Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens is an outdoor wedding venue located in Birmingham, England. Situated only five miles from Birmingham’s city centre, the property boasts a beautiful formal garden aesthetic without any of the stiff, stuffy conventions. The adjacent Hall dates back to about 1599, and significant work was undertaken in 1700 to improve the main house and gardens. Today, this beautifully-restored 10-acre Grade II* listed walled garden is one of the few examples of the 18th-century English formal garden tradition remaining in the United Kingdom. You and your guests are invited to come and experience all that this beautiful venue has to offer. Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens wants to give you the freedom to enjoy your wedding your way. They recognise that your wedding is a significant milestone and their independent-by-nature approach is intended to give you the beautiful, enchanting experience that your special day deserves. They equally welcome small, intimate celebrations up to around 150 guests. Your wedding will help to ensure that one of yesterday’s treasures will have many more stories to tell, and the venue’s team cannot wait to join you as you begin the next chapter of your amazing love story.

Simply the best!
It is hard to put into words how beautiful the Gardens are, and it is very clear that a lot of love and care is put into them. It is the perfect place if you want a (very lovely) blank canvas to allow you to be creative with your planning. All of our guests absolutely loved it and with so much space it means there is something for everyone whether you want a quiet moment or a place to explore. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you’re thinking about having your wedding here just go ahead and book! Thank you again 💜

Any couple looking to use the gardens as their venue, I would highly / 100% recommend. The gardens are beautiful and speak for themselves and the staff are so lovely to work with and are there to offer a helping hand if you need anything.

A stunning venue
We chose to have the ceremony on a circular lawn, which is at the end of a clear path from the hall to the wall that encompasses the gardens. With the hall behind us and a view of the outer gardens in front of us, it was just perfect.
After the ceremony we had a champagne reception on the Archery Lawn before leaving for our wedding breakfast. It was a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
