Denroyd Farm is a unique barn wedding venue ready for a fun and unique celebration. Located close to Barnsley, Huddersfield & Wakefield area. Our family-run business offers unpretentious alternatives to wedding packages, welcoming couples who are looking for something a bit different from the usual options. Nestled in the heart of the Pennines, this venue is one that nearlyweds can truly make their own for a truly remarkable set of festivities.
Facilities and Capacity
Denroyd Farm is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies. A couple can use the ceremony barn that is included so they won't need a room change around. This venue can host up to 170 seated guests and even more than this number for a couple's evening reception. With a fully licensed bar, stage, dance floor, furniture, and much more included as standard, this event space is ready for memorable and fun times.
Services Offered
Racheal and the Denroyd Farm team have more than 16 years of experience in bringing dream weddings to life. They offer a range of packages to elevate a couple's wedding dreams. These all include quality catering with reasonable bar prices and three-course meals. Exclusive use of the venue, wedding coordination, car parking, and accessible facilities make these premises more welcoming for all guests. Confetti, entertainment, and outdoor weddings are permitted on the grounds.

'Deluxe Denroyd'
In conjunction with Leeds caterer 'Eat Me, Drink Me', we can offer a deluxe food and drinks package including exclusive venue hire, a 2 or 3 course wedding breakfast and evening food.
'Rustic Yorkshire'
Exclusive full day hire including a range of food and drink options. Wood fired pizza, Fish and chips and pie and peas to name a few!
'Party Package'
Perfect for those looking to get married later in the day with a 4pm start. This is a very popular package available all year around. With a range of welcome drinks and tasty catering options to choose from, we offer everything you need to provide your guests with a cork popping, right good do!

Perfect Venue for Our Special Day
From the very beginning, the team was incredible. We had several meetings with Rachel beforehand, and she was so helpful, responsive, and attentive to every detail. She really took the time to understand what we wanted, asked us thoughtful questions, and made sure our concerns were addressed. On the morning of the wedding, Rachel even helped decorate the venue, and it turned out exactly how we had envisioned, it was perfect.
The day itself ran so smoothly. Our ceremony took place in the side room, which created a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The buffet meal was fantastic, and our guests absolutely loved the hog roast in the evening. The DJ was brilliant, he really paid attention to guest requests and the music reflected us as a couple, blending Zimbabwean influences with English favourites for a truly personal experience.
If you’re looking for a venue that is beautiful, well-run, and supported by a genuinely caring team, we would highly recommend this one. They helped make our wedding day everything we hoped for and more.
Amazing all round!
Denroyd was one of the only local venues that could accommodate our large party size within our budget, however we didn't have to sacrifice at all on quality. The venue itself is beautifully presented (we barely used any of our own decorations!), the food and drinks were excellent throughout the day, and the setting is stunning.
We can't thank Racheal and the team enough for our day - it was everything we wanted and more.

Rachel and her sister worked so hard on the day for us to make it such a perfect day. We had so much fun.

The perfect night
On the night itself, the whole team was amazing, everything ran so smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Racheal went above and beyond to help in every possible way. It truly was the perfect night, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to share it with. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous rustic wedding venue!
Having been to so many traditional weddings, we wanted something different with a relaxed vibe and great food. We got exactly what we wanted. If you want a really tailored package to you needs then this is the perfect venue.

What an amazing day and the perfect venue. Racheal and the team helped make Lauren and Anthony’s wedding day memorable and so special. Fabulous food and entertainment, everything was organised so perfectly. Superb value for money and accommodated everything we asked for. Cannot thank you enough and highly recommend to anyone.
