River Xavier Photography is a service based out of Rotherham, South Yorkshire, specialising in weddings and other milestone moments. Owner and lead photographer River strives to create everlasting memories of one of the best days of his client's lives. His style combines fine art portraiture with documentary images providing clients with personalised collections of their memories. River’s wedding portraits are able to capture the romantic sparks of each celebration.
Services Offered
River Xavier Photography uses your narrative to tell the story of your day and create memories to cherish. Packages offer a pre-wedding meeting, photographic images or HD films that tell the story of your wedding from the preparations through to the reception. Images and film are professionally edited and available for you, your family, and friends to view using an online gallery. The final products are then presented to you in full HD via a gorgeous online gallery or optional USB in a beautiful presentation box. To ensure that every second of your day is captured, the services of a second photographer can be requested as well as additional hours.

What does the wedding package include?
Your wedding package includes a full day of wedding photography, all images are available on USB as well as a secure downloadable gallery for you to print and share. All images are fully edited
How far in advance should I contact you?
I often receive enquiries for the following year or the year after that. However, sometimes I have availability at short notice and will be happy to oblige
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

What is the charge for travelling?
I offer free travel within 50 miles, after that, travel is calculated at 25p per mile

I use two professional digital cameras with various lenses plus professional lighting equipment. I also have spare back up equipment available and video/ audio recording capabilities

Payments can be made via bank transfer or via a payment transfer to my business account. If you are local, payment can be made in cash. A receipt will be sent to you upon confirmation

I work with you, I arrive early at the venue and after planning your photos for the day and use a variety of techniques to gather your memories of your day

We were so incredibly lucky to have River capturing our wedding at Whitley Hall on the 9th of November, and honestly I cannot recommend him highly enough!
He was absolutely brilliant throughout, from the initial phone conversations through to the day itself he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The previews and sneak peeks we had were absolutely stunning and when we received our finished gallery this week we were over the moon! We are so unbelievably happy with all of them and so grateful!

Great photographer, would recommend!
River was brilliant at our wedding. He was lovely and really listened to what we wanted, and afterwards loads of our guests said how brilliant he'd been. As a queer couple we were a bit worried about finding a photographer, but River was great!

Great experience- highly recommended
River photographed our wedding for us in August 2024 @ Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield. He shared some previews in the evening reception in the bar which was great, the pictures themselves were edited and shared in a week or so and the service and photo's received were of a high standard. We would recommend River and his work highly.

River helped create a professional and calming aura about our day. A pleasant person to work with who listened to our vision and what we wanted and brought it to life with his artistic ways of capturing those special moments. He was very transparent with us talking us through every step of the day and shared his thoughts also with us to create a seamless working relationship. River shared some great ideas with us which extended from not just photography but his experience with various weddings providing helpful tips and ideas which we implemented into our wedding day which made it much more special.
River provided a quick turn around with photos despite it being a very busy wedding season. The quality of the photos where incredible and we really thank him and Luke (The videographer) for working so hard on our wedding day.

Professional and beautiful photography
I booked River and he was absolutely amazing to work with!
He is easy to talk to and very receptive and open ideas, he also helped us figure out the best way to take advantage of various points in the day to get a wide variety of shots.
He was great corralling the guests for photos, as well as taking candid photos.
Everyone at the reception mentioned how friendly he. and I couldn't have found anyone better!

Wonderful artistry through photogrpahy
River was so considerate and encouraging, throughout the day.
I didn't know he was there much of the time, he just kept clicking away taking the candid photo shots we had asked for.
Some of the photos he captured were amazing and they really captured our day.

Absolutely outstanding and highly recommended
River is just such a lovely friendly guy, we felt at ease as soon as we met him, even having a coffee with him at our pre-shoot. Throughout our day he snapped away & all guests commented how nice he was yet never in the way or intruding one bit. Our photos are amazing, some really great photos. As well as the standard poses, the random ‘snap’s are equally as good, some really special moments captured. We cant praise River enough and happy to recommend him to anyone, what a lovely guy and his work is first class, so many photos to choose from now.
