The day itself was also amazing - the hall looked amazing for our ceremony, and people commented on how it was the nicest wedding venue they'd ever been to. It really is a mix of all tastes - old meets new here so you have a bit of everything. The food was also amazing. I am gluten free and the venue managed to make all the canapes gluten free for me in case I wanted to help myself to more. Multiple people noted about how great the food was as well. Overall we just had the best day ever, we wish we could do it all again - nothing went with a hitch and we will be talking about it for years to come!! Thanks so much to Team E for making all of our dreams come true.

We had the most magical wedding day at Elmore Court on Saturday 2nd December 2023 - a day we will never forget!

Elmore Court was the first wedding venue we visited while scouting venues in the South West two years ago. We instantly fell in love with the venue and felt we wouldn’t find anywhere better. So, we cancelled our other viewings and booked our date with Elmore!

The entire process from that point on was a breeze, thanks to the fabulous 'Team E'. Everyone we interacted with - from Sue in Accounts to our brilliant coordinators, Rachael and Alice - went above and beyond, both in the lead-up to the day and on the day itself, ensuring we were well looked after throughout.

We visited Elmore again before the big day (once for the menu tasting and twice more for their open days). This allowed us plenty of time to explore the venue and plan every detail of our wedding.

In the final weeks leading up to the wedding (when all the planning can start to feel overwhelming!), Rachael & Alice were a massive godsend, ensuring everything was fully taken care of and putting us at ease.

The wedding itself went off without a hitch. The venue looked absolutely beautiful, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Team E and our florist, who created a magical setting (made even more enchanting by the winter fog surrounding the venue). The staff were faultless throughout, with everyone we encountered - from the bar and kitchen staff to the waiting team - being friendly and professional.

The biggest appeal of Elmore for us was that everything could happen under one roof. The ceremony took place inside the beautiful Hall, the reception was held in the Gillyflower (a stunning purpose-built party room that was the major selling point for us, with its soundproofed dance floor, stage, sound system, and lighting), and the venue offering 16 beautiful bedrooms for our guests to stay. We knew we could fully relax as soon as we arrived on-site, and we truly felt like we were inside our very own bubble where we could celebrate with all our guests.

The food was the best wedding food we have ever tasted. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu selection/tasting experience, and the presentation was perfect. Everyone loved it!

We received countless positive comments from our guests, who all agreed that Elmore is one of the best wedding venues they had ever been to. We are still receiving rave reviews now, six months later!

Elmore now holds a very special place in our hearts, and we will certainly return in the future to stay in one of their fabulous treehouses!

We got married on 23/5/24 in this beautiful venue. The day was perfect, thanks to the hard work of all the incredible team at Elmore.

Yes it’s pricy, but it is also one of the UK’s best wedding venues in my opinion. The coordinator Jasmine was amazing and they were so accommodating and everyone did their best to make sure we had a perfect day. Thank you Elmore!

Oh and the food was absolutely gorgeous.

Where to begin! Everything went so smoothly, and it was all so perfect - especially all the little nuances that were so important to us like special drinks and canapes we requested. Alice our assigned wedding planner really did a phenomenal job and we really appreciate it. A few of our friends even commented about us being greeted with drinks by Alice when we came out the ceremony saying how nice that must of been - and it was definitely needed. Alice was there all day making sure everything went perfectly, doing last minute printing, making sure my veil and bouquet were safely stored when no longer needed and she kept me so calm when I was so anxious, we definitely needed that support.

We always knew Elmore court was the right choice, but Alice and the rest of the team just made it that much more perfect, it really added that special touch, making sure everything ran perfectly while still treating us so well!

And the food! We have had nothing but rave reviews about the food, it was exceptional, by far the best food we or any of our guests have ever eaten at a wedding. I was so full I had to loosen my corset! And we loved that it was all sustainably sourced. The drinks prices in the evening were much more reasonable than other venues we'd been guests as too.

The venue itself is beautifully maintained, the house full if character, so individual and gorgeous, while the gillyflower is modern, cool and sleek in such a unique way,

We first came across Elmore Court many years ago whilst watching a documentary regarding the renovation and development by the owner Sir Anselm Guise. He came across as an exceptional custodian of the house and his wildlife conservation and rewilding initiatives perfectly matched our own ideas and values. The feedback from all our 160+ wedding guests, has been amazing, they all felt that their individual needs were catered for, and any hiccups that came along were dealt with quickly and efficiently without any stress or bother.
