An unusual country house wedding venue like no other, this Grade II listed mansion holds over 850 years of family history within it's walls, and is yet wildly young at heart. Sustainably run, consistently rated 5 stars and entirely surrounded by stunning countryside (part of which is now rewilding!) Elmore Court is owned by Anselm Guise, founder of Glade festival and Nano records.
The historic house was built to entertain, being the Guise family's party pad for over half a century before being entirely refurbished for weddings and events in 2013. The careful upgrading of Elmore Court has continued over the years with the addition of a stunning sustainably built sound proof reception venue ‘the Gillyflower’ (made entirely from rammed earth and materials gathered from the land.)The Victorian walled garden has been totally revamped and is now growing much of the seasonal veg for wedding plates as well as herbs and other deliciousness.
Rewilding part of the estate is the next step in sustainability, and long horn cows are now happily grazing the wildlands here. Next will be the building of treehouses for forest stays, along with a ceremony space for woodland weddings! To be completed by early 2023.
As a country house wedding venue, it's pretty close to perfect with several brilliant options for the ceremony and reception including the historic and magical Great Hall, a Norman church described as being one of England’s prettiest and so much more both outside and in.
The house has 16 elegantly and comfortably designed bedrooms and can sleep 35 guests of the married couple. Included in the hiring of the venue is the newly renovated Coach House which brides or grooms have access to for the night before the big day, a delightful pamper pad to relax and enjoy some spa treatments with select friends and family before waking up at Elmore Court for hair, makeup and a small glass of something perhaps...
Elmore Court is an incredibly well thought through venue for exclusive weddings of up to 200 people and sometimes beyond.

A cold and crisp Friday in February, gather your friends and family, light the fires and celebrate your love and lives together in the perfect surroundings for a winter wedding!
11th February 2022 is our very last chance for a 2022 wedding, so although it seems very soon this is actually the last date available to marry at Elmore Court before 2024...
Team E will pull out all the stops and help you through every detail of wedding planning, you won't need to worry about a thing.
And in fact we've heard many times before that a 'shot gun' wedding is half the stress of a long engagement as it enables couples to go with their gut instinct rather than deliberating on the details.
Now more than ever before it's worth grabbing life with both hands and going for it.
So come on, let's get you wed!
We're opening our doors again in March for the chance to come and explore the house, grounds and rewilding land. If you're still looking for your perfect wedding venue and haven't yet seen ours you can even book yourself a private tour with Team E on the day.
Save the date and keep an eye out for more details as they arise!
