Historical notes

As its name suggests, the castle belonged to the famous Borgia family and dates back to around the year 1700. During the timethe castle has been used as a summer residence. The castle's gates were closed to the public until around 1990. Only since then has it begun to come to life, for certain periods of the year, as a venue for vacation rentals and since 2001 for events and performances.
